Drako is rolled to his back rather quickly for the pin.

Drako rolls his shoulder up again. His breathing is still a bit labored, but he's still in this match

Drako had managed to kick out, but that was okay - it only added to the fatigue he had to be feeling, grounding the dragon a little bit longer than before! Pushing himself back up to his feet, Salem went for the ropes, timing his rebound with the moment Drako would begin pushing himself up from the canvas to surge forward and try to Curb Stomp his face back into the mat!

Drako rolls to his side and pushes himself up to his knees. Out of the corner of his eye, between the dreadlocks that have fallen in his face, he spots movement. Forcing himself up, he would attempt to catch the leg Salem is attempting to Stomp him with, then take him down with a quick dragon screw and transition into a standing ankle lock submission

Members of the audience gasped as Drako caught Salem's foot before he could stomp down, twisting to pull the Gypsy Savage to the ground as he applied the ankle lock from the middle of the ring!
Shaking his head, Salem grimaced and growled denials at the referee who checked for a tap out or forfeit, Croft refusing to give up on his chance at changing his history! Still, it was all Salem could do to try and reach out for the ropes, struggling to get closer and grasp them while his fans cheered him on!

Drako isn't going to let Salem off that easy. He quickly attempts to pull Salem back towards the center of the ring and keep him in the ankle lock.

Salem slammed both fists into the mat as Drako denied him access to the ropes, leaving "The Copperhead" tangled up in the dragon's ankle lock a while longer! Doing the best and likely only thing he could, Salem would try to roll and slam his other leg into Drako's head, hoping to kick himself free from the suffering submission!

Drako was quite determined to take that leg out, he'd been working it the entire match. However, Salem manages to free himself with another kick to the head, forcing Drako to release him and dropping him to a knee

Salem had freed himself, much to the fans' delight, but his plight was not over, the pain lingering like an open wound as he struggled to shake and smack life into his ailing limb! Grimacing, Salem tried to recover on his back a bit, wanting to take all the time he could to conjure up his strength!

Drako shakes his head to clear it again and stands up again, quickly charging in and going for a clothesline as Salem stands to take him back down again

Drako was throwing himself into the ropes, coming in hot across the canvas to hammer Croft with some move or another, but Salem had sized up the action and prepared for his own retaliation! As Drako came running for Salem, the spry serpent would kip-up from the mat and throw one of his feet high, aiming to have the Dragon run face first into his stiff heel for a Big Boot!

Perhaps Drakos should stop charging Salem. Seems to get him caught every time, and this is no exception as he runs right into the boot, knocking him clean off his feet and leaving him sprawled on the mat
