I agreee thatrt she looked better with long hair, but the short hair did make the character seem more mature. XD BUT WHY GABRIELLE!1 WHY!!?

I think they wanted to make her more mature, instead of being like an innocent person. And plus, she can't stay innocent when she hangs out with Xena.

I liked them both because each haircut suited her character. The long pretty hair suited her when she was young, naive and wasnt a fighter. The short suited her as a tough woman.

At first I hated her new hair, but then I realized it looks better w/ her face and stuff. wink

I love the short hair.
But I have to agree that each suited the character for the time in the series.

*gasps!* never! they could have pulled it off with keeping her hair long. I think that Renee herself wanted to cut her hair, thats why they did it. Yeah we think of her short hair as more mature. Thats because that is when she was more mature. Now if she acted that same way when she had long hair, then we would think she was just as mature.
