*nods* Yea, my school is strict about that... enh... I mean, even with the rules there still has been some pretty bad fights. Last year there was an awful brawl, and some teachers even got hurt, it was chaotic - we ended up going on lock down b/c of a rumored gun or something.
40 degree winters are cold! It doesn't get very cold over here, our winters are tolerable.
Ah, well whenever I'm there it just seems so white. Of course, my judgement probably isn't very good... I mean... the Bay Area lives up to it's name. I love the diversity though. We've got just about everything. I mean, my boyfriend is Chinese, and my best friend is Mexican. That's not even including all the people I hang out with... but yea, I figured there would be a lot of Mexicans over there. And hell yea, Mexican food rocks! It's so weird how back east they have a horrible perception of what Mexican food is.... @_@ It's scary. (Ah well, they have good sea food, so it's okay) Oh and as for the diversity.. that also depends on where on the East Coast you've been, the cities are VERY diverse of course, it's the rest of it that isn't so much. Of course, I haven't been to all the states, so who am I to judge.
"Aite" is the... ghetto way of saying, "Alright." XD; Haha, I wish I had an accent. And I've never heard of most of your slang terms, 'cept of course, "Hey," I say that a lot, but a lot of kids just say, "Eh!" (Instead of Hey,) and "Sup." (I'm too white to do that... o_o) Never heard of 'fails'... although we do say, "You fail at life." XD; And kids say, "Hell no." a lot... which I don't do... b/c believe it or not, I do not cuss at all in real life. ^_^;;

All the bad stuff in my school happens outside of school. We get like two deaths a year from kids being retarded and jumping out of the back of truck and things like that, but within the school itself we tend to get hardly any fights, etc.
Yeah... believe it or not, Arizona does get pretty damn cold in the winter, at least to me. I'm sure it's nothing to the people up in the north-eastern states, but still... the only thing is it never snows here. Ever.
That's cool that your area is so diverse. ^^ I was referring to the cities up east, so yeah... XD;; And I actually don't care for Mexican food because I have a hard time tolerating spicy things... only Mexican food I like are quaesadias (can't spell...), fajitas, and some tacos. I love tortillas, but all the stuff they put into the tortillas is too spicy. XP And yeah, it's funny how easterners freak out at the idea of Mexican food, thinking they eat cats and stuff. XD;;
Oh, I see. I think I might've heard of "aite" now that you've explained it... and you probably do have an accent, but you just don't notice it because so many Americans have the same accent. But we don't say "eh," only "hey." XD;; Sometimes we say "sup" though that's usually if we're trying to sound dorky on purpose. And we say "fails" if something is lame or something. Like if someone says, "So whaddaya think?" then you can reply, "Fails!"

I don't like spicy food either - but not all Mexican food is spicy. Like, I eat the chips without the salsa... stuff like that.
Ah, Quesadillas are my favorite. You didn't take spanish did you? That's probably why I remember how to spell it... (I think that's right? LOL) Taquitos, and enchillatas are very good also!
So I do have an accent? How weird, I guess everybody technically does have one... because everywhere in the world people talk different. I guess I never thought about it like that. I just thought it'd be cool to be Nritish!
Like Bakura...! Sadly, he's not gay... he's just British..

I eat tortilla chips without salsa as well! XD I just put salt on them.
And nope. Living in Arizona, I really should've taken Spanish, but I took German instead. razz What's even worse is that one of my best friend's parents only speak Spanish so... XD;; whoops... I am *not* willing to put up with all the morons who take Spanish though!
...for a second there I was like, "WTF? What's Nritish?" Then I realized it was a typo. XD;; Anyway, we really do all probably have accents. <3

Ahh! I took Spanish! I am not a moron! (I hope...!) My spanish is muy malo though. More like Spanglish... I can't speak full sentences just random words. I often spit out random Spanish and Japanese insults and things like that. I've been saying "Hai" for yes on impulse a lot lately. And people look at me strange... =.=;
Haha, sorry about my typo. I usually proof read before I post. If not, stupid typo's like that appear... o_O Nritish...? XD; I ought to make that into a new word someday.
And yea, Bakura-chan is cute british. Who isn't? <3 And when isn't he cute?

Well of course you're not a moron. rolleyes It's just that at my school, all the idiotic kids (trust me, we have a lot) end up taking Spanish for their "easy" language credits. (even though according to my friend Ray, who is in advanced Spanish and German classes, German is easier) So there's like five different Spanish teachers and only one French and one German teacher. Ratio of morons to reasonable people in German class: 3:1
Ratio of morons to reasonable people in French class: 2:1
Ratio of morons to reasonable people in Spanish class: 17:1
I remember on foreign language day, we teamed up with a bunch of random kids for a scavenger hunt. In my group, I was the only German kid, we had one Frenchie, then like eight Spanish kids. When they asked us what languages we had so they could give us the sheet, the Frenchie didn't speak up so he wouldn't have to do anything, so we only got half-German, half-Spanish on our sheet. Well... I ended up translating all the German... and I ended up translating more Spanish then the eight Spanish kids put together... I know almost no Spanish... that's how retarded they were...
And Nritish is an awsome word. XD

OKAY. Gonna have a tangent moment now:
Ahh! I'm back from Fanime connnn!!
BUT I didn't get to cosplay Malik-sama!! *cries*I can't tell you how upset I am!! Lemme tell you what happened, since you're probably wondering why.
Everything was nearly done... I just had to finish spraypainting everything gold... like the chains, jewlery and Rod... But I had only two days that week off work, and no time to do it. So come my day off (weds.) I started to spray paint stuff and
well.. I ran out of gold! I ran out cause my brother used it all to spray stuff in our garage! O_O; So I begged mah friend to get me gold spray paint at the store by her house cause I was working right after school Thurs and Fri. She bought it and came over Fri. After work we started to finish our costumes, she finished her vest and headband, and I finished up most of the Rod, and the chains. I went to go spray paint everything, and the gold she had bought was defective. We tried everything, but it came out watery and stuff... O___o; It was 10:30 at night, and the store isn't opened! The convention was in the morning and we wouldn't of had time! I tried everything! Then I just started to flip and cry and get really moody cause I spent sooo much money to cosplay and didn't get to.
*sob* That's when I decided we just should go in anime shirts, and perfect our cosplays for next year. That way we can even get colored contacts and I can get a hoodie instead of a regular shirt. We also go to lotsa small conventions and we could use the costumes then. So yea, it was decided last night at 12:00 or so.
This morning we woke up to get ready.... I was still grumpy about the cosplay thing, but y'know the convention was lotsa fun, and I feel better now. =D And I look forward to next year! I think I'm gonna stay all weekend at a hotel or something. It'll be great. =P
When we got there at 10;00 or so, we skipped over to a line to wait to get in. Then someone told us we were in the wrong line, they pointed to another one about the same length. I was like oh well, it's not that bad... I went to step in line and a worker said, "umm, that's not the start of the line..." Then they pointed to a huge crowd of people, 4 huuuuge super long rows of people "That is." I was like: O__o; We were in line to get in for 2 and a half hours! And the line grew as we were in it! It got longer!
BUT yay! The convention roooocked. The food was soo exspensive though. And I hadn't eaten much SO I had to go buy a four dollar hot dawg.
Oo and they had Yuugiou doujinshi! I asked, "Do I need an ID?" and they said, "No. You just need money." I wanted to hug that guy! OF course almost all they had was Pride and a few Puppy... so anyway, I couldn't stand for that. All I bought was one YugixYamixJou. *whines* At least Jou was in it! <3 The art is purdy.
I also bought a few pins, one said "Wanted: Villian with tragic past," another, "Yaoi: Because dreams do come true", and "Yaoi: Cause real boys just don't cut it." Ooo and I bought an I love Yaoi backpack and two keychains, "Searching for an Uke," and another that just said, "SEME" It was niftyyyyy! <3
I didn't see one Yuugiou cosplayer! We would've stood out! But I was wearing a Yuugiou tee and one girl gasped and said, "HOMG! Your the first Yuugiou fan I've seen here! CAN I HUG YOU!?" And I squealed and said "YES! Are you a fangirl too?!" And we hugged and she said she likes Kaiba the best... and I was all.. "Ohhhh... *sweat* STILL! IT ROCKED! And another girl pointed at me and screamed, "I LOVEEEE YOUR SHIRTTTTTT!" (Said shirt has Malik, Kaiba, Yami and Jou on it)
Yay! I felt loved! >=3
But now I'm dead tired. AND... erm, sorry bout the long post. T__T;

Wow, that sounds like it was a lot of fun. XD Glad you enjoyed yourself.
That really sucks about the Malik cosplay. You probably could've still worn the costume and just had crappy-looking gold, but it also might be better to just save it for next time. ^^
And yes... I remember we had to stand in line for like three hours to get our tickets for Otakon the day before, then another one hour to get in the next day... it was so worth it though. X3 I don't think I ate at Otakon at all though, because there were a couple fast food places across the street, so we would just eat breakfast at the hotel, lunch across the street from the place, and dinner out somewhere else when we got back everyday. And you found YUU*GI*OU doujin??? D: I'm so jealous! I couldn't find any when I went to Otakon! ;_; I did find Japanese Zelda manga though. <3
And those pins sound awsome. X3
No YUU*GI*OU cosplayers...? How depressing... I remember seeing like five Kaibas, two Yuugis, two Bakuras, and a Jounouchi... the Jounouchi was really fat though. XD;; It was so cute though, because there was this mom and her little kid there, both of 'em dressed like Kaiba, with trench coats and briefcases and everything. <3

Did you stay over night at Otakon? That sounds fun. I don't know where that one takes place though, I've heard of it, y'know... just don't know where it is.
Yea, I did. You would have been in heaven! @_@ I might be able to scan the one I bought a bit later... it's rather cute. It's actually not on Zelas.net so, I might donate to the site once I do scan 'um. =B It's pretty much shonen-ai between JouxYami Yugi... *Shrug* Not my favorite pairing, but it's cute and comical. (Even though I can't read it... XD)
Yea, no Yuugiou cosplayers... just hella Narutards. ><;;

Yeah, it was all the way in Maryland so we stayed for three nights. Otakon is probably the biggest east-coast convention in the US... I think Anime Expo is the biggest west-coast...
And that'd be so awsome of you to scan and donate. X3 I could probably attempt to translate it for you if you have a good-quality scanner and the print in the doujin is "good handwriting." XD;;
Ugh... there were a lot of Narutards at Otacon as well... And a lot of Eds from FMA, even though I didn't see like any other FMA character there besides Ed. O_o It was awsome though, because there was someone dressed as PacMan there (they had a giant costume made of nilon; it was so awsome! XD) and they ended up gathering as many Ed cosplayers as they could, then the group ended up running around the place in a follow-the-leader line, PacMan in the back, so it looked like PacMan was chasing a bunch of ghosts/Eds. XD I think I have a picture; I could attempt to dig it up and scan it... if my scanner decides to work for me...

That'd be pretty awesome! Yea, I don't know how well my scanner will work though. I just got a free scanner/printer thing when I bought my Macbook, so who knows how good the quality of it is.
Yea, I saw a lot of Eds too, and a lot of Kingdom Heart cosplayers. I didn't take any photos of the very common cosplayers though. I got some Avatar cosplayers (who were awesome!!) and the mario gang (Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Daisy, and Shy Guy) then I got one of Koga from Inuyasha, and another of that new Pokemon Diamond chick with Ash. ^^
Haha, Pacman? Somebody at my school did that. I should scan the picture. Our Pacman is chasing a giant ghost person though. And yes, you need to show me the picture if possible! That would rock. =3
I do want to go to an East Coast con one of these days. Maybe when I go to New York I can find something to go to? ^^

I didn't see any Avatar cosplayers when I went because it was around the time that Avatar had first started airing, so wasn't very popular yet. D:
And I don't think New York has many conventions, because it's probably really expensive to rent a large building out there... but I'm probably wrong. XD;; You should check online.

New York City had Big Apple Anime Fest, or something like that, but they canceled one year do to a scheduling conflict and after that, they never did it again. D;
New York doesn't really have that many good anime cons. =__= I think Anime Next is a pretty good convention, but it's in New Jersey. It's really close to New York though, it that counts for anything. ^_~
