"Yes," he replied, as he pulled off his hood. The fighter revealed pale olive eyes and a severely scarred neck and chin. Humbra smiled still, hiding the pain from where his scars had come from. "Are you still nursing that limp I gave you?" Humourously he winked at her.

Tyrannas eyes would spark mischevously. "That was a cheap shot and you know it." She would tilt her head up to his proudly, almost defiantly. "How're those scars I gave you?" She abruptly reached up and stroked the one nearest his jugular. "Healed I see?"

His flesh twitched upon being touched. "Yes. Healed." The fighter's left cheek shuddered from right to left, obviously showing the tension in the man's torn up skin. "And not all of these scars are from you, Tyr'."

Her smile brightened. "No, Hummy, you're right, but a good portion of them are." she moved her hand back to her side, staff held lazily in the other.

He smiled. The fighter's eyes remained on the woman, and went to the wooden staff with his gaze. His mind tugged at the metal in her staff- pulling it lightly towards himself through his special ability.

"Still using that weapon?"

Raising an eyebrow, Tyranna let the staff, and herself move closer to him, then lightly tapped his forehead with the oak head of the staff. "Yes. It's served me well thus far."

Shadows leased the area beneath his scars, causing his appearance to look.. Odd to the casual observer. He smiled and let the small staff to become unhinged from his special talent. "Has it?" He asked, more so to himself.

"I was watching one of the battles from the stands.. There is a person who can launch huge explosive volleys at people. Your staff.. Isn't, frankly, going to stand up to that damage... Your plan?"

Three inaudible words would escape her lips and the air around Humbra would begin to wind around him, caressing the scarred tissue and the undamaged skin. "You know what potential I have and you know my limits. You also seem to know where I'll be and what I'm thinking." She smiled wryly. "You know perfectly well what my thoughts are, my dear Humbra."

A visage of Ryu stands outside of the stadium, while another stands on the inside. The one on the inside suddenly senses the other half. "Heh, so, you have found another." The one on the outside replies, "Indeed, I have. Shall we take care of him?" The one on the inside responds, "Let's..."

"Do."

"This."

Both voices become in unison as the oceanic flames flare up on both personages. Suddenly, the flames spiraling down extinguishing completely, it shows that no one's there. Then suddenly, ten feet away from Mael, a man stands with a black cloak upon his entire body hiding his facial features and body structure. The cloak wavers almost like a blob.

"What's the deal now? It seems you're looking for a fight, just like us. But we do not like to fight with people that don't give us entertainment."
PostPosted: Fri Jun 02, 2006 9:19 pm

"Ah.. You perfectly know I'm not telepathic." He smiled, and continued," After all.. If I was.. I would be able to know what your wearing beneath your cloak." Humbra sighed," But.. I'm not blessed with that knowledge."

He stands quite casually, his eyes looking about boredly as if he was looking for something, but he had no clue what is was. After a few seconds beyond the odd man's comment, his lifted his head slightly to look at him, though not at his eyes, he was looking at his neck. He blinked slowly, his right hand's fingers running up and down the hilt of his nodachi lightly as his left hand dangle at his side right by his nodachi.

"No one's come near to figuring out how to kill me.
Could that be fun? "

He inquired in his usual bored and casual tone. He knew that this wouldn't be some one he should act so casually in battle with. His nodachi tugged itself loose from his sheath with a pleasent light ring.

Tyranna chuckled. "You know what I mean. And you already have. Do you not remember the last time we met?" She sighed at the memory. "It's been awhile, has It not?"

Trei_Shouri
Trei grins at the man's counter. At least he wasn't afraid of the dark. The man's words, too, drift through the shadows...but the man is wrong. Trei's attack was not a sign of apathy or Trei's view of his opponet...rather, it was merely a shield for Trei to hide behind as he prepared his next move.

The man can see his blade, but so too can Trei...And, since the blade was moving in an erratic and random pattern, the weapon would be easy enough to avoid. Meantime, Trei kneels down, slipping his blade into the soft dirt of the ground and channeling his energies through a natural converter/amplifier. What would happen would be just as simple as the original attack...As his opponent watched the whizzing blade, A two-foot long spike of piercing energy would launch up from the ground behind the man, aimed to pierce straight through the base of his spine with deadly, silent accuracy...

Something wasn't right... It was taking Rovell's sword longer than he expected to key in on his opponent's leyline, and attack him. It was as if it was clouded by the darkness that surrounded the area. He wondered if there was more to this veil of darkness that meets the eye, when he felt something poking at the bottom of his foot. Not wasting time wondering what it was, Rovell lept out of the way, and due to his increased speed, he was able to evade whatever it was that rose from the ground he stood on. Forgetting that his left ankle was injured, he whinced a bit on the landing.

Holding out his blade and allowing it's glow to act as a lantern, he saw the last remnants of an energy spike that could've ended his life without him knowing it. Thank god he decided to activate Moira's Promise earlier. "What the hell, man!? I asked you to spar with me, not accept a duel to the death!!" His blades reacted to his anger and glowed red for a breif moment, but controling his anger, they returned to their normal blue glow. He wasn't going to display his true strength this early on during his stay here.

"If you want this to be a full on fight to the death, then we can settle this in the tournament if we're lucky enough to fight eachother; but untill then, don't think you can just kill me and just call it a day!" He sooooo wanted to hurt his opponent now, but the red mark on him and this darkness was preventing him from accomplishing that. His option for now was to stay put for now and hope that his free-flying blade would find his opponent soon. All the while, the effects of Moira's Promise grew stronger.
