Drako took quite a risk with that move, and at least this time, he'd actually hit it. Last time, he'd cracked his ribs on the miss. Still, it was a move in his repertoire he pulled out on many of his big matches and he'd nailed it. The downside is, he's down on the outside with the champion after yet again knocking the wind from himself.
Now in the wreckage of the table, the ref has to begin his ten count again

The ref began his ten count, but was almost immediately drowned out by the crowd in attendance.
"Ho-ly s**t! Ho-ly s**t!"
One!
Avari stirred under the rubble beneath him, aching and hurting all over. His back was screaming at him, and he had lost a little feeling in his left arm, which was never a good sign.
Still, this was a hell of a match for WWFG to sign off on.

Drako is laying on his back at this point, needing a few moments to catch his breath after repeatedly throwing his body at the champion.
two!
Three!
eventually he starts to stir, rolling to the side to start pulling himself up with the barricade behind the table

Avari stirs a little more and watches as Drako begins to move. He was groggy, dazed, but not out of it yet.
He reached out and grabbed Damone's leg with as much strength he could put into it, which wasn't a huge amount at this point.

Drako is almost to his feet when he vaguely feels Avari grab at him. He makes it to a vertical base, then reaches back to pull Avari up again. Doesn't quite have the energy to attack yet, but instead attempts to roll him back into the ring

The Champion accepts being dragged up and rolled into the ring, continuing the movement and landing in the center of the ring.
He groaned and moved onto his side, coughing slightly and holding his ribs.
Five!

after such a big move, Drako slides into the ring after the champion and quickly attempts to push him on his back and hook the leg for a pin

The referee stopped his count as Drako entered the ring, and immediately ran over for the count.
One!
Two!
Thr-!
A close one, but that was a two! The fans watched on in disbelief, they thought that was it!

as the champion kicks out, Drako sits up, pushing his hair out of his face and muttering in slight frustration. Truth be told, he took a lot out of himself with that move, but the match must go on.
Getting to his feet again, Drako tries to see if he can put an end to this as he goes for Avari's legs, this time to attempt a sharpshooter

Avari was weak at this point, beaten, but not quite out.
However, he looked very susceptible to a submission, and that was exactly what Drako was trying out.
As he tried to lock it in, Fusion wriggled and twisted, trying to use some measure of force to keep it from fully being locked in!

Drako didn't think Avari would have that much fight left in him but he can't seem to get the sharpshooter in. Well, if that's the case, Drako will have to switch up one more time, instead aiming a double leg drop to the abdomen

Drako was nimble, quick, and knew just how to find the right spot to hit.
With quickness he released the Sharpshooter attempt and, instead, caught a double leg drop to the abdomen of Avari.
Only stifling the pain through deep breaths, Fusion rolled onto his side again, before attempting to roll away from the action for a little respite.

To be honest, it's been a couple years since Drako was able to break that particular maneuver out. It felt pretty good to pull out another old trick from the bag in the last WWFG show. Let's see what else he can pull out.
Rolling to his feet, he spots Avari attempting to get some distance. Smart, but Drako isn't going to let him go that easily. Moving after him, he attempts to catch Avari by the head and pull him to his feet again

Avari just wanted a rest, but Drako wasn't going to let up, and that was smart of him.
As he was being dragged to his feet, Fusion attempted something to give him some space. He looked to come up fast with a European Uppercut!

in hindsight, perhaps Drako should have left Avari on the ground to attack, as he's rewarded for his efforts with a european uppercut that sends him stumbling backwards, not prepared for the counter at this stage
