Strangely, Danruk was really just a random selection of letters and phonetic sounds that seemed to go together pretty uniquely for some reason.
I used the name in a short story that I wrote a long while ago, and never really did get to finish, or probably ever will finish at this point.
But the name always stuck with me as sort of neat.
So when I had to name my kangaroo character when I first created him in 1994, I thought a perfect opportunity to recycle the name, as I alwasy did have a sort of neat fascination with it, too intriguing to just let it go to waste.
Just this past January 2005, a relatively new friend who has a talent for languages pointed out an Australian Aboriginal tribe. Though they still exist in a contemporary fashion, and still do some of the old tribal traditions, their language is a 'dead language' effectively. Naturally, being an Australian Aborignal tribe one would assume they had close contact with kangaroos. (Of which, Of course, I am one!)
The name of this Aussie Aboriginal tribe? -- Dha'ruk.
Not JUST coincidence, in my book.

Queen- as in im am the leader, the ruler, the one who owns all

Monkey- as in the furry thing that goes oo oo aa aa. it has a tail.

Yeah...this username sprouted because so people know who I am on this account, it has to have Polar in it...so then I put Polaroid since I'm weird so I'm like an alien at school...but that name was taken.(by someone who had, like, four posts) so I put in brackets. Yeah...

Plain Jane is my pen name. ( A made-up name hiding the real idently of a auther or artest..) yea I've had Plain Jane for three years now..
