"I don't know about that dolce." He said with a small smile. "I'm pretty happy. I've got the beach, space to paint, friends and a beautiful girl." He smiled again and kissed the top of her head.
"Do I need any more?" He asked leaning his head back against the rock again and closing his eyes.

Israel pulled herself up and slipped her arms around his neck.
"I can think of two things," she replied, her lips barely brushing his. She closed her eyes and slowly pressed her lips against his. The kiss was soft at first, but her arms tightened around him and she slipped a hand up into his soft hair as she deepened it. Kissing him was not like kissing anybody else, she realized. But she couldn't put her finger on it right then as she was getting lost in the feel of his lips on hers.

Giani raised his eyebrows as she kissed him and held her close, matching her intensity. Slowly he slid his hand down her back to her waist and squeezed her hip lightly. Breaking away he smiled against her lips and looked up into her eyes.
"Two?" He questioned, grinning.

"Two," she smiled, a teasing glint in her eyes as she nibbled lightly on his lower lip. "A hot fudge brownie sundae," she grinned. She looked up into his eyes for a long moment, then kissed him softly and looked down at her ankle.
"Do you think I ought to try to walk on it now?" she asked.

Giani laughed at the second thing and looked down at her ankle.
"We can try." He said with a smile. "Then, if you cannot walk on it I will have to carry you."
Shifting he put her arm around his neck and moved to sit next to her.
"Ready?" He said, starting to stand up.

Israel held onto him tightly as they rose up to their feet. Pulling slightly away from him, she took a timid step and winced at the sharp pain in her ankle.
"Skata," she muttered darkly, and reached out to grab his shoulder, then blushed. "Sorry," she sighed looking up into his brown eyes.

As she stepped away Giani grabbed her shoe and sock. At her curse he smiled down to her.
"Looks like I will have to carry you." He said sweeping her up into his arms bridal style. "How does this sound?" He said as he carried her up the beach. "I drop you back at your room so you can get comfortable and I bring you a chocolate fudge sunday to help you feel better?"

"I think you spoil me," she replied, as she relaxed in his arms. She draped one arm loosely over his shoulder and watched the waves get farther as they moved closer to the parking lot. She looked up at him and smiled.
"What on earth did I ever do to deserve you?" she asked.

"I don't know dolce." He smirked setting her on the back of the bike and handing her one of the helmets. "You must have been very bad in a past life."
He laughed and climbed onto the bike, put his helmet on and kicked the bike into action. It didn't take too long speeding down the country roads for them to get back to Aquila. Giani carried her all the way up to her room and placed her on her bed.
"I will be back in ten minutes." He said, dashing back out of the room.

Stretched out on her bed, she watched him leave, almost sad even though she knew he would be right back. She fluffed her pillows and set them up so she could lean against the headboard comfortably. It wasn't long though before her eyes began to droop. She hoped he would come back soon, she thought with a yawn.

"Hey, no sleeping." He said coming in carrying a box and nudging the door shut. He sat down next to her on the bed and opened the box up to reveal a plastic tub full of her favourite ice cream. "Voila." He said in a fake french accent. He placed it on her legs and took out two plastic spoons, handing her one he took the plastic lid off and smiled. "Dig in dolce. Last one to the bottom is a loser."

Opening her eyes wide again, she pushed herself up as he closed her door. She smiled as he revealed the promised dessert and took one of the spoons from him.
"You're on," she grinned and started to eat. After putting in a small dent, she looked up at him.
"When's the last time you saw your father?" she asked, reaching down to get another spoonful.

Giani finished his mouthful and looked at her, questioning.
"Just before I arrived about a month ago." He said with a smile. "I stayed at his apartment before coming here. Though he was working for most of the time."
He took another mouthful of ice cream and looked up at her.
"Why do you aske dolce?" He said, hoping she was not feeling sad again.

"I was just curious. I know that he's working nearby, but you never talk about seeing him. I guess it's just because he's working so much then?" she asked, taking another bite. "When do you think you'll get to see him again?"

Giani shrugged, it wasn't a good idea to disturb him when he was working. Especially if things were not going as planned.
"We talk often, if it is a good time for me to go and visit he will ask me." He ate some more Sundae and smiled at her.
"Next time I go, will you come with me?" He asked digging back in again.
