Gwen stood up. "I should be going too..." she announced, especially with the new development as to punishment. "I'm just gonna use your bathroom..." she said to Sanzo, slipping into the bathroom. She took a piece of paper from her bag and grabbed a pen. In small handwriting she carefully wrote: Don't worry, these lips are sealed! folding it numerous times.
She came out again and asked Cyndir "What class do you have?"crossing her fingers and hoping it was the same as hers. She grabbed his hand and secretly slid the note into it.

Cyndir tried to give Sanzo a bit more support, and looked at Ariko, concern clear on his features.
"They won't really make him go, will they?" he asked, a worried frown on his face.
At the moment, he wasn't even all that worried about Ariko's prescence. After all, he and Sanzo were friends, weren't they? But that didn't necessarily mean that he knew.
He was suddenly yanked from his immediate thoughts as his hand was grabbed. It took a few moments to register what Gwen was saying as he stared down at the folded paper in his hand.
"What? Oh, um...I don't start classes till noon. I'm just up early today. Why?"
Well, she just gave him some sort of note...Maybe she needed to talk to him in private? He blinked in confusion, and looked from Sanzo to Ariko and back to Gwen.

"Well...um...I'd...uh...better get...er...going. I don't want to get detention eith...s..s..sorry Sanzo...I wish I could..."
Arikos voice trailed off as his dropped his eyes to the floor. He felt even worse for Sanzo now, the selfish thought of sparing himself from detention clouded the boys better judgement.
"Hey Cyn-kun, you keep an eye on Sanzo here. I'll be back by noon to help out too. I'll grab some of your work for you Sanzo so you're not behind. Nice to see you again Gwen-chan, see you later."
Ariko turned around and exitted to the hallway, closing the door softly as he left.

"Ok," Gwen said once Ariko had left. "All that says is "Don't worry!" she smiled. "I won't tell anyone, at least not until when and if you guys decide you're ready to tell people. I'm a firm believer in love in all forms, and that suppresion is evil!" she laughed. "But I'm thinking that I'm gonna be late to my next class..." She quickly hugged both and dashed out the door, hurrying to make it to her class.

Cyn waved as Ariko left.
"You can bet on it, Ariko-san." he said. He frowned for a moment, wondering why he was in such a hurry to get out.
As Gwen hugged him, he smiled. Maybe this wouldn't be so hard...But his expression changed as soon as she was gone, as Renji's face come into his mind. His best friend had been so cruel...yet someone he barely knew was being so kind...He closed his eyes and leaned close to Sanzo. He knew he shouldn't have tried to cover it up...he should have just told him. Renji would have understood...Wouldn't he?
"Sanzo-kun...do you think Renji will ever speak to me again?" he asked softly.

"Cyn-kun..." Sanzo wrapped his arms around Cyndir and kissed the top of his head, "I'm sure of it. Renji's just a bit of a hot head, he lets his mouth get away from him sometimes. You know that better than anyone."
He ran a hand through Cyndirs red locks and rest his hed on his shoulder again.
"Could I ask you to give me a hand to the infirmary. It could be a while before I really get back on my feet so to speak."

Cyndir sighed and nodded. Sanzo was right...Though if the two of them were fighting because of him...he couldn't imagine Renji and Sanzo getting along so well for a while...
"Sanzo-kun...are you sure you should be going all the way to the infirmary? That's halfway across the campus. Tell me what you need, I'll run and get it for you. I have some pain-relievers in my room..."
He sat up, fingertips of one hand lightly resting on Sanzo's forearm, his brow drawn together over the two-toned eyes in concern. He clicked the tongue-ring against his teeth nervously and tilted his head.

"Thanks Cyn, but I have plenty of medical supplies. I really need to get a note for my teachers as to my absence. Otherwise, I could very well lie here being electrocuted most of the day."
Sanzo shifted his weight off of Cyndirs shoulders and grabbed the bed frame. He pulled himself to his feet with a groan, his shirt began to spot again with blood droplets. The strain of getting up must have reopened an existing wound.
"Do you think you can help me with my shirt Cyn kun? I never did get to button it."

Cyndir was on his feet in a second, as Sanzo stood.
"You're bleeding..." he said, his hands raised as if he could make it stop. "Isn't there any way..." he bit his lip. "I hope nothing is broken...I've heard rumors about Taiki-sama's punishments..."
He stood in front of Sanzo and buttoned his shirt for him. "You don't think he could have cracked any ribs or anything, do you? Those bruises are hideous..." he paused in the act of fastening a button midway up the shirt, and looked up at Sanzo. He didn't like seeing him in pain. He hated it...
He looked away, and his hands dropped to his sides, clenching into fists. "Damn that b*****d...damn him to HELL!" he said, with a savagery he rarely displayed. "I wish I could just....just...ARGH!"
He hit his fists to the sides of his head and took a deep breath. Cyndir was easily annoyed but very seldom was he truly angry, and he was almost never violent. Even in his troubled days, he was not the violent sort.

Sanzo reached out and grabbed Cyndir's shaking fists.
"Calm down Cyn-kun. What's done is done, and all we can do is carry on somehow. I'm just glad to know you care for me so much. I care for you as well Cyn-kun, I don't know what I'd do if you were hurt. I might not be able to control myself again."
Sanzo unclenched the boys hands and locked his fingers between Cyndir's. He gazed into the boys eyes while the two of them stood nearly chest to chest.
"I love you Cyn-kun, nothing will ever change that"
Sanzo leaned in for a kiss, he pressed his lips against Cyndir's as he began to slip his tongue pass his lips an unexpected knock came at the door.
{Knock, Knock, Knock}

Ariko knocked on the door knowing Cyn and Sanzo were both still there.
"Oi, snack time guys, it's Ariko. Can I come in again?"
Sanzo pulled his lips from Cyn's slowly, not really wanting to.
"Should we tell him Cyn-kun? I know he won't say anything. He already knows about me. He should be fine with it, Ariko really is quite the good guy. I do have to at least let him in."
Sanzo turned to the door and released one of Cyndir's hands.
"It's okay Cyn-kun, I'll hold your hand and everything will be fine. Oi Ariko, come on in."
Ariko entered the room not noticing the two boys holding hands in the center of it.
"Hey I got you one of those fancy teas Sanzo, and a mango smoothie for you Cyn, and...JAPAN # 32...Walnut Biscotti!!!"
Ariko couldn't help but chuckle at his 'Yakitate! Japan' reference. For an anime about bread he enjoyed it way too much.

Cyndir let out a heavy sigh as Sanzo took his hands and he forced himself to relax. He nodded slowly as Sanzo's words pierced his cloud of rage. When he said he loved him, Cyndir felt his anger drain away, to be replaced with a gentle warmth as he felt the other's lips against his.
At least this time there was a knock before a blatant entry, but Cyndir couldn't help the sudden moment of panic that washed over him. He looked at Sanzo, naked terror in his eyes as Ariko called out from the other side of the door. He didn't have time to think it through. He gulped, and again, Sanzo's voice had a calming effect on him. He squeezed his hand, and gave a barely perceptible nod as Ariko entered. His insides were full of nervous butterflies and it was all he could do to keep himself from bolting.
No more running. You've come this far. Sanzo trusts him. And you trust Sanzo.
He stood there, completely motionless, waiting for the inevitable.

Sanzo felt Cyn's grip tighten on his hand sensing his nervousness.
"Hey Ariko, I have something..." Sanzo looked at Cyn and restarded his statement. "WE have something we need to talk to you about. Cyn and I are...well...we're..."
Ariko quickly interupted Sanzo's confession.
"What, you two dating now? That's nice, I'm glad for you, hope your both happy. Odd though Cyndir, always thought if it would ba anyone, Renji would be a...you know...your first."
Ariko handed the boys their drinks and raised his glass in the air and held it out towards the two of them.
"A toast to Sanzo and Cyndir, may your happiness be everlasting."

Cyndir had pinched his eyes closed, as soon as Sanzo began speaking, expecting the worst. But the next thing he knew, a drink was being shoved in his hand and Ariko was saying something. He stared in confusion, mouth ajar. First Gwen, now Ariko. Since when had everyone become so openminded? Was it just his hometown? His mom? He just didn't get it. Ariko should be offended or...or something!
Dating!? Cyndir let out a little squeak at that. He hadn't considered...hadn't had time to consider what they were. But it made sense. The realization caused a strange reaction within him. He couldn't decide if it was good or bad but it was definately different. But at mention of Renji, he hung his head, not meeting anyone's eyes as he half-heartedly raised his glass. Renji seemed to be the only one mad at him for this. And Renji was the one that went both ways!
His hand tightened on the cup in his hand, and he let out a heavy sigh.
"I don't think Ren-kun was very happy about it, that's for sure." he said.

"Pfft, 'Manwhore Motoki', he's probably just jealous. He probably thought he'd be the one to pop your cherry"
Ariko chuckled at the thought and sipped his drink. He smiled at Cyndir and noticed the boys displeasure.
"Oi, Cyndir, don't take it so hard man. If he's really your friend, then he'll be alright in no time. I'm sorry I can't offer anymore help with him but, Motoki-san and I just don't see eye to eye. Somethings always rubbed me the wrong way about that kid. And it has nothing to do with his sexuality."
Ariko took another sip of the latte, he stared at the cup for a moment after he pulled it from his lips.
"Damn Reiku was ******** right about these things, they are good as hell. Anyway Cyn, Sanzo, whatever the hell goes on in peoples bedrooms isn't my business so, you don't have to worry about me spouting off to anyone. Motoki will come around when he feels like it, he always does."
Ariko sipped the latte again and a smile crossed his face.
"I have to learn what the hell these things are really called."

Cyndir actually chuckled at the use of Renji's nickname.
"You're the second one to suggest that he was jealous. But what would he be jealous of? He and I have always been best friends. I spent more time with Ren-kun than I do with anyone or anything else...except maybe my guitar and sketchbook..." Cyndir sighed irritably. Jealous or not, it didn't mean he had to throw that he did in Cyndir's face.
With another sigh - he seemed to be doing alot of that lately - he took a sip of the cool beverage. He looked up at the ceiling.
"I think I really need to talk to that baka." he said with a groan. "Sanzo...don't we need to get that notification to your teachers?"
