She shrugged ever so slightly. " I am fine... So we are all here and accounted for... we should move on..." Pivoting on her heel she turned towards the light and followed it out of the darkness. Emerging from the darkness her eyes adjusted to the light without a problem and she kept moving glancing around and back to make sure that her group was all in one piece.

*ahead of them seemed a safe, but heavily wooded path...there were several patches of plants that seemed unknown in the area...no beginning nin would know of these plants' uses until they become much more educated in the field...*

*one of the plants was a healthy green, with pink flowers abundant all around it...however, not a single organism approached this flower...odd, seeing that not even the bees approached it to pollinate...*

*another plant had thorns all over it...and the thorns seemed to secrete some kind of green, oozing liquid...strange spiders could be seen crawling around the plant...*

*yet another plant looked like it was burnt, and all that remained was blackened vegetation, but it was actually alive and healthy...the leaves of the plant were coal black, and the smell given off by it warded boundless animals away from it...*

*another plant seemed to be all white...seemingly pure and clean...but this plant's leaves secreted an acid-like liquid...that, when it dripped to the ground, unleashed a burning sound along with a small column of smoke...*

*finally, the fifth distinguishable plant looked like broccoli...no wait...it is broccoli... eek *

*along the side of the road, also seemed to be various flowers, all with pretty colors and lavish smells...*

*a snake rested on a tree branch above...*

*the mass amount of flowers and smells in this area would no doubt throw anyone's sense of smell off...Shunketsu's scent would thus be lost in this area...but there was still a clear path in front of them...*

Edge kept away from what he could see and followed carefully after Kaida. It seemed logical to remove what skill they had depended on from their team mate and now being placed here they would probably have some sort of trap that scent would make pretty useful again if it werent for the flowers however now he needed to focus and keep his head if he were to help out in anyway.

*a crow called from the distance, and any critters in the area immediately ran away from the area...*

*without much warning, each of the beautiful flowers along the side of the road expelled poisons towards the genin, the pure amount of flowers there would mean no escape...*

*Edge would be hit by a poison that drained at his chakra at a rapid rate, which would eventually render him unconscious in a few minutes...eventually, he would start releasing a smell identical to that of the black plant...*

*Kinoru and his dog were hit by something that would make him all numb from the shoulders down...causing him to collapse...conscious, but immobile...a squirrel that was immobilized by the poison fell off a tree and landed into the thorn bush...*

*Kaida would be hit by a poison that will obstruct her breathing...she would start gasping for precious air in a few moments...*

*another unlucky squirrel was also hit by Kaida's poison...it started gasping, but it ran for the white plant with all its remaining power...bit off a leaf, and ate it, despite the burning of the acid-like liquid...after a while of rolling around...it stood back up...and ran off into the bushes and out of sight...*

Kaida watched the squirrel as her breathing became next to nothing. She moved to it and though she was uncertain of the plant she cut away a leaf with one of her kunai and then ate the leaf. It burned the inside of her throat and her eyes watered, but at least after a short while she could breathe again. She pulled some a cloth out of her shirt and put it over her nose breathing in through the rag which had been dipped a while back in something that helped her breathe alittle better after she used poisonous moves like her poison gas breath which sometimes would leave her throat burning.

Spotting the squirrel she pulled it free of the thorny bush and held it close as she tried to figure out which of the other plants she needed to give to her team mates to let them return to normal. Spotting the spiders and the fact that the squirrel had landed in the bush she muttered something hoping this was the right plant. "Sorry squirrely... but you are our test subject... "She fed the squirrel a leave from the thorned plant to see if it got rid of the effects which the squirrel shared with Kin and his dog.

(Worlds most obvouse hint ninja ) "Kaida, hury, I'll be fine for awhile, but Edge on the other hand...."

(I can only breath and hope I'm not dead sweatdrop gonk )

((the thorns would be able to leak into your hands...Kinoru should be able to regain movement starting from his hand...so, let's leave it at that...))

*as Edge was forced to consume the plant...he would slowly begin to stink less and less...his chakra would still be low due to the poison's effect, but he would regain consciousness in a short while...the plant would leave the nastiest aftertaste in his mouth though...*
