The referee had to reach the count of three until finally Trent let go, Kofi would crawl towards corner gasping for air, holding his throat.

Trent would push himself away from the ropes, being able to move of his own will with ease after recovering. He would follow Kofi to the corner, staring down at him. Getting in his head as much as he can.

Kofi would be in a slouched position in the corner now, both hands on the ropes while looking up at Trent. He must've thought Kofi was scared or something, he wasn't but he was definitely in a bad position at the moment.

"You're good, bro. But I will be staying Champion" he said at Kofi, backing up slowly from Kofi but keeping his sights on him

Kofi smirked at Trent's remark as he backed up allowing him some space. Kofi would use the ropes to get himself to his feet in the corner then slowly walk towards Trent, barking back. "Nah, when this match is over, I'll be the new TV Champion." Kofi then threw his guard up, measuring Trent.

Trent would get a laugh out of the playful mannerisms, but would test his merve by looking to send him back with a big push

Kofi was pushed back by Trent, landing back-first against the turnbuckle padding behind him, remaining there.

Trent would rush Kofi and look to hit a big corner splash!

This would be all according to the plan as Kofi would throw his lower body to the outside of the ring, attempting to nail Trent with a pendulum kick as he crashed into the corner!

Trent would run into the feet of Kofi, sending him stumbling back and even dropping to a knee

Kofi would then use his agility to flip himself onto the top rope, facing Trent. The crowd would get to their feet awaiting the high risk maneuver while Kofi would be waiting for Trent to get to his feet.

Kofi would jump off the top rope going for a diving crossbody on Trent!

Trent would catch Kofi in his arms but the force would make him fall back as the crossbody connected

After taking down Trent to the mat with the diving crossbody, Kofi would roll to his feet. He'd have Trent in position now, running to the ropes behind him and rebounding back stopping right before the downed body of Trent, yelling out with the crowd "New Day!" and attempting a Boom Drop.
