Isi smiled and said her good nights to the cheif and his family, but still worry went through her head. She looked to the others an then said.
" im gonna go back and further watch them, king" she spoke as she walked over to him.
King looked to isi and then to Kanti " we will talk more when we meet, i will find you or the other way around" he smiled as he let isi climb on his back.
" i'm going to take Isi and watch the pale faces more, perhapes i can speak to one of the soquili there" he smiled as he started to head out of the village.

Siryn Tigera hears familiar voices, she tilts her head back and let out a loud whinny to let them know that she is around. She jumps slightly when she hears gunshot and the sapling next to her shattered to millions of pieces. "No...." Siryn mutters to herself as she spins around, looking directly at one settler's starling blue eyes. The settler just merely smirked before his eyes widen when he witnesses Siryn's disappearing act when she swiftly slips into the foliage, making her way toward the tribe.
Seeing the princess and her father, Siryn walks up to them trying to stay calm before she bows lightly to them but to her dismay, they retreated to the respective teepees before she looks around at people hanging around. "Pale-faced is approaching this tribe!! We need to tell the cheifan and princess! They need to leave!" She says in rapid native language.

chepi sighed as she moved around in her teepee, there was an unease in the air and outside she could hear people speaking in exited hushed tones. Perplexed and curious she slipped out from her teepee and glanced around. "Whats Going on?" She asked, hearing broken words like pale face, and Ship. She furrowed her brow and began to look around for princess Soquili, She would know the true meaning to all this rubbish.
The maid glanced around, looking for the princess. "Princess Soquili?" She called out loudly aftering seeing a glimpse of her. "Princess? What is going On?" she called after the fleeting figure, everyone seemed to be wanting to know. Chepi felt her cries drowned out by the calls of others and sighed. Crossing her arms over her chest she sighed again. "Hmm, How can I get to the bottom of this..." she asked herself.. Everyone seemed to be pointing towards the shore side, talking of the water and the beach... perhaps that was the source of all this. Biting her bottom lip the chepi struck out from the village out in the direction of the shoreside, across the plains. She was going to get to the bottom of this one way or another.

Crow trembled under her tree, still spooked by those.. things she had seen on the beach. They looked sort of like natives..except.. their skin was all wrong..pale, and sickly looking.. Many of the pale-faced were scurrying around on the beach..with..were those soquilis?! They had heavy looking things on thier backs, and painful looking metal traps in their mouth. Poor things..stupid pale-faced.. She thought about her choices for a moment. She couldn't stay here, she was too close to the beach, and they would find her. What if they put those things on the poor soquilis on her? She shuddered. She could go to Kawani village? She remembered meeting two other Native's near the border of it..so maybe she could go there? But..so many people.. She glanced back at the beach, swarmed by the Pale's and the large log they had arrived on. One of them was holding the Boom-stick she had heard earlier. She shuddered at the memory. Quickly deciding, she grabbed her blankets, a few apples, and began running in the direction of the village.Surely they could offer her some protection there? She hoped so.
After a short while of running past trees and streams and other things, she could finally see the village, a small spot getting bigger. She shuddered as she saw all the native's scurrying about, and there was a tension in the air. Maybe she could just creep in? Yeah. That would work. Silently, using only the balls of her feet, she crept in. She passed through a crowd of people, but stopped, and glanced at one of them. Was that Princess Soquili? She had heard stories of her when she was little..

Nashota walked through the plains, down to the beach where there was a large wooden boat in the water, rested up on the beaches.
"That's a big boat," gasped Nashota, never seeing a boat that large before. She has only seen canoes.
She examined the area, making sure no pale-faces were near by. Nashota the quietly snuck towards their camp and found a pile of light-makers lying on the floor. She grabbed onto one.
The shaft was cool and hard, like a rock. It was metal or a silver of some sorts. She gently carried the light-maker back towards her camp, still making sure not to be seen.
If the pale-faces ever found out who stole their light-maker, Nashota would be in grave danger...
After Nashota was far from their settlement, she ran as fast as she could back to the chief.
"Chief!" she screamed, running with the light-maker in her hand. "I brought you one of their light-makers."
Nashota presented the item to the chief and became intrigued over a small piece of metal hanging down from part of the light-maker. Nashota pulled this piece of metal, like a lever. Suddenly, there was a cry of thunder coming from the end of the shaft as smoke and light launched up in the air. The light-maker released a sort of spiritual force that knocked Nashota off her feet. The light-maker fell to the floor next to Nashota.
"Be careful Chief," said Nashota, lying on her back. "It may possess evil spirits."

Tashika made her way through the woods, finally feeling bold enough to approach the beach. She had been hearing the boom of thunder during the clear day, watching the odd clouds, felt the disquiet of the animals. Finally wanting to know what was going on, she made her way from her forest home, across the plains to view what was to be seen. Pale skinned people, much like herself only wearing odd clothes, were swarming over the pale sand. She jumped at the sight of Soquili's with the pale ones, and frowned. Bands of leather stretched across their backs and faces, restraining them. The people pulled their mounts around instead of asking them, completely different from the Kiwani.

An acrid smell was what woke her up; sharp and smoky and unrecognizable. Murmuring to herself, Cowrie shifted on the sand. She felt itchy and hot all over, and when she opened an eye had to snap it shut against the sun. Ortzi cawed from overhead. Making an effort to sit up, she finally realized where she was - on the beach, still waiting for the Soquili to come back.
What was that smell? She got slowly to her feet, making the seagull shuffle along his branch, and stepped over to the tree, where it rose on a mound of dune. By squinting she could make out what was happening. There was a camp of sorts on the beach. Strange men, all over the camp, were cutting down the trees and servicing their ships, huge ships on the shore and the smoke was thicker than ever down there.
Cowrie leaned on the tree, felt her knees go weak. 'What's happening?' she wondered, baffled and suddenly worried. This...what was this? What if they found her home? Backing away from the scene, she whistled to Ortzi and fled to her teepee. It was thankfully undiscovered, but she wasted no time in packing. Even that was cut short - the sound of an incredible BOOM splitting the air sent her into a terrified rush.
It wasn't often she visited the village, but this was an emergency. Cowrie set out on foot, making sure to keep out of sight, while the seagull winged in the sky overhead. Thinking of the pink Soquili, the girl felt sad. She'd probably been scared away by the noise. As proven by their encounter before, she wasn't a particularily brave (or at least friendly) mare. Well, she would be happy to know if the mare was all right or not. That was what mattered.

Gliding high above the forest, Wambli saw the smoke on the beach. The dark oily color was wrong, and the acrid smell that drifted to her on the winds coated the mare's throat. Shaking her head in disgust, the dark mare decided she had to find out what it was that so fouled the skies that she loved. Wheeling wetsward, she flew towards the beach where the smoke seemed to come from. As she flew across the plains she was joined by a flock of geese, fat from spring foraging. "Hau, brothers!" she called to them, laughing as they wove and ducked around her, making a game of the flight they all enjoyed. As she drew closer, the scent of burning grew stronger and she could hear snatches of voices on the wind, speaking in a language totally inknown to her. She flew lower, trying to see a little better - were those soquili down there with soem sort of pack on them... Her curiosity was suddenly shattered by the sound of an explosion and a strangled honk. The goose nearest to her began falling, and the thick hot copper smell of blood filled the air. In near panic Wambli began to quicken her wingbeats, strong movements taking her higher and higher until the men below were mere specks on the ground. "The others must know of this!" she thought and she quickly turned and began her flight back to the home village. Behind her, there was much excitement and astonishment among the newcomers over the beast.. or was it a demon.. that they had seen.

Soquili The chief nodded to Chamain's request for a question. "We must not approach them until we know their motives. I'm trying to formulate a plan of attack if we should need it. I know not where they are from" "Alright." Chamain looked at her soquili and pet her. "Every thing will be okay." Turning back to the chief she asked more questions. "What are those other horses I see with them? They have these blankets on their backs for those pale faces to sit on." Wondering why, and how they might be different from soquilis, she knew that Awnae would have had felt uncomfortable with one her back.Looking back from the chief and her owner, she smiled. Not understanding a single word they were saying. Wha?... Awnae wanted to meet these humans everyone seems to be spying on. If they're not nice...they will have them selve's hurt by me. Shaking her head, she re-thought. No, no, no. I must stop my self, and let the humans take care of them.

Having herd all she really needed to hear, Moema did the only thing she could, leave. She had more pressing matters to attend to, like finding her Eachann before the pale men found him. She pressed towards the back of the crowd and made for her teepee.

Her glistening aqua eyes looked at these... beings? They were almost like her, but she would never go as low as comparing herself to these pale-face beings. Lulu frowned, they were using something to create earthquakes. Perhaps something as sharp as one of her stone knives?
She twitched again, as something... some horrible crashing sound was heard not too far away. She could hear whistles, commands... but somehow didn't understand all of it. Too much noise, too much disruption. The air got even thicker, perhaps unhealthier and Lulu decided it was time to go back.
The sun was shining brightly, that is when eveything else went quiet. Maybe the pale-faces decided to take a break... decide to use their powers some other day. She crept back into her teepe, inside many herbs and other substances could be seen hanging, swining or just there.
Lulu caughed a few more times before exiting her teepee. "What are they doing?!" She hissed softly. Even though her eyes were gray that did not mean she was blind, she could see smoke. Lots of it, around her teepee floating above the riverstream... things were working where the pale-faces stayed.
Only this type of smoke wasn't like the herbs she usually placed fire on. It made her feel sick, it made her cough... was this some type of evil spirit?

The black stallion was scouting the plains when suddenly, there was a large noise. His ears perked up as he swung around, noticing a large oak falling about two hundred meters away. Curiously, Hok'ee trotted towards the woods, when he noticed what looked like a native. He cautiously walked closer before noticing how pale they were. Were they sick? Ghosts? Or were they just.... Different? Backing away, he noticed that they were the one causing trees to fall. Why would they do that? Carefully, he began going forward, trying to think of reasons for a native to do such a thing. Then, it struck him like a stone in the head. They weren't natives! Shrieking at this, he angrily trotted closer before hearing a loud KABOOM!!!

Alona's ears flickered as the booms sounded across the clearing. Something large fell, but what? Alona thought as her eyes skittered across the herd. She was worried. She had a duty to fullfill and she was worried that whatever was creating the noise, it would affect the herd. Moki hug close to Alona as she paced the ground restlessly. She wanted to find out what it was, and what sort of danger the herd may be in, but she couldn't leave, she had not only the herd to watch out for but her three foals as well. She spotted a flicker of red and blue darting across the clearing heading towards the forest, Kanti!
Moki was startled by all the noise. He didn't like it, and not to mention it was bothering his mother. She kept pacing around and around and he was having trouble trying to keep up with her. He was afraid of the trembles that the earth gave and stayed close to her, not daring to venture out towards the noise.
Kanti heard the noise and was curious. What on earth could be creating such a racket. Her beads trembled as the ground shook from the noise. She was slightly startled by it. She knew of nothing that could create such a loud and awful racket. Maybe it was those new people that had reached the land. She had heard other soquilis, as well as the villagers talking about new visitors, pale ones coming to the land but Kanti had yet to see one. She continued closer until the trees started to thin out. She apporaced with even more care than before. She caught a glimpse of a pale human before she say Hok'ee and hearing the loud KABOOM!
