He didn't move for a while and let his claws pierce her skin for a while before getting off. A chuckle followed him as he went and laid down again, licking any blood off his claws.

Amani flinched when his claws cut her then stood when he finally got off. Her mind knew she should just be submissive and rest from all the things she had gone through that day.
But giving her more wounds just because he could was the last straw.
"What is the matter with you?? How can you be so cruel?" she hissed, her body tensed against another probable blow that would result from her rant. "And don't give me any of this 'My family abused me' or 'All females think they're so strong' stuff. I understand what happened to you. But do you honestly think beating me down makes you stronger?? All it does is make you a bully," she added and narrowed her eyes, though most of the force had already left her tone.
"Justify your hatred towards me, Harabu. Help me understand why, even though I have done nothing but show you kindness or at the least civility, you seem to hate me so much."

"You dont know anything about me!" he roared rather loudly. He soon pounced her again this time in his mind all he could do was kill her. The femme needed to learn her place so in an instant his claws hit her face leaving a nice clean cut. He then got off her and hissed, "Learn your place or your gonna get killed." He then went over to the lake and laid down in it. He let the cool water lap at his sides.

She stood, her eyes half closed in defeat. She had lost her temper and this was the payment.
"You're right, I don't. I will not ask again," Amani said turned away as the cut burned from the touch of salty tears, "I'm sorry."
She wanted to run, run and never come back. But they would come after her, that she knew. She could have run the the glade she had found, but she didn't want to see the creature she had defeated nor the scavangers that were probably still eating it. So she just walked to the edge of the clearing farthest from Harabu, laid down facing away from him, and continued to weep quietly.
((I don't mind. Where on her face is it?))

Harabu just ignored her. The mark he had left should teach her, if not plenty more could come from where that one did. He just rolled in the water to clean himself of her blood and anything else before laying on his side in the sun, his eyes occasionally flicking to see what she was doing.

Harabu didn't notice anything of what she did but then why would he and why would he care? The black lion was happy doing what he wanted when he wanted and to him, thats all that mattered right now. He cared not for femmes. Nyek had Afu but he would never have a mate, he couldn't care for a female, not unless they proved themselves, that and, no femme would want him.

Amani need to wash the blood off her muzzle, but she didn't need another confrontation with Harabu just yet, so she walked a ways down the lake before looking into the water. A fat fish lay lazily in the shallows and she licked her lips. She'd never had fish before, and was kinda curious as to how it tasted. But first, how to get it out of the water.
Maybe if I whack it, I can stun it, she thought and brought her paw down quickly into the water. It darted away before her paw came in contact and she was spalshed as a result. "Okay, that didn't work," she muttered and watched it stop farther down the bank. She followed it and swiped her paw through the water, this time sending it flopping onto the shore. She pounced on it, killed it, then tried the fish. It was a weird taste but not bad and she scraped the bland scales off.

Harabu got up and stretched getting out the water, he trotted down to the lake but ignored the femme instead he stepped into the water a little and watched as the fish moved. In a split second his head had been in the water and out again with the fish in his mouth.
He trotted out the water and settled down to eat it, he contnued to ignore her presence.

Amani narrowed her eyes at Harabu.
"Show off," she muttered and cleaned the fish remains from her mouth and went to the water to wash the scales from her paws. She looked at her reflection and frowned at the marks on her muzzle. She washed the drying blood from her face and returned to the shore to dry off, watching Harabu.

Harabu ate the fish and once finished laid out on his side again, he was rather lazy that was truthful. "Find me something to do slave... I find boredom creeping up on me and I am not too keen on it!" He let out a small snarl as he finished speaking and then closed his eyes.

"Something to do?" Amani repeated, slightly confused. What could she think of for him to do?! Anybody else, she might have suggested a game, but he didn't seem the sort to play.
"Well, what do you normally do when you're bored?" she asked.

"Complain about being bored or sleep! I want something to do though." He spoke, no emotion in his voice and nor did he move or open his eyes. He knew she would obey him, after all, if she didnt she would have another scar.

Amani rolled her eyes and decided playing a game was the only option, apparently.
"Okay, fine. But if you don't like it, then it's not my fault because you don't give me much to work with," she said before lightly whacking him with her paw and running a distance away. She paused and looked over her shoulder.
"You're it. You have to catch me now," she said, in case he'd never played tag before.

He opened one eye as she hit him and he then looked a little confused till she explained. He then got up and tensed his muscle, then stretched, then pounced rushing after her, his claws were for once kept away and he wasn't out to hurt her.
