Jazz shook her head. "Hey, it was only a joke. Though, I do want to know you more. Do you lead pretty girls to scary places often?' She winked at him with a smile. She hoped she hadn't hurt his feelings. Jazz joked a bit too much some times.

At that he couldn't help but smile, shaking his head. "No, you would be the first and hopefully the last. And do you always tag-along with unsuspecting males onto adventures?"

"Well, let me think..." Jazz thought about what Raken said for a moment. "Nope. I rarely leave the beach and my home. The most, before this, was when I went on my quest." She giggled a bit and ate the rest of her breakfast. "I guess this was new for both of us." She winked.

"Lets just hope that this was the last." sweatdrop He glanced at his bandages, little bloches of crimson pocking through.

Jazz nodded. "Yes, I guess that is ture. It might be nice to do something a bit more safe with you. Like singing for ya or something." Jazz looked at him with a nod. It was an adventure to say the least.

He shook his head. He had quite enough to do with nature. "From now on, I think I'll stick to my books. They never tried to eat me." sweatdrop

Jazz chuckled. "So no going to the beach or anything? I guess a big fish might try to eat us there. Though, it's always pretty peaceful when I'm there."

Jazz sat up and looked around. The faes were leaving them alone it seemed. "Books are nice. I've read a few. Mostly about my power and my son's blindness."

"beach? If I ever went into the water I would probably drown. Tristen for some reason knows how to swim though. Try him." At the thought of his younger brother he had to wonder what he was up to. It seemed like it had been ages since he saw any of his family. "And there are so many books out there...each filled with knowladge different from the last..."That was actually lingering quite close to why he wanted to be an elder.

Jazz fowned a bit and said, "Oh. Well, the beach is still fun without going into the water." She didn't mean to make him mad or anything. Plus, she didn't want to go with Raken's brother she was having fun, even if scary, time with him.

"Yeah, I guess that is true." Jazz liked books from time to time. When she was sunbathing or hanging out in the hammock. Sometimes with her waitressing and singing she didn't have time for things like that.

He shrugged lightly. "It may be fun once in a while I suppose. Sometimes even I get tired of reading...when I actually have enough time to do it." Oh, this demonic pae remembered well the days where he had to take care of not one, not two, but three pae all at the same time.

Jazz giggled. "Maybe that is why we had our little adventure? So that both of us could get out of our ruts and have some fun...even if it wasn't really that much fun more like scary." Jazz shurgged and got up.

"So how are your wounds? Up for moving and doing something?"

"If that was fun then I'll stick to being busy any day." He said dryly. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he was actually growing...comfortable with Jazz. nothing like sharing a life or death experiance with someone to break down a anti-social wall. Slowly he put his feet onto the ground and stood. "I think so....just no more shadow conjuring." sweatdrop

Jazz nodded. "Yeah, and no astral projecting for me. Unless I want to be passed out for the rest of today." Which she really didn't want to be.

Jazz headed for the door. "So, where is it nice, safe and peaceful? The HQ or somewhere?" She was safe on her beach, but that was just her and her beach bum family.

He shook his head, slowly following her out and trying not to wince. "You pick. I had sent us against a giant squirrel." That still got him. How...pathetic sweatdrop

Jazz walked out of the Houses of Healing and thought about it. "Hum... well I think the clearning is pretty safe. The animals there like my singing. Still there are animals there. I don't think any are as large as that, though." Jazz wasn't sure how they happened to run into that creature of all things, but it was past. They had survived.
