Hikaru wondered why Alex seemed to get all choked up for a second, and made a mental note to ask her about it later on. For now, though, it seemed like a better idea to encourage the fun rather than try to talk about something potentially depressing. She squeezed her friend's shoulder, smiling, and hopped into the ride car next to her.
"I'm not scared of a little fire! Bring it on!" she yelled loudly to the ride operators. They were just trying to freak people out. There was no way they were actually going to burn the passengers on the ride.

Hiro nodded towards Tekishe as Terry introduce him and Yuki and grinned towards the younger male. "Hey, nice to meet ya." He turned to watch another ride shoot past, eyes full of longing. He bounced lightly on his feet in anticipation, but made sure to keep his wings folded agianst his back so he wouldn't knock out a helpless member of the crowd.
Yuki nodded towards Tekishe with a faint blush in her pale cheeks, but managed a smile as well. "Nice to meet you..." she murmured quietly.
The pair followed Terry around the park, watching as they all partook in the rides. Yuki's eyes were wide in fear, Hiro's wide in longing to ride. They both listened intently as Terry explained various things around the park, both absolutely amazed by what they saw. It was almost overwhelming!
As They followed Terry to the "Utlimate Demon Drop", both their eyes settled on the flames he pointed out. Yuki flinched back slightly, but was stopped as Hiro grabbed her hand. He laughed, shaking his head. "That's nothing!" he cried happily. His smile faded just for an instant at the talk of the other's parents, but he quickly pushed it away. Yuki noted though, and blushed again as she squeezed his hand gently. Hiro pretended not to notice.
Instead, the male turned towards Tekishe, wondering if he'd be invited to ride or not. And, if he was, he'd make sure to drag Yuki along. He grinned to himself at the thought, tightening his hold on her hand just slightly.

Noticing the new poeple staring at him, Tekishe invitied them past the small lizard standing guard. "You guys are welcome wherever I go! Friends forever!" He was then told to sit down by the demonic ride operator, whose suphur tinged breath made sure to site Tekishe back in his seat.

Terry took a middle left seat, between Alex and Tekishe. He waved to Yuki and Hiro as the bars came down and the seats went up. At first the seats climbed slowly, and then, after about 20 feet, shot to the top like a bullet. Riders bounced a little in their seats but were treated to a breath taking view of the park. The only rides higher were the ferris wheels and the top most point of the roller coasters.
"This is kind of nea--" Terry really needed to learn not to start sentences when he was on a ride. He never managed to finish them.
The cars dropped to the the earth at break neck speeds, hurtling towards the ground. Terry waited for the hydrolics to kick in and the cars to slow, but instead he heard the mechanical cranking of gears as the gates below the riders opened, flames shooting up.
The car was plunged into a fire filled pit. The air was hot as a sauna, and the flames came close, but they were pushed away by the balloon of air surrounding the speeding car. A dip in the track revealed more to the ride than a simple up and down journey.
In fact, the ULTIMATE DEMON DROP was apparently also a haunted castle type ride. Anamatronic demons jumping out from around corners and holographic flames covering the passengers as they rode through.
[No problem Spazz!]

Max was happy. He knew that soon she would stop acting so embarassed, but he like the way she was right now. She had a certain... charm. The kind a little girl has when they are at a party or meeting someone important. The cute kind of: I'm-embarassed-and-shy-but-I-want-to-be-polite kind of attitude.
"S-Sure! T-That s-s-sounds l-like fun! W-Would G-Gordon l-l-like to join u-us?"
She sounded happy about going on the Merry-go-Round, but didn't want to leave out Gordon. A good way to treat some new people. Max smiled. He was starting to get less shy around Makie, but still was slightly unsure of himself around Misty. Misty was the type to cross her arms, pout and look away when someone like Makie does something embarrassing or stupid. The type of best friend would be in a book or something. The reluctant best friend who still gets sucked into all the excitement.
"W-We're going t-to h-have soo much f-fun! L-L_Last one t-ther is a rotten e-egg!"
Max smiled again, this time a big, wide toothy grin. It was his first time being truly excited at Ria. For some reason, this comment seemed like the end of a movie or an episode of some show. Something that ended and you had to wait a week or a month to find out what happened next. Luckily, it was real life, so he didn't have to wait. Everything happened as it happened. He chased aftter Makie, not even waiting for Gordon or Misty. But he didn't mind, even if he did look like an idiot. It was an amusement park! He was supposed to have fun, even if he looked like a huge stupid idiot when no one knew him but Makie, Misty and the others he had met that probably weren't there anyway.

Hikaru threw her hands in the air, screaming loudly with excitement as the ride plunged down through the flaming pit beneath them. Expecting the ride to end right there, she was surprised when it kept going. So surprised, in fact, that she yelped in genuine terror when the first robotic demon jumped out at them, grabbing at Alex's arm instinctively. Once she got into the rhythm of the ride, though, she was laughing and yelling and having a great time.
"THIS IS AWESOME!"

Hiro nodded enthusiastically at Tekishe's words, replying before Yuki could stop him. "Yes, we'd love to ride!" he began, starting to take a step forward. But he froze as the saw the bars slam down, and Terry wave goodbye. Hiro's face rose, following the ride with an almost mournful look on his face. "....missed it," he sulked.
Yuki breathed a sigh of relief, face still red as Hiro hadn't let go of her hand yet. She slowly began inching it away until it finally slipped from his grasp, and she took a step back from the ride, crying to see the top. Her hands flew over her face as it plummeted down to the earth, and she cringed even though she wasn't actually on it. Her eyes remained wide even after it'd disappeared beneath the ground. She winced as the sounds of screaming drifted up to her sensitive ears, jumping as an arm placed itself around her.
Hiro grinned at her eagerly. "We are definitely riding that," he said. Yuki stared at him in pure terror.

The ride twisted, turned, dipped deeper below the ground, and eventually popped up at the other end of the park, so those waiting in line wouldn't know the secret. Terry found himself stumbling off of the ride again, but happily stumbling, a big silly grin plastered on his face. "What next? What next?" He looked around, saw that they had been seperated from Hiro and Yuki, and frowned. "Lets walk around a little. See if we can't find them again."

Gordon ran after the two of them leaving Misty behind. He purposely left him self behind the two of them knowing he could run faster but rather enjoy the run there. He started thinking about what Makie said. He had been told that many times by many people. But he believed in old Echani writings. When you gfight with someone you learn about them. You se there anger pain and sadness. Heck it is said you might even find love. Gordon had tested this style and he saw it worked.
By the way a person fought you could tell many things about them and the same for you. When you fight you open a window into your soul. And thats what Gordon belived. He didn'ty like to fight as in to hurt people but rather for sport and fun. This is why he never killed a person even if they themselves had wanted to kill him.

Hiro smirked faintly at Yuki's face and gently tightened his hold around the female's shoulders so she couldn't dart away. He looked up, seeing the ride ready and waiting for more passengers. "What a way to start," he laughed as he approached the demon Tekishe and the others had spoken to. "Uh, I'm a friend of Tekishe's...?" he asked uncertainly.
He was regarded for a moment and then slowly let through.
"Alright, thanks!" Hiro cheered as he walked up to the ride, marching a practically trembling Yuki before him. He pushed her gently into the seat before he slid in next to her, slamming the bar down over them before she could scramble away. He had to tuck his wings in tightly so he could fit. He flinched as Yuki whimpered and grabbed her hand, smiling comfortly. "Don't worry. I'm right here, ok?" he said soothingly.
Yuki stared at him for a moment and then swallowed nervously. "O-ok..." Her eyes went wide as the ride began moving slowly upwards. Her grip tightened almost painfully on Hiro's hand, but he didn't try to dislodge it. If he was forcing her on, he'd deal with comforting her, even if it hurt him in the process.
She screamed as the ride suddenly shot upwards and bowed her head, eyes closed. Hiro was staring around excitedly, completely unaffected. It was just like flying, except he was locked in place. He stared around at the scenery, prodding Yuki's side until she finally raised her head. As she did, her breath caught in her throat as she realized just how high they were. She shivered violently to herself and shut her eyes tightly again.
Then came the sudden, heart stopping plunge of doom. She screamed, high and shrill, probably the loudest noise the quiet girl had made in her life. Hiro actually winced as it pierced through his head, but his laughing nearly drowned it out. He was having the time of his life! He was surprised though, when the ride decided not to slow. For an instant, he thought of breaking free and flying to safety, but he was soon glad he decided not too as they sunk underground and near the flames.
He laughed happily again, watching as the dragon's and other things shot out at them. Dragons weren't very uncommon back at Yuki's home where he'd lived almost half of his life, so he didn't find them scary at all. And, considering Yuki was a demon and he himself was rumored as being half so, the demons weren't a problem for him either. But Yuki was still shaking from the drop.
Hiro wrapped his arm around her shoulder, squeezing gently as the holographic flames engulfed them. Hiro stared around excitedly the entire time, comforting Yuki constantly as well. When they finally stopped, she was shaking so badly he had to haul her from the seat himself. Then he practically dragged her to the nearest wall or fence and leaned her against it so she could catch her breath.
She looked up slowly after a moment, still breathing hard. "That..." she began, voice almost trembling. "Was the most horrible thing ever."
"What are you talking about?" Hiro cried, patting her back gently. "It was great!"
Yuki sighed, then straightened herself. "Rides that drop you, are the worst thing in the world." Her eyes flicked towards the rollarcoaster as he sped past. "That," she said quietly, nodding towards it. "Is something I might actually enjoy." Her pointed ear twitched very slightly as she heard a familiar voice calling out 'new people!'. She looked around, eyes scanning the crowd but recognizing no one.
[Fwaa... that was long. xP And that's alright. I'll see ya'll tomorrow?]

Makie waited in line, even though there was hardly any line at all... Her chocolate eyes wandered from the Merry-Go-Round, to the people in the front, and finally behind her, looking to see if Max, Gordon and Misty was there. The girl knew her older friend would take her own sweet time, walking as slowly as possible to get to the ride. Heck, if Makie was actually with Ai, or Joy, or Tiffy, or people Misty could trust, the midnight haired woman would not be there at the Amusement Park. Never. Not in a million years. Wouldn't happen. But, hey, you never know, maybe Misty was secretly yearning to have fun... Probably not.
That's when Makie wondered something. What if she got lost and her new friends, Max and Gordon, along with Misty, couldn't find her!? The brunette was pretty short... Actually she looked as if she was 9 or 10. Seriously. What if they couldn't see her!? What if she got lost and couldn't find her way back until it was super duper late and every one was gone!? What if she had to walk home in the dark!? SHE WAS DOOMED!!! DOOOMED!!!
That's when something hit her. No. Really. Something hit her. A person, knocked her down, and nearly stepped on her. 'Meanie heads... Maybe they didn't see me! I'll just ask them why they banged into me.' Makie thought to heself, getting up, and dusting off her mini skirt, and fixing her out fit. Then, the girl poked the person, trying to get their attention. It didn't work. Plan B. Asking them.
"E-E-Excuse me...?" Makie began, looking up at the taller student. "E-Excuse m-me?" No success. Gah! How rude! But Makie wouldn't do anything about it. In her mind, it was her fault for spacing out and not moving up in line. Pouting her lower lip slightly, she moved her toes about in her hiking boots, feeling a bit upset that some one skipped. I mean, she was short, but COME ON! When you hit something, or rather knock something down, you usually can feel their body, so it wasn't like she was totally INVISIBLE. Geez...
That's when Max came. She smiled shyly, blushing, but not looking down. She thought she would start the conversation, wondering where Gordon and Misty were. But they were probably coming in their own pace. "H-H-Hi. S-Some one s-sk-skipped me, but... I-It d-doesn't m-matter s-since n-now we're l-lined u-up together. T-There'll b-be more c-chance t-that w-we'll get o-on the ride t-together." The girl said, looking on the bright side of things. Then her cocolate eyes gazed up to the front. Not too long now. They would soon be able to get on the ride!
"O-Oh! I-It's n-nearly t-time for u-us t-to go on the ride!" Makie announced in a normal small voice, clapping her hands together her again. "I-I'm so excited!"
It would be strange to see a high school... Yes, Makie was fifteen and indeed supposed to be in high school. She's short, and she looks like she was in Grade 5, or 6, but she was indeed supposed to be in high school. Anyways, it's normally strange to see a high school student obsessing over a Merry-Go-Round, but she's never ridden on one before, so she as excited. And Makie was a child at heart, so she enjoys childish stuff like going to Amusement Parks, and picking flowers, and dancing, and stuff like that.
That's when Gordon came, Makie smiled softly again. Now all that was left was for Misty to come! Then they could all get on the ride together! Everything would be fun and cool, and awesome! Hopefully. "H-Hi Gordon..." She paused for a moent, her innocent eyes scanning the area for Misty. "H-H-Have you seen M-Misty...? W-We're g-going t-to g-get on n-next..." The excitement in her voice faded slightly, a bit upset that all her friends couldn't come. She moved up a bit in line, they were next, so where was Misty?
Biting her lower lip, Makie felt a bit upset. She wouldn't go on if all her friends weren't with her. Even if Misty was taking her own PAINFULLY SLOW time getting to the ride, she could have at least said so, or that she didn't want to ride it. The small girl would feel so much more relieved if she knew she wasn't leaving any of her friends out. That's when she heard a voice.
"Are you getting on the ride or not miss?"
Makie turned around to see that the voice came from the guy running the ride. She slowly nodded. "Ah... Y-Yeah... I-I-I'm getting on..." She said, slowly going over to one of the horses on the Merry-Go-Round. It was a pretty white horse with a dark mane. Before the ride started, she talked to the two boys.
"D-D-Do you kn-know where M-Misty is...? I-I don't w-w-want her t-to miss out o-on the fun..." She stated, her chocolate eyes still looking for her friend. She felt so terrible. She didn't want one of her bestest friends ever to miss out on all the fun and the joy and the excitement.

Max finally caught up to Makie. She was pretty fast for being so small, and Gordon too, but Max had managed to beat him. Now all that was left was to get on the ride. But he was stuck in line.
"O-Oh! I-It's n-nearly t-time for u-us t-to go on the ride!"
"Yup!" he said. he was excited too, it had been so long since he had been on an amusement park ride, let alone a merry-go-round. Sure, he liked riding on roller coasters and on thrill rides better, but it was always nice to ride the Merry-go-round. And besides, it was a merry-go-round in a high school. Most people wouldn't care anyway, and lots of them were very childish anyway. Finally he got on the ride. Makie was a little slow getting on, but Max didn't mind, as long as they wouldn't have to wait another ride to get on.
"D-D-Do you kn-know where M-Misty is...? I-I don't w-w-want her t-to miss out o-on the fun..."
"No, I don't..." said Max. "I'm sorry... when I left she was still standing with Gordon. Then Gordon came up here..." He felt a little sorry for her. They must have been best friends. He rode on a large chestnut brown horse with a black mane and golden eyes. The saddle was ornately decorated too, which was why Max liked the Merry-go-round so much anyway, the saddles and details put into each and every horse. Of course, the horse went up and down. He never liked the ones that stayed in one place. He remembered a time when he was very young and he had accidentally chosen a non-moving horse. He was soooo mad! Later, he rode it again and was sure to pick a moving horse. "I'm sure she'll come sooner or later, or she'll just wait for us to come back..." he said.

" She was right behind me..I hope we didn't leave her to far behind. I'll be right back before you can say flapjack.' Gordon said letting off a red aura. He smiled as he started running actually leaving a trail of dust behind him.
" Oh Misty! MIsty you are wanted at the Merry-go round" Gordon said still running the way they came. It was funny really. People where staring at a short glowing red boy looking for someone. What was even funnier he was looking in garabage cans and under benches.
" Misty come on where going on the ride now!" Gordon yelled getting a bit ticked of. He had never rode a Merry-go round before. Ever in his whole life.
