Akita Shigen
I like the guy but he's too static for me. He doesn't change at all. He's always himself and shows no growth. That's why he's one of the saddest characters.
Either he hasn't had a chance in the story to change anyways, or we must consider the fact that he
did change about forty years before
Naruto. It was during his maturing years that he was slowly beginning to alter his state of mind, and leisurely radiating his malevolent thoughts.
Plus, we haven't seen
everything about him. Half of his past is still a complete mystery to us. Sasuke's already been dissected it seems, with not much surprise to him. Sasuke can be a little shallow. Orochimaru is also an 'old' individual. To change at such an age is awkward.
Also, he's an
antagonist. Usually the bad guys don't change for a
long time. Orochimaru still needs a lot of time, scrutiny and appearances in the manga to decide he is less complicated than Sasuke.

Sasuke though, has some of the most growth. From him in the beginning to where he almost gives up the avenger pursuit to going to Orochimaru, but even then we see growth in choosing not to follow Itachi's path and letting Naruto live.
I'm sorry. I haven't seen much growth in him at all. Just revelations of his personality that weren't known before. There's nothing particularly new to him so far.
And haven't you seen the recent comics? Sasuke's planning on killing Naruto for power. He's sticking to the same thing.
If anything, Sakura has changed the most. XD

Lol. I'm not going to make a long list really, if people don't see his greatness then I feel bad for you all. ^^;;
When did I shoot down Sasuke in my last post? I said he was interesting, not the opposite. I wrote that account to show you and others that there's a lot to Orochimaru everybody overlooks. He's always underrated, which is a little depressing.

All I'm saying is that Sasuke or Naruto will probably kill Orochimaru eventually. XD
Now that's what I call a flat and predicting storyline. XD
