The DDT would connect. Hoping he can maybe pick off a win, or at least make Cart expend some energy by kicking out. Trent would look to grab one leg of Cart and go for a pinfall!

Trent hooks Cartwright's leg and the referee outside the ring begins the count.
ONE...
TWO...
Cartwright lifts his right arm up, causing the pin attempt to be broken!

Trent would be thrusted up as Cartwright kicked out. Upon kick out, Trent would sit up. Taking a breather and kooking around the ring for something new to use against the pest

This pest just so happens to be Trent's superior in every way.

Cartwright holds his head on the mat while Trent looks around, still feeling the effects of the brutal DDT!

Trent would get back to his feet slowly, staring down at Cartwright while doing so. Once he got back to his feet, he would begin to kick at Cartwright trying to inch him closer to the barbed wire ropes

Cartwright receives a kick to the side of his body from Trent, which pushes him closer towards the exploding barbed wire ropes.
Cartwright doesn't like this and looks to get to a knee, so he can throw an open hand chop towards Trent's chest!

Cartwright was fighting for his life here, sending a chop to try his best to stop Trent from his path. But after Trent held his chest, he looked to throw a kick at the side of Cartwright's knee in order to continue his build up of momentum

Trent fights back by striking Cartwright's knee with a kick, causing him to buckle and drop on to his side on the mat.

Trent would see in front of him, and he only had one thought in mind. He was going to end this match here, finally. He began to pick Cart up by his hair, throwing some big forearms down in the back to make sure the Brit was unable to fight back what Trent was beginning to set up

As if Cartwright's beautiful hair hasn't suffered enough by being around all of the sharp barbed wire, Trent uses it to yank Cartwright up and leaves him suffering with some blows to the spine!

Don't worry, Cartwright. It was all coming to a close. Trent would then bring in Cart into a powerbomb position. Looking at all the barbed wire staged outside the ring. He was gathering his strength for a final maneuver that would leave no questions on who would win.

Cartwright's time was surely coming to an end.
Trent has The Lad exactly where he wants him, ready to powerbomb Cartwright outside the ring and towards his certain doom.
As Trent is about to grab Cartwright to lift him up, Cartwright would try to save himself by launching Trent overhead with a back body drop over the barbed wire ropes!

Trent would have Cart exactly where he wanted him in one moment, but the moment was fleeting as everything drastically changed within two seconds. Within those two seconds, Trent would be hoisted over Cartwright, grazing the barbed wire ropes, and dropped into a big pile of barbed wire that would explode upon Trent making contact with them.
Once vision of the area was available, the image of Trent lying in the barbed wire, seemingly completely out of it, was all that could be seen.

The crowd would gasp at the drop and explosion that followed, they had never seen anything quite like this!
Cartwright would be seen on his hands and knees, looking towards Trent as the smoke cleared.
Cartwright would motion to the ringside staff to bring Trent back in to the ring for him.
The crowd begins to boo as the ringside staff listen to their boss, moving the surrounding tables to approach Trent and using pliers to cut the barbed wire off of Trent, so that they could roll him under the exploding barbed wire ropes.
Cartwright smiles as he drapes an arm over Trent's chest, thinking this is it!

Two
Despite everything that he has happened and with the little time given. Trent had thrown up a shoulder once more. When the camera panned onto his face. He wasn't there in the slightest. Pure will and hatred toward his opponent was willing him on. Just like Cartwright was earlier. Despite all the wire, and blood now pooling on the mat under him from the cuts from the barbed wire.
Despite all the pain and the misery for continuing this match. Trent was not done yet.
