"Dammit, Nuke...ughhh..." Hiro said to himself as Nuke declared tonight the evening of his the Ethnic Enigma's redemption. He was so, so tired -- and while Nuke was his friend, the schtick of redeeming was the only thing more tired than the wrestlers in the ring. However, with only a half-second to react, Hiro would lean down as Nuke came in running! He would hoist Nuke up, using his own momentum to send him over the top rope! Where he ended up would come down to the god before him, but at the very least Hiro avoided a tumble of his own for the moment.

Hiro's struggle continued as what he thought would be a lucky break turned out to give Nuke a free shot at the back of his head, sending him forward and knocking him loopy. The Ethnic Enigma shook his head free of the throbbing that came with Nuke's strike, but his eyes still struggled to see straight as his stumbling finally stopped with planted feet that turned on a dime -- Hiro watching as Nuke leaped to the top rope and suddenly took to the sky, coming right for him! Clearly the actions of his son had been rubbing off on the elder Fusion, or maybe he had this in his back pocket the whole time...but regardless, he didn't get as much air as he could have, and through the spinning state of his world, Hiro calculated that instantly! He took a step back and then shot forward with his foot, catching Nuke Fusion with a thunderous super kick as he flew in close!

The fans were stunned as Nuke crashed to the ground, as did Hiro with a scream as he left all of his weight to be held up by his attacked left leg that just escaped the ankle lock moments prior. Hiro grabbed at and then squeezed his hamstring, shouting as the ref would check on Nuke after the whiplash and crash of his forearm attempt being countered. The crowd was going wild, "HOLY s**t!" chants starting to build up as they couldn't believe the move had actually connected so precisely, another example of these two men being consummate pros.

The official would move his attention to Hiro, checking on his leg and checking in on him as he did Nuke. Hiro bashed his fist against the ground and told the ref to back off, that he was fine -- and in an attempt to prove that, he began to drag himself to Nuke, pushing with his hurting leg that felt like it could snap at any moment. He managed to leap lowly and get on top of Nuke's downed body, hooking the leg and trying to score a victory right here -- a few minute and a half after connecting with the superkick. It remained to be seen if the time between impact and pinfall would prevent a win or not.

Hiro was so sure this was about to be over -- revenge, redemption, and realignment of his career all on the line here. As the ref came down for three, Hiro began to relieve some of the pressure he was applying to Nuke's chest to pin him down...and perhaps that was a huge mistake. It made it even easier for Nuke to power up his shoulder and kick out, sending Hiro into a seated position next to him. The Ethnic Enigma put his face into his hands as he knew he blew it there, that winning now may as well be impossible...unless?

Hiro would slowly begin to stand, putting very little pressure on his left leg as he did so. It went through his mind the fact that the pain in his should must now be ignored and he needs both arms to accomplish what he'd like to, so he shook his pain-radiating arm a few times to get used to it and attempt to drive a sharp and quick stomp with his good leg to Nuke's lower back -- and then another one if successful. It looked to the fans that, perhaps, Hiro would be looking soon for one of his finishers -- the Japanese Cloverleaf.

As the kicks connected, Hiro struggled to stay on his feet...it's what he expected, what he was prepared for. He was indeed going to go for the Japanese Cloverleaf, folding Nuke's legs and attempting to take a hold of them and get into a squatting position, locking in the move! His face contorted with the pain he was having to deal with, his face again getting all red as blood rushed upward -- thankfully the dry blood stayed that way and he didn't start to gush from his wound again. Hiro attempt to torque the move a bit on Nuke and lock it in fully, hoping to earn a submission victory here and put an end to what is quickly turning into a dangerous climax between the two!

Hiro tried to lean back and pull as much as he could while keeping his balance, tears welling up on his eyes as he may as well have been standing on a torn hamstring at this point. He tried hard but Nuke began to move, causing Hiro's body to sway and his bad leg gave out beneath him momentarily -- but the Ethnic Enigma managed to get it planted once more and kept pulling away at the God's legs. This was it, that was the turning point in the match -- either it was going to end or all the momentum would be on Nuke's side. The fans cheered as it they could feel the change in the wind, that they were seeing the true beginning of the end. What would happen?

Hiro finally got some relief as Nuke stopped struggling, the Ethnic Enigma looking towards the ref for him to call for the bell -- but he didn't. No, instead Hiro found himself flipped forward, landing on his a** and pulling Nuke with him which caused him to be rolled up as well! As Nuke popped out of the roll up to his feet, he would crack Hiro across the face with a nasty shining wizard that dropped him to his back and caused blood to begin draining from his forehead again! The fans were stunned at such an insane spot, such athleticism by a clearly tired Redeemer...it was incredible!
