My parents are Christian . . . And they are so against gays/les/bi people. . . And gay marriges too . . . So if I wanna get kicked out of the house and have my whole family and friends know that I'm a bi, the first people to tell them to is my parents! stare

Yup, I do. Most do I think. They're both just really old fashioned, they're not even particularly Christian. As for my Grandparents... *shudder* I would be out of their will so fast, it's not even funny...not that it's funny in the fisrt place.

You know, after thinking about it, I'm happy that our generation has to face this. Now we know what it would be like for the next generation. And we'd know how to deal with it. But that is just seriously ******** up. I would call the cops, make your dad go to therapy, well, I'd do anything rather than being locked up for being who I am. He's trying to change your sexuality by doing this.

Sept Ember I was just wondering, because alot of my friends cannot come out to their parents because of that. Same, my parents are too... so they have no idea that I am Bi..

My mom was cool about it; my dad never knew. He died before I could tell him... and we didn't get along, anyway, so it didn't really matter much to me what he thought. Both my mom and my dad are now dead, so it's kind of a moot point sad
As a parent, I want my kids to be happy.. and if being gay is part of what they are, then that's the way they are, and I love them regardless. One of my daughters has already admitted to being bisexual, and has pictures up in her room of her and her girlfriend kissing and snuggling. Doesn't bother me a bit... then again, I'm bi, and I'd be a helluva hypocrite if I told her I couldn't accept her sexuality. I'd never do that to my kids.... never.

My mom and I got into a discussion about gay marriages and things like that. My cousin is gay and my mom has no problem with that. I know she'll be fine with me. Not sure about my dad though. My sister was cool with it smile My sister rocks. I havn't told them yet and I have no idea how to go about it. At least they aren't homophobic.

i told my mom that i was bi and told her about my experiences and she told my sister who told my dad, BUT lucky for me no one really believes or pays attention much to what both my mother and sister say. Plus i've had many b/fs and had one at the time this all went on. my sister also knows that i have lesiban friends and have been to gay clubs, but i don't think she really knows for sure about me or not. I've never really come out and told everyone, yet i have told all of my friends. if i ever found a real g/f then i would let everyone know, but since there is no one around here for me......

My mom acts all open minded, but she's not. She says she's okay withthere being homosexuals (as if she had a choice) but thinks that marriage between them is wrong and she keeps sayin that "everyone has desires, you just can't follow them" my response was "what urges? Mom, that's not natural." she was very silent, ha ha. Anyway, she thinks she knows everything but she's so ******** lame. She maried my father on a dare, he's an abusive alcoholic with a petifile younger brother, a rapist older brother, and a totaly twistd mom. I think THAT ruines the 'sanctity' of marriage.
