One film adaptation of a play that comes to mind is West side story. I enjoyed the movie more because it allows me to create a better image of what's going on, sometimes when reading a book or play i cannot create the correct image in my head to help me understand what I'm reading Word count 55

When I was younger I saw Annie the musical on Broadway and it was a really fun experience. The last play I read was Hamlet and I really enjoyed reading it. I like Shakespeare's writing so I liked it. I don’t have much experience with opera and ballet but hopefully in the future I will. Word count 55

Have you ever attended a professional drama performance? Which type of drama was it (play, opera, musical, dance)?
Yes, I have attended a professional drama performance. I attended a musical called The Lion King on Broadway. The Broadway show was an extraordinary and stunning experience with the unique music and dances that were performed. An artistic way to show scenes that occur in a script.

What is the last play you read? Did you enjoy it?
The last play I read was called Hamlet by William Shakespeare. I enjoyed reading Hamlet, and the connection of staying true to yourself and your desires is what really hooked me to this play. Shakespeare's wordplay is also interesting, seeing the way he mixes strong vocabulary with familiar words.

Have you watched a film / TV adaptation of a play? Which format did you enjoy most, and why?
Yes, I have watched a film adaptation of a play. Like I've said in previous posts, I watched The Lion King on both Broadway and the movie. I enjoyed the Broadway show a lot more because it was thrilling to see and hear the performance physically rather than seeing it on television.

danny1123 I have never attended a professional drama performance, but I feel like it would be a cool experience. I have never read a play before. I have never been to a musical drama, and I have no experience with opera or ballet, I have watched Hamilton before with my sister and I liked how their way of performing was singing. 60 words Hello, likewise I have never attended any professional drama performance, however, would be nice to give it try, in order to see come to life. Nor have I ever seen a musical drama and never been a fan of opera though. Although now that I think of it, I love watching Madea's play who is Tyler Perry. I actually watched something in terms of drama. haha! Word Count: 65

MutantXFactor Before we begin, answer each of the following questions in a separate post:
• Have you ever attended a professional drama performance? Which type of drama was it (play, opera, musical, dance)? • What is the last play you read? Did you enjoy it? • Have you ever seen a musical drama? What type of musical was it? Do you enjoy musicals? • What is your experience with opera and ballet? • Have you watched a film / TV adaptation of a play? Which format did you enjoy most, and why? Hello, I have never watched any drama or musical. Although now that I recall I did watch a few plays of Tyler Perry (Madea), which were insightful, and hit home a few times. Plays are fun to watch, and one must pay attention and read between the lines, they usually consist of a valuable teaching. I've watched several of his movies for example: A Madea Family Funeral, Diary of a Mad Black Women, I can do bad all my myself among others. Also, watched show "house of payne" it was good.
