So, seeing as how this is the 'welcoming thread', I'd like to say that I'm ashamed of the fact that we've not had any real reason to use this thread for it's intendeed purpose.
Therefore, I do hope that as an active crew, everyone will do their best to make mention of the guild in one way or another. If not, we're going to have to send a pressgang ashore to pic up New Members.
I must admit, i'm releaved that Dr. Morgan has decided to rejoin us when we touch at Gibraltor. It'll be refreshing, not to mention the upcoming storyline will toss things for a loop. I promise.

Bad news, Morgan. We're not touching at Gibraltor. If anything, we'll make a touch-n-go, but no more. I've decided we are to head for Northern Europe immediatley.

The touch-n-go will be sufficient. I am currently in a nomadic state, carrying everything I need on my person. So long as I'm aware of the ship's arrival, I should be aboard within the hour.

Oops! Our winds have hauled to the South, rendering us incapable of bringing her about. If we did, it would take us hours just to turn around and tack against the wind in order to pick you up.
.... looks like your going to have to jump. Actually, if my memory serves me correctly, weren't you saying something about a glider or a method of gliding that you'd heard somethng about?

You sadistic b*****d. Great, now I've go to integrate mid-20th century designs with an 18th century capacity. Perhaps I'll go look at Da Vinci's designs.
I meant it to be a joke! *sob*

I guess that would work. But now that I've done some research on it, hang-gliding seems like so much more fun. And how much more of a dramatic entrance can one pull off? rofl

Need a hand there Bouldersan ?
I also need to reboard the lady , and coincidentally I happen to have two rolls of silk which could be used to make a glider , if you could find construction materials >.>

He's already aboard... and the hang glider is sunk and run by the board. As for your boarding, the ooportunity might come sooner than imagined.

Well, let's just say that you have approximatley three to four days before the 'HMS Boadicea' comes alongside and makes herself known you therefore have a choice:
A:- Begin writing a detailed account of how you came to be one of His Magesty's finest and when the Boadicea comes in contact, you RP you're having fallen overboard and the crew of the Lady shall bring you aboard. Now our being presented as a plauge ship, you'd have to stay aboard the Brig until proven well and healthy.. or more likely indefinitley.
B:- Wait until we make port and spend here to eternity writing your backstory.
