I dont know. I dont really do much involving romance anymore, and I dont really manage to get in many romance RPs now. But I suppose it's shounen-ai, yin-yang and the sort in Kevin Smith films. Romance for the geek generation.

I like the hate-to-love, where something happens that rubs them the wrong way and they can't stand the other person, but then something forces them into spending time together..it's all that passion.
I also like the just friends thing that blossoms into something else...being as how I am crushing hard on one of my guy friends, I am holding this one really close right now.....and all of my lovely rational thought left the building when my head entered the clouds....
Personally, I think fairytale romances are over-rated, but I love Beauty and the Beast....*sigh* now I'm rambling.....Oh, the point: My favourite romance novels are usually paranormal romances--sometimes they seem more likely than the historicals....
