inuyashaluver631 AkaFuji A whole bunch of people seem to think that Inuyasha's dad's first love was Inuyasha's mom, but it wasn't. I mean, don't forget poor Sessy! The furry boa he has around his arm is the same fur that his mom had... OMG! really?! i thought it was from dad! how do u know this!? what she look like?! she's REALLY pretty like i mean really.........i think u can see a pic of her in te sessy's mom topic thing. o yea and i agree inuyasha and kagome go good together except the annoying thing is they wont admit it even tho they've kissed like a bunch of times......................

They NEVER say Inuyasha's age in the Manga or the Show though I guess you know hes been alive for at least 50+ years.

I'm really late coming to this thread but...
Yes, Kagome and Inuyasha make a good couple. I'd go so far as to say they're my favorite couple ever. But that's because I'm not limited to the anime. In the anime they've made a few really bad changes. Don't get me wrong, I like the anime. But it gives some people the wrong impression about things. A lot of times Inuyasha is MEAN where he should be more civilized. Kagome has had a major effect on him, and it's much more obvious in the manga than the anime. He's not always such a JERK. And he's not nearly as dumb OR Kikyou-obsessed. And Kagome does NOT use the 'sit' command NEARLY as often. It probably has to be that way though, because they need more material. And I haven't read /all/ the manga's. I'm on about thirty, so I need to read the rest. ^^"
Anyway. The attitude problems Inuyasha has are called "defense mechanisms" and they don't make him a bad person. He's a good guy, and he can be really sweet. And he doesn't have to be badly injured to be.
That's what I think anyway, from what I've read of the manga. @_@ And I try really hard not to be influenced by all the fanfictions I read. The characters aren't always portrayed positively in them.
ANYWAY. He and Kagome are really sweet and really romantic together and I believe their relationship is (can be) really strong. Rumiko has set it up just right for it to be.
