She isn't on the staff because she never got a job there. Doesn't work for him. Barely knows who he is.
Dr. Moreau might be a powerful scientific force, but a lot of that research is underground, and as such he doesn't have a total monopoly on the scientific community. If every scientist in the world is working for him, what's the point of conducting his research on an island?

Needing to make some changes again.
I'm not totally overhauling the character one more time, but I want to try and make her a wee less grating.
The high intelligence thing is going to stay, which is definitely going to piss some people off. But she's not going to be a scientific powerhouse anymore, and still be in college on an abroad study or internship.

*gonk'd* Oh god, Janatoli would be, like... awkwardness so dense that you could see it. XD The guy seems more fond of women with sex drive, anyway. Janice has none and would have even less as a nautilus.
I hope I didn't make her too Anatoli-ish. I'm a bit worried about that. XD;
The "hair" thing was constructed by Baneful- I think it would be pretty fun. But I'm glad you approve of the chara! ;3 It took nearly six months, but I'm finally happy with her.

I've been doing some revisions for the past... howeverlong.
For the serum gone wrong contest, I had a bluebird in mind, but now that I think more and more about it, just plain questing for it seems more and more appealing. D: If you folks out there could at least vote in the poll and help me out, that would be lovely.
