Leon and Shiro walked around the Upper North Wild Area, he was glad that around this area. No trainers would really attack him. Probably only wild Pokemon. He sighed of relief. "Isn't this great Shiro? Nobody hounding us for a battle" He said as he noticed his companion looking around actively for an opponent. "You want to get stronger so you can evolve faster?" Shiro nodded happily. "The only way you and your sister you can evolve now is with a Ice and Fire Stone. Luckily, there is a place here that will have all the evolution stones." He reassured his partner as both of them heard rustling in some bushes. "You ready?"

Another Snover, this one different than the first though. Still, it would start out with an ambushed U-Turn by James. But this Snover was quicker to its feet and the Razor Leaf would strike James this time. A follow-up U-Turn would take care of the Snover, but Lillie and Clefairy would have to step in and heal James back up from that damage and the additional hail damage as well.

Brian and Elio continued to walk, being confronted by a Seedot not long after defeating the Klink. Brian was quite familiar with this particular Pokemon, having seen more than his fair share in Hoenn. "Alright, Lu, Screech!" he said. Lu let out a screech, causing the Seedot to roll around on the ground, trying to block out the painful noise. It was in vain, however, and when Lu stopped the noise, the Seedot immediately began to glow, indicating that they only had a couple of moves before it would unleash whatever attack it was, Bide, by the looks of it.

"Screech again," Brian said, and Lu complied, letting out another screech that caused the Seedot to wince, but not much else. That it didn't attack, but glowed again, indicated that Brian was correct in his assumption that it was using Bide. "Once more, Lu," he said. Lu obeyed, and after the noise had stopped for the third time, the Seedot unleashed the energy it had stored, though it did nothing since Lu hadn't used any damaging attacks. "Vacuum Wave!" he said, and that was all it took to knock out the Seedot, thanks to the three Screech attacks.

Lillie would even urge Ryan to have James fight this one. Seems bugs really got under her skin.

James would land a long-range Water Pulse on the Grubbin, who seemed a bit unphased by it and launched it's self into James using a Spark attack.

Shocking as that may have been, James would use another Water Pulse and send the Grubbin away.

Lillie would heal James without even asking this time.

Yet another Seedot and James was starting to tire of them. While he did use U-Turn to grab the quick advantage, this Seedot used Synthesis. That allowed it to survive a second U-turn from James.

With this knowledge, James would just wait for it to use Synthesis a couple of times and knock it back down to near zero health. Ryan would allow this only one more time before he chided James about being cruel to his opponent. James would grumble but finally land the finishing blow.

Another Growlithe jumped out at them as they were traveling, and Brian allowed Elio to take it on after the boy asked. "Scratch!" Elio commanded, his Torracat following his order quickly. The Growlithe jerked back from the pain of the attack, letting out a Howl before trying to bite Torracat. "Dodge, then Double Kick!" Elio said. Torracat jumped to one side, allowing the Growlithe to sail past, then kicked it twice in the side, sending it rolling. It somehow got back to its paws, but before it could try and attack, Torracat used a final Scratch, knocking the Growlithe out and allowing them to walk away.

A blue and gray bird Pokemon that his SNAG identified as a Cramorant was their next target, but knowing that Lu was weak to Flying-types, not to mention she had only one move that would actually do a good amount of damage against it, and Torracat to Water, Brian and Elio decided to leave this one alone and see what they could run into next.

Splashing in a nearby pond drew Brian and Elio's attention toward what they recognized as a Goldeen. "That's not worth going after," Brian said. "Neither Lu nor Torracat will have an easy time battling it, since they don't do well battling underwater." Elio nodded in agreement, and the two moved on.
