yay I finally finished reading it all ^.^... -does a hobo dance- yeah anywho... To keep this breif...
I agree with Chloe for the most part. Though it aplys more to Lionel if Lionel is 100% himself and well he's not... After all it's not like Lionel to wait solong before doing something...
I wouldn't put it past Lionel to try something like that, However I doubt petty black mail would work on Clark since he told Lionel, during their little heart to heart, I don't care what you know about me. Stay away from me and my family... well something along that lines...
Lionel is the epitomy of evil... but not this season...

wait what parts do u agree with chloe on? i think that if lionel really want to blackmail clark or go on and tell the world his secret he would of done it by now even though jor-el is doing somthing with his body or controlling him a little bit

Chloes point of view is based on Lionels character in the past seasons... Lionel is the ultimate master manipulator. Which be that the case and I strongly think it's not... Lionel would try to use what information he had to manipulate Clark... But Chloe probubly doesn't realise if he does, it will compromise the relationship Lionel wants to have with Martha...
However as I preveously said that is not the case because Lionel isn't himself and if he where, he wouldn't beable to blackmail Clark so easily...Check out the "would Jon' still of died" thread or something and you'll see where I stand on the whole Lionel thing...

I totally realize that it would compromise his relationship with martha. But what i said is, if it came down to Money, and Power gain from blackmaling Clark, he could black mail Clark in a way where CLark was bound to keep the blackmail secret. ANd if Lionel is anything like Lex, then he will do what he can to keep the life he is living and at the same time making adjustments so that the girl of his dreams is able to love him back.

Well lets say Lionel does blackmail Clark... Clark tells Chloe... Chloe tells Lana... Lana tells Lex... and Lex blackmails Lionel with Jon's death... Makeing him look like he did a favor for Clark, by getting Lionel off Clarks back, and scoring him a few more Lana points stare
Sides Lionel isn't going to blackmail Clark by threatening Martha and I don't think Lionel has enough influence anymore to get Chloe fired from her job... After all since last season he can't very well pay people off as he once did...

I'm sure he wouldn't actually blackmail the Kents... however I do think he would be capable of threatining them of the possibility of blackmail if Clark doesn't do him favors...
Like "steal , or I'm exposing your secret."
Clark & Martha wouldn't know he wouldn't actually do it...

Well ideally Lionel holding Clarks secret over his head would be blackmail enough, but Clark did tell Lionel something along the lines of, I don't care if you try to expose me, stay away from my family... so I doubt Lionel threatening to expose him would be enough for him do as lionel wishes...

Then again Lionel might know about the red K stare and Clark feelings twords Lex expecially since he is with Lana now... Just imagin what Clark might do if Lionel slips him some red k and lets Clark in on what Lex did so that he could have Lana all for himself... Kal would probubly be angry... Lex would be dead... and Lionel would get Luthor Corp back... that is if Lionel tries that...
sounds more like something Lionel would do... well to me it does...

Ony one problem with your whole Clark tells Chloe Chloe tells Lana deal. If the blackmail involves Clark's secret. Chloe would never tell Lana. becase if she told Lana Lana would want to KNOW WHY Clark is being blackmailed. So then Chloe would have to tell Lana. Something Chloe would never so

I'm not saying Clark tells Chloe to walk up to Lana and say, "Hey Lana, Lionel is blackmailing Clark. Can you ask Lex to poke his Lionel a new fluff hole"...
I think out of everyone down the grap vine Lex would want to know what Lionel had and would probubly ask Lionel what it was. Being something to that magnatude of makeing Clark do something illigal, Lana would be the friend to Clark and help him reguardless... Though Lana wouldn't be asking Lex to help Clark, she would be confiding in Lex about what is troubling her...
