Rinel_Underwood Ritska was just about to reach for some of the bacon strips to take before she left, when she heard the cook walking out of the pantry. "Oy, what happened to all me food?" The cook said kind of loudly in surprise as he saw the now cleared preparation table, dropping a bag of potatoes at his feet. Uh-oh, time for her to get outta here. Ritska hesitates, glancing between the the bacon and the cook as he walks closer, then back to the bacon. She knew it was stupid, what she did next, but she did it anyways. She was a fox demon, she couldn't resist any type of meat. Ritska quickly swipes up a handful of strips, wincing as the hot tray burns her hand, then turns and starts to run for the door as the cook begins to shout. He didn't know what was going on, other than the fact that he'd just seen about six strips of bacon up and vanish right in front of his face and was now hearing footsteps. Actually, it was kinda funny as he started to shout on and on about a ghost stealing his bacon. Ritska lets out a laugh as she reaches the door outside and yanks up open, then rushes through to freedom, thinking how easy that had just been. as ritska runs through the doors she sees that raistlin, who was following kenshin, was right outside. the way he glances in her direction it was obvious that he knew she was there and what she was doing, but he continued on following kenshin and acting as if he hadn't seen a thing.

Upon sighting Raistlin, Ritska freezes outside of the kitchen, the color instantly draining from her face. Even though she was invisible, she knew he could see her. And, because of that, she was certain he'd come over and say something, make her return the food... but he just looked at her, then kept going. Ritska watches him walk away with another man, then turns and rushes around the corner. Dropping her illusion spell, she then sits down on the ground and puts her back to the wall, trying to catch her breath as she clenches her bag to her side in one hand and holds the bacon in the other. After a moment, she calms down, though, and looks around. Nobody else had followed or noticed her. Sighing in relief, she then starts munching on the bacon she'd taken while thinking about what had just happened. She couldn't begin to fathom why he'd just let her get away like that.

Kenshin finally gets to his table, silently sitting down. Servants rush frantically to prepare the table for him, setting napkins and silverware. Kenshin, who'd not eaten in a while, seemed quite irked that they were taking so long. Kenshin shoots a glance to Raistlin, a look take told him to take a seat in the opposite chair.

Meta came walking around a corner holding a empty bowl and spoon in his hand while humming a tune to himself. As he rounded the second corner he noticied Ritska standing there munching on a bacon strip. Walking up to her quietly Meta tapped her on the shoulder. "So did you all of a sudden change your mind on staying here?" Meta questioned in his light tone. It was quite odd to see the same person who had just left.

Finaly he spoke, "Has that sword been getting any lighter since your training?" he said, as the servants brought out a steaming but bloody plate of rare-cooked meat and sharp knife. Raisltin jumped slightly in his seat as Kenshin broke the tension. "A little bit at a time, and very slowly. I have been training everyday since given the sword in hopes that i can be as quick with a sword as you are my lord. I envey the way that you can use your yokai powers and your skills with your sword." he noted tilting his head slightly in a respectful motion towards his master.

((Time flows so oddly in this guild… I had meant for this to be the next morning, taking time after the sea posts… but well, then there was Kenshin present here, and that thing happened two weeks ago…. And, I dunno any more XP )) Ritska practically jumps out of her skin in surprise, dropping the last strip of bacon in the grass. Muttering a curse, she looks down at it, then quickly looks up again. It was Meta. Ritska lets out an almost annoyed sigh that she hadn’t heard him sooner and that she’d jumped so easily, then brushes off the bacon crumbs from her hands and clothes as she thinks of how to answer. She had to admit, of all the places she’d been to, this place was possibly the most beautiful, and sheltered place she’d been to… she assumed that must be why it was called the Haven. Still, it really didn’t feel like she’d belong here, even if she almost wanted to. True, the two people she had met had been accepting and kind… but still, it didn’t seem possible for her to go from being a thief breaking into this place to living here… nor did it feel like a commoner kitsune such as her herself could live amongst rich vampires. Even if she could, she had no money. How would she pay for a room here, or food, or anything else she might need? Ritska frowns slightly, her ears flicking back, then shakes her head. ”No, I’m er… just getting some food for the road before I leave.” She explains as she stands up and shrugs, briefly lifting her bag filled with supplies to show what she meant. Ritska then lowers the bag and glances away briefly, then back to him again, wondering what he might say. Technically, she was stealing again.

Kenshin's eyes narrowed as he pondered to himself. "Hm...", Kenshin grunted, seeming to acknowledge Raistlin's compliment the only way he could. Kenshin picked up a fork and the steak knife and began to slice the meat, continuing to talk. "Perhaps it's time I teach you the power output trick... putting power into your weapon, and unleashing it's second power level."

Kenshin was silent for a moment, thinking about things as he always did. He was such an unpredictable person, but that was just him. "I'll think about it," he said, finally sticking a slice of the tender meat down his throat. Another servant brought remedial hot blood to the table, bowing and asking Raistlin if he wanted anything. "Master Raistlin, would you care for any of the courses or just a drink?"

Finishing responding to the waiter he turned back to Kenshin with the smile vanishing left with a blank stare. Then bowing his head yet again to Kenshin,"I would greatly appreciate it, I had felt a strange force emmiting from my sword the more I trained with it. However, I hadn't imagined it had an entirely second level to it."

"Then I suggest you continue training with it until it feels like your old katana, light and quick. Because when I release that weight, the sword will become a whole new weapon in and of itself. It will become so light that it will overpower your strength, and you'll have to learn the feel again. You should know by now, swinging a dagger is different than a claymore. Stance and balance is key, and with the weight on that sword, you cannot practice sword technique correctly. Right now, you're merely swinging that sword around wildly, gaining muscular strength in your arms and back. I suggest bench-pressing the sword until it feels like a 5-pound weight as opposed to a 50-pound." Kenshin explained, with a stern look on his face.

Nodding his head,"I understand, I'll start training on lifting the sword itself." Raistlin had never thought of doing it that way. He figured that if he'd practice swinging it that the sword would feel lighter.

Kenshin chewed and swallowed a couple more slices i silence, before going on. This time, a small smirk came across his face, his eyes narrowing. "I'll give you 4 weeks to master that swords weight. If you've succeeded....then...I'll show you the level 2 unleasing method, and how to output power into the weapon."
