Porunga was able to grant 2 of 3 wishes before Guru died and the dragon balls went bye bye. Then just as Vegeta was about to kill Gohan and Krillin for being sneaks, Frieza arrives on the scene.

Piccolo finds Nail and syncs with him while Frieza begins his assault on Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, and Dende. Goku is still healing in the isolation chamber.

Frieza transforms into his second of 4 states and goes after Krillin. He also told Prince Vegeta what happened to his dad.

Next up to be attacked by Frieza was Gohan, but not before Gohan lost it and did a sweet try against the villain. Dende tells Gohan that Krillin is alive, however. Meanwhile Piccolo is on his way to meet with Gohan.

It is discovered that Dende is a healer and heals both Krillin and later Gohan. Then when all hope seemed lost, Piccolo synced with Nail arrives on the scene and offers to take down Frieza solo. Vegeta doesn't think Piccolo can succeed, but is more than happy to watch Piccolo try and die so to speak.

Frieza transformed into his 3rd of 4 stages and Piccolo is now at the mercy of the tyrant. Gohan going nuts is on his way to save Piccolo from dying again.

As a plan to beat Frieza, Krillin beats Vegeta within an inch of Vegeta's life and has Dende heal both Piccolo and Vegeta. while the healing was going on, Frieza transforms into his final form.

Frieza used a death beam and took out Dende first. Then Krillin, Gohan, and Piccolo attempted their might against Frieza, but their lives were spared for the moment. Finally, Vegeta powers up and tries his hand at beating the tyrant, falsely claiming that he is a super saiyan.

Vegeta puts everything that he has into trying to beat Frieza, but he just couldn't do it and now he is at Frieza's mercy. Meanwhile, Goku is finally healed and will soon be joining the fight.

Vegeta ends up dying at the hands of Frieza, but not before telling Goku a few sentimental words. Goku buries Vegeta on Namek and prepares to face Frieza.

Up until now, Frieza has been using only 1 % of his power and has decided to krank it up to 50%. And since doing so, Goku has been failing to land a hit. Ginyu has switched bodies with Bulma also.
