Charles looked out from behind the tree saying ,"Is the bloody thing gone?!" Seeing it was dead, He got up- the cross bow was loaded but he hadn't had time to shoot it. Sighing, he said, "Stupid wolves, I hate dogs anyway." He took out a tapestry blanket and laid it on the ground, than fell on it immediately and said ," Enough of this nonsense, I'm going to sleep.."

Ecks clapped his ears with his hands almost screaming at the sound of the scream himself. He ran far from the banshees location, until he was in sight of Vendrel, Than he took out the horn and blew into it with all his strength. Running down into the town, Ecks screamed to the locals about a horrible woman with pale skin and souless eyes. The people gathered around both frightened and interested in what he had to say.

she floated high above the now burning village she had destroyed when she herd the sound of a horn. " humans.." her blood red lips parted into a smile. she instantly droped to the ground and began reviving the dead bodies. " live...let the power of the rock revive you and fill your epmty bodies" she walked on the ground down the trail. each step she took made the grass beneith her feet turn black and die. the once brilliant flowers lost their petals and turned to ash. " come my dead..soon we shall feast" the zombie men and women walked behind her. their broken jaws snaped like wild animals and their torwn flesh riped when they walked. " let me guid you all to the rock...we shall gain strenght before we battle.."

Charles grumbled a bit than fell into a deep sleep. He rolled over once or twice to find a more comfortable position. But than he was fast gone. He didn't snore, but he talked in his sleep.


Ecks stood among a bunch of armed villagers who were to be sent out to check the nearby village that Ecks had been too. They only took a quarter of the small amount of weapons in the towns armory. As they left, the leader of the band- Gilmore told Ecks to tell the Blacksmiths to make as many weapons as they could instead of the usual horseshoes and farm tools. Than they were off heading into the burning village nearby.

The thing she had hit was Vincent's blade sticking right in the ground, he was sitting up watching the dying embers of the fire. He didn't look over at her as she sat but but merely said, "Milady...Do you believe in life after death? Do you believe that if a task in this world was not completed, that you may come back to finish it as a spirit? I guess I am asking...Do you believe in ghosts?" He said as he sat one leg up his knee in the air and the other straight out, hiss arms folded looking very serious at the fire in front of him.

Vincent picked up a stick and started proding the fire with it saying, "There is a legend...Of a creature, a spiritual being...It is a mysterious monsterosity which, happens to appear around the event that occured in those farmlands...I don't know if it is true...But, the creature is called...A Banshee..." He looked up at her his eyes dimly lit by the fire as he said, "I believe we may be chasing a ghost..."

Vincent looked back over at the fire and said, "An island off the coast of Mercia ((Britain)) called Ireland...According to their mythology the land is frought with the restless spirits. They are apparently the spirits of woman who have died when under extreme stress or malice...Their scream prophecises death...If you are to hear the scream of a Banshee, then either you or someone you know will die that night..." He said while having an emotionless face about him, no feelings it looked like.

Vincent nodded and said, "Yes...You have read me like a book...I was married, for a time...My wife was from Spain, her name was Maria...And then, on the night of the birth of our first born child, I heard the scream, and Maria died in childbirth...As did my firstborn son...After that, I became a mercenary...But my true purpose was hunting down and destroying those beings...They don't deserve to exist..." He said with cold eyes looking into the flames.
