Tail swishing, Demyx happily nibbled upon the treat until it was gone. That finished, he went back to looking around Luxord's room.

 There are a few tables around the room. One by the door, one by a window, bookcases linning the entirety of one wall. The large couch sitting on a rather large rug, coffee table infront of that.
Luxord had found the room like it was and had decided it suited him perfectly

Glancing at Luxord, trying to read him to make sure he wouldn't be annoyed with his exploring, Demyx slowly walked around the room to better examine it's contents.
He stopped at the bookcases, looking over what books lined the shelves.
"Whoa...lotsa books..."
Looking a moment longer, Demyx finished his trip around the room and ended back up in front of Luxord.

"I like them" He had a feeling they had a more intresting importance once but he couldnt remember.
Walking over to the couch he waved his hand at the plate of cupcakes still left out. "If you want another you are more than welcome to have it." He sat down and pulled his cards out once again

Demyx took another cupcake, nibbling on the treat as he followed Luxord to the couch. He didn't sit however, just standing nearby and watching Luxord as he nibbled on the cupcake.

Demyx plopped down on the couch rather close to Luxord. That way he could watch what the older blonde was doing. Green eyes studied the deck, Demyx still nibbling on the cupcake.
"Whatcha doin?"

He stopped shuffling and fanned the cards out. "Shuffling...pick a card." He held them out. "Dont tell me what it is"
It shoudl be easy to pick out the card in the others hand. It was HIS deck after all

Demyx gave his typical silly grin and picked a card from the deck, holding it up so he could examine it. Hrm...a card with a 10 on it, and lotsa hearts. Interesting.
Yeah he wasn't too good with his cards either. Oh well, he'd certainly learn with Luxord as a friend.

He tilted his head and though for a moment. A grin slid across his face. "Ten of hearts"

Demyx handed the card over to Luxord, head tilting slightly as he pondered just how the gambler could have guessed it.

"Lady Luck smiles on me." He took the card and shuffled it back into the deck.
"Jack of spades." He pulled a card randomly from the deck and showed said jack to Demyx.

He stuck the Jack back in the deck and pulled out his favorite card. "The suicide King." He grinned."
It was amusing thta Demyx found his cards entertaining.

Truth be told Demyx would have found anything entertaining at this point, so long as Luxord was paying him the attention he so desperately craved.
