spontaniac Of course they could have. Technically, they could do almost anything. The point is, as I've already mentioned, is that they didn't let Maddie's dad see Clark's powers and/or kill him off (which was what the topic was before the little "how long has Jonathan known" debate). it wasnt really a debate jsut a misunderstanding-.- thx for explaining it for me razz

But that still leaves the hanging question o whether or not they will bring back Maddie and her father. I think that gough and miller have left that cliff hanger purely for the possibility of bringing back maddie, and if they are grasping for straws of ideas, there is always the possibility of bringing her back (like they did with Ryan)

well duh. But there is always the possiblity. they get their ideas out on the table and createan estimate of how many shows are going to be in the season. if they need a certain number then they create the drag in epiodes, where it doesn't exactly fit with what is going on in the seasn, but what the hell why not add it episodes.

I totally agree. I liked Maddie and I personally rather liked Ryan too but I'm sure having him more often would've dragged the show down a bit, since he's not a really major component of the show, so same with Maddie. I hope they don't bring her dad back though, he was more irksome than the usual meteor freak villians. Can you imagine if they brought Maddie or another guest into a season finale or something? Depending on the story, that might be pretty cool but I doubt it'll ever happen. But yeah, the bigger picture is probably the main focus right now.

they definatly won't be having her in the finale. they never do that for finales. except for sam phelan in seasn 1. Not unless they are going to be a major factor or componant.

she would have an extremely out of place appearance if they did decide to bring her back. it would be one of those "WTF is she doing there" kind of things.

LOL that would be cute. It could be like the Justice League of Smallville. Do you think they'll ever start the Justice League or something by the end of the series? I guess probably not, since that's obviously not the focus, but it'd be amusing.

That because everything you say is so cliche. The world is not going to "blow up" in season seven. That would totally defeat the purpose of smallville. If you know what im going to say then why don't you follow what i am going to say.
