Ella would nod her head in agreement when Chloris suggested the two male members of her team looked handsome, she looked to them both and couldn't help but chuckle - feeling a little awkward when her eyes locked with Remus. She watched as Chloris made her way to the water, very elegantly... and then came Henryk. Ella couldn't help but open her eyes and watch him leap into the water, and then soon regret it, she laughed and turned her attention back to her books. Watching from the side of her eye as Remus got ready for joining them, she would hear his suggestion for them to join. "Uh.. I'll join you guys soon.. there's just one more chapter to this book I'm reading.." she said as she watched Remus begin to walk away.
Suddenly, before Ella could even respond. She was swept up off her feet, literally. She dropped the book she was holding as Remus raced to the water with the petite girl in his arms. Ella would let out playful screams and yells as she was taken against her will to the water, although it was her favourite place to be really. She was thrown into the air and under the water within seconds of being scooped up, the coolness of the water was soothing to her body. Coming up for some air, Ella would look for Remus. She would hold her hand out towards him with a devilish grin that something was about to happen and attempt to use her water semblance to control the water around him, lifting him up a few inches and throw him backwards into the water again with a playful smirk on her face. "You're in my turf now!" she yelled, laughing as she hoped he would join in on the fun.

The young Druid was not blind, but she was also not one to take sass either. Remus' response to her teasing made her curious, earning him a dark twinkle in both eye and smile."Remus, when you have time. I'd like to talk with you. Alone,"she said to the tall human male, though anyone that knew Chloris by now would know when her tone was dangerous. Though it was only there for a minute before she would turn her attentions to the water. Hardly even hearing the others after that.
Being pulled out of her trance, the petite young woman would turn slightly as their team leader would dive in. Henryk's return to the surface commenting about cold had the the cornflower-blue-haired girl laughing. And then there was screaming and splashing, making her jump back in the waters as she was now to her knees."Ack!"She made a face as some salty ocean water got in her mouth...And then Ella and Remus surfaced. Ella's immediate response: throwing the young man into the water and saying "You're in my turf now!"."Oh boy..."She sighed under her breath before smirking slightly.
It warmed her heart after such tough times to see her teammates in such good spirits as ever. Though, she did have to sort things out with what she's noticed as of late."I politely decline being thrown,"Chloris said warmly to Ella before giggling, deciding to walk through the water, all the more admiring the waves' strength.
She would then walk in enough for the ocean to be just above her waist before allowing herself to be caressed by the waves."Dangerous, maybe so, but peaceful."Closing her eyes, she stood her ground, stabled as she began a sort of entranced meditation, blocking out almost all sounds around her to just focus on the waves and sound of the ocean.

Vacuo had to be a balance of independence and dependence; support from others and a reason to keep that support, a way to stand on their own. He had always thought things were more in order back when Vacuo stood, even from the stories he heard on his travels after its fall. It may have been his mentor needed him to believe in that in order to see it through; if he had known when he was young how things were ran it certainly would've confused him and made him question how much weight his name actually held. But now...it no longer how much his name held, to himself at least. What mattered was fulfilling his vow and getting Vacuo back. And knowing how Vacuo truly was and what may have led to his fall just made things clear to him. Made him know what needed to be solved before ever going there. 'It won't be easy with everyone.' He thought to himself, thinking of Kai especially here. Garret would go on to recount the fall of his family and his path to vale, not going too in depth but enough to show what had occurred. As he finished, and described the knight accompanying him, he would see the man hang his head for a moment and pause...whispering something he could not hear. Soon after, he would take out his scroll and search through it before a hologram would appear from it. Garret had surprise on his face for a moment as he looked to see his mentor there with the elephant mask on his waist. 'Was he...really.' He thought to himself, almost in disbelief. It had been many years since he had seen him, but he remembered him all too well still. Such a person was one that stuck in his mind clearly; and would do so for much longer. The man before him would call him the Stygian Mammoth and that his name was Sable. He would go on to say he was the toughest Night Stalker, and would defeat the one before him when it was just strength and endurance alone. Intelligence being the only thing that could get him a victory against him. He would mention how he was proud and wanted to see Vacuo thrive...saw the strength in unity despite others not agreeing, and that was why he became a Night Stalker. 'So he truly was one. He never told me his title or anything about himself.' Garret silently thought in slight...awe. At learning of the man who saved his life twice, the only reason he was still alive today. As he handed the scroll over, Garret would accept it with a respectful nod and begin to look a bit more at him and about him. 'Your sacrifice will not be in vain.' He thought to himself.
As Garret would ask his final question, the man would start off by telling him the Night Stalkers were always willing to take back Vacuo. Which was a good start for Garret at the least; if they had helped the Reveleys in past, they would be invaluable for the future. Especially if, even distantly, they had experience in helping maintain ruling authority. And were familiar with everything there. Though for other tribes Garret would have to seek out himself to make connections. The caution of lack of unity coming back to Garret's mind, wondering if that was why they hadn't had a full movement to take it back yet. He would give one lead to go for though; the Yowlumne tribe, a tribe that may be older than the night stalkers. A tribe made of five clans. He wanted to ask right away how to contact them, but saw the man wasn't finished so he respectfully waited. It seemed they were the only tribe he knew of for now, and he would have to gather regular natives on his own as well. It seemed a lot of this would be on him to do; which was fair. If it were an easy task, he figured the Night Stalkers would have done so long ago. How he would be different as one man...he was unsure if it was the weight of his name or because he was just one man. He would nod as the man would continue, talking of unity and strength of oneself being necessary before anything else. He could recall the mans words in describing the nations history, of how they had been used in past. 'We need to be able to fend for ourselves first; so even if we do not get more aid, we can stand.' He thought to himself. He would then go onto to give his opinion, which Garret did value now, on why other nations fell. Mistral for its size, Vacuo for lack of technology and lack of unity, Atlas for its reliance on technology. And then he seemed to question why Vale did not help. Garret had an answer in mind, though if it was right or wrong he knew not. As the man went to write on a paper, Garret would respond. Even if the question may not have meant to be answered. "Vale looked out for itself first. As we all have, even if it is the last standing. But if we are to ever repel the grimm...we will have to stand as one at some point." Garret would say. Perhaps the words of a dreamer for an ideal world. But he knew how things were. He knew it was fend for yourself first in most scenarios. But he also knew the grimm. If they remained divided, they would get picked off one by one like before. Even if Vale fell first, before Vacuo, it would have been a matter of time. All were needed if they hoped to live in a world without grimm.
The man would then hand him a paper which Garret would accept, seeing a number on it. He would explain it was his contact if he needed anything...and then go on to give him a lead for the Yowlumne tribe. Which was good since Garret was just about to ask him anyway. He would say if a huntsman weren't one, there may be an up and coming one. A little bit cryptic and vague an answer, with how much he knew of Kai Garret suspected he may know more, but it was a lead. One that went back to where he started when he came to Vale; Beacon Academy. If one were there he would need to meet them and see if he could get in contact with their tribe, wherever it was, as he had never heard of them before. That is if he were able to find the student or if they would even be receptive. He knew not how that tribe would have viewed his family, and could only hope the appeal of reclaiming their homeland would be enough. 'And that they'd be willing to work together.' He silently thought to himself. It was something he could work too, even if the hope may be faint. "I thank you for the information. It shall help if we are ever able to reclaim Vacuo." He would say with a confident smile, pausing for a moment, before continuing. "And I thank you for the support. Vacuo cannot be claimed alone; even the mightiest warrior can fall when alone. If we are to take it back, it shall be united. It had been too long since we struck back, and proven to grimm and man alike that those of Vacuo blood never surrender." Garret would make to go but...would pause after a few steps and turn to look at the man. A smile crossing his lips. "Before I take my leave, there is one last thing I would request. Well, perhaps two. May I know your title, as my Night Stalker mentor had one, and may I one day face you in a duel?" He would ask, curious of both the mans reputation and his skill in battle. Garret knew not if he could beat his mentor in the present, he never could when he was younger, but if this man managed to scrape a few victories against him...it would make him a worthy opponent, close to the level he had thought of his mentor.

He almost wanted to say something...but knew he did this to himself by jumping in rather than testing things out to at least prepare. 'T-the m-more you g-get in the f-faster you get u-used to it...' He would think to himself, even his thoughts chattering from feeling cold. With eyes closed and face already prepared, he would let himself drop into the water so only his head was out. A noticeable wince on his face as he was once again surrounded by cold. Though at this point he knew it was the only way to get used to the water or else it would feel super cold the entire time he was here. What he had not expected though...was to see Remus running to the water while carrying Ella. Seeing it coming and reacting quickly, Henryk took a deep breath and submerged fully underwater. He heard the crash of the two coming in, opening his eyes slightly to see the clouds of bubble from their entries before he resurfaced. Shaking his head, water flying everywhere from his hair, he would wipe the water from his eyelids before opening them to look around. He would see Chloris knee deep in water, and then Remus and Ella resurfacing as well. He would see her throw a hand out in his direction...see him get lifted up with water a few inches, and tossed back in the water as she yelled, he was in her turf now while laughing. Henryk had forgotten, momentarily, that Ella was a water bender. But he for sure remembered it now. Still, she inspired something for the faunus.
Chloris would say she politely declined being thrown and walked a bit deeper, seeming to meditate or something. Henryk wasn't really sure but for now...it deterred him from going after her immediately. He was happy to see his team having fun and enjoying themselves again. After the stress of their last mission, it was good to just have a good fun day with everyone again. Even if it had been a bit since then. He really hoped today would be one full of fun for him and his team, and that they got to do loads of stuff together. Despite sleeping together and having the same classes, school life wasn't the same as just spending time together having fun. But he would shake those thoughts from his mind for now, as a more mischievous one from earlier returned. Plan in mind he would go towards Chloris a bit; mostly ‘cause she was closer to Remus and Ella than he was. Once close enough, a smile would cross his lips. "I declare a free for all water war!" Henryk would yell playfully and begin to splash water towards Remus and Ella. While near Chloris, he purposefully did not try to splash her while she was doing whatever it was, she was doing. Mostly ‘cause he thought it would be unfair to her to just spring it on her like that...and also ‘cause he feared the repercussions of it, like what happened to Remus after he dumped Ella in the water. ✘ Post count: 69 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: If I need to fix anything let me know.
Yumeko listened to the woman that was rubbing sun screen across her back. She would explain that her name was Valleria, and that she was on a team, however, her team has not yet met. From what Yumeko had heard, that mission ended 3 months ago. That was a disheartening amount of time. Then again, Yumeko was still waiting to be placed. Then it was her time to apply the lotion to Valleria's back.
"I'm sorry to hear that you haven't meet them. I hope that happens for you soon." She would then take the lotion in her hands and rub it together. Then with her right hand, she would write out 'mittens was here' "What do you think I wrote?" She had a simple smile on her face. She wondered if she could tell. She would of course put more on her back, but she wanted to do a bit of harmless teasing.

::======>>Valleria Teal<<======:: Valleria simply sighed at Yumeko’s comment about her team situation “I honestly don’t care about it that much, though apparently after the mission ended only 2 of the teammates came back, at least that’s what I heard. I don’t think the other teammate died but I know they are missing” she replied with a bit of a cold tone, she didn’t care for that and it was obvious. Right as Yumeko started to touch her back with the lotion she immediately felt better, it was cold unlike everything around her, and focused on it alone, she wrote something on her back with the lotion which she could easily figure out exactly what it was, though had no idea why she did it. Yumeko then decided to ask her what was written on her back with the lotion “why does it even matter what you wrote on my back? Didn’t ask you to do it” she said with a sigh, then after a few seconds she replied with “mittens was here. Are you happy now? ” ::======>>TEAM: CADT <<======:: Post Count: 50 Semblance Cooldown: Available Out Of Care:
╔════════════RENA KIYOKO════════════╗ Rena had missed a whole day of the festival after her match with her brother. Her body still hurt like hell, but, fortunately, her aura had done it's job and prevented her from sustaining any serious injuries. She was still badly bruised, but, she was better off than the previous day where she simply couldn't move. Plus, she was high on both painkillers and weed now. She'd planned to meet up with Val today regardless and she was going to keep with that. Though, due to her injuries, she wasn't really able to do much. Bummer was, she still needed to cover herself. While she was wearing fitted swimming trunks, she also wore a sarong She was also wearing a sleeved swimming top. Though, why even bother? She wasn't in any shape to swim. At least it breathed well. The beach was crowded with several stalls set up on the outskirts across from several themed restaurants and beach-centered shops. Everything seemed a little blurred in her state as she looked around, trying to see if she could find Val. She still wasn't sure if Val had watched the match. She honestly hoped she hadn't. She couldn't believe how badly she'd done. It was like shooting craps rather than doing something she'd done for years and regularly did in part daily. ╚═════════════TEAM: SLVR═════════════╝ PC: 51 OOC:
The child before her was truly one raised by Virulent. She was stubborn and perhaps even a bit prideful? A trait many survivors of vacuo tended to share. "Ahh... That is all fine dear~" Eszter responded with a cheerful smile, unphased by the girls lack of desire to exchange information. "Silence it shall be." Truthfully she was thankful that Aeralin did not wish to speak as she could focus on the conversation her totem was witnessing. Virulent would just have to forgive her when he learns the truth of her semblance. Sadly... she was going to have to put her lip reading skills into practice, a task that was not that easy at times.
Seeing as Aeralin had no intention of conversing much, Eszter closed her eyes so she could focus. Her sight observing them, as best as she could. From time to time they moved in their conversation blocking their lips from her sight. However, she did not need to read their mouths to know some of the conversation. Her gazed focused in on the spear as Virulent observed it. That weapon was familiar... the... Words she had missed were repeated on their mouths later through the conversation. The man before Virulent was a Revenly...
Her hands trembled slightly on her lap as her left hand wrapped around her right index finger playing with an old ring, but one that any could tell was of the highest quality. He.... lives... Eszter doubted he would remember her. Life was much different now, but would the agreement made by their parents be enforced if he knew? Should she tell him who she was? Make herself an ally? Taking back Vacuo was going to be a hard task and while many of hermemories there were not the most pleasant, it was still home....
Finding herself developping emotions of grief and loss she brought herself back to reality, shutting of her semblance, the owl totem would vanish without a trace nor a sound.
"Your father does like to talk alot doesn't he?" She jested with Aeralin as she opened her eyes which would no longer hold the strange gaze the young woman had noticed before.
"You sure you don't want to ask me something?"

Aeralin sat down patiently waiting on her father to come back in, but seemed to be busy with the other guy in the front 'what takes them so long' Aeralin thought to herself as she slowly lost the patients she had before. Her patients completly ran out at one point and was about to talk to Eszter but she noticed that her eyes were closed, yet she seemed very focused at one point, then worried, either she is having some sort of a stroke or she is doing something else, something Aeralin was very interested in knowing "well you know how old men are right? Never stop talking" Aeralin chuckled and leaned forward as Eszter asked her a question "well... There is one thing i would like to ask. What was it that you were so focused on? I couldn't stop wondering this whole time i sat here."

Stand as one. Is harder to do when we all don't share the same dream. We all don't want to survive. Some want to just watch this world burn He would think while listening to Garret. He was young. He still was a dreamer, but dreamers did the impossible many days. With everything settled and exchanged, there was not much left. Virulent was still oblivious their talks were being leaked to his assistant. His message was cryptic not by choice but more so because he was not totally sure .He knew many kids were at that school so it had a good chance. However, he did not like saying anything direct he had no proof of. Which reminded him, of his daughter. He hoped he had proof about those demons . If so, that makes 2 things he needed research further in.
The words of encouragement was nice to hear but it did not move Virulent. Not YET. He needed them to be closer. Be on the journey there. He needed that call saying they made it. ALL THAT, could be possible depending upon if they play their cards right. Hearing his last questions, Virulent would smile back. "I down anytime. Just message me time and place. As for my title. Xcoutal....otherwise known as Chief or leader of the Night Stalkers" Virulent admitted before placing hood on his head and putting a finger to his lips. He would then retreat into the other area.
Making it to the other room, he would enter where Eszter and Aeralin was at and would fold his arms. "I hope you was being nice to her Aeralin." He stated with a half scolding voice before looking at his assistant. He would then take a seat. "So, start at the beginning.. What all you know sweetie?"
It kind of bothered Yumeko that Valleria did not care about what happened to her team on the mission 3 months go. It was quite particular, but it wasn't really any of her business. She was just a woman at the beach, trying to enjoy her day. "Well, I hope the situation makes itself better, and that the missing team mate is found."
Yumeko would smile a bit. She was able to guess what she had written. Honestly, it was nothing harmful to do to another person, but Val seemed to snap a bit. Don't worry, I'm still rubbing the lotion on, I just wanted to play a little game is all." However, this was not like her normal games she played. She didn't want to scare the new woman off.
Rσϙ Oυɾɾσƙ would stay put, on edge, as Tabby circled him. When she suddenly made a weird sound his body jerked away as if in fright for a moment, one leg raised as if he was ready to turn ans run, but then he saw her arm put out for a handshake.
His eyes narrowed in suspicion.
What was this creature? He thought as he called him 'spicy boy' and made a reference to chopping him up like sushi. His face was one confusion and disgust alike. Apparently he had passed her test, maybe it was just a sniff test? He couldn't tell. He was so lost in thought that for a moment he forgot to shake her hand which he did promptly, making sure to squeeze it extra tight so she knew there was definitely still some tension in the air. But as he did so he did feel some relief when the subject was changed and Tabby marched over to Poppy. "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer my father always said." Roq stated plainly in response to Tabby talking about keeping friends close. He brushed nothingness off his shoulder as he looked around the area. There were lots of people. Most were with friends and family and were having a great time it seemed. "The ocean sounds good." He muttered after Tabby brought it up. He would definitely enjoy some refreshingly cold water. He hadn't been swimming for ages.
Roq couldn't help but notice Poppy's reaction at being called Angel. It wasn't really even a reaction. Just a tiny shift of the eyes, as if she had a flashback. He chewed his cheek in thought, but decided it wasn't something worth dwelling on at the moment. They were here to have fun, not dredge up old memories. He couldn't help but notice her sidelong look towards him, this was confusion. He froze, not sure what to do, but then realized she was looking behind him. He turned to see what she was looking at and noticed an ice cream place. That was when Chase mentioned them getting icecream first. Roq wasn't usually very observant, so he was impressed with Chase noticing the same thing. An introvert like him was good to have around for stuff like this.
"Tabby." He said firmly. "We can't swim without some energy first, we must go get ice cream..." He said this to Tabby because she was the most energetic, and if he could redirect her in the direction of the ice cream they would surely all follow. "Tabby." He said firmly. "If we don't, I might show you what real spice looks like." He'd say a bit mockingly, but all in good humor.
He tossed a successful smirk over to Chase, and make a hand motion as if to usher Poppy to step forth towards the ice cream parlor across the way. He was definitely excited to get some more ice cream even though he had finished his Popsicle. A hot day like this was too much without something cold.

Garret was...slightly surprised to hear he was their leader. It made sense, perhaps, for their leader to deal in information but... 'I guess I just did not expect to encounter the leader first, or for him to be here.' He thought to himself silently. He had also agreed to a fight at any point Garret wanted to arrange it, which was good as well. It would be...interesting to face a house so close to his family. 'And if he beat my mentor...I wonder what tricks he carries up his sleeves.' He thought to himself silently. The man would raise his hood and put a finger to his lips, clearly indicating Garret should keep that to himself. Which he would give a nod to in return, and in farewell, as they would both leave the room; though Xcoutal would remain in the building and Garret would exit it. Today had been far more productive than he ever would have thought, and he gained far more connections than he could have imagined. 'A house connected to my own, knowledge of my home, and a lead on a potential new ally.' He summed up to himself. It would take some time to process this stuff, and to look into new leads. And this was all only the first step. 'The road was never short, but at least I am walking the path now.' He thought to himself. Out of the room and back into the light, Garret's eyes would squint for a few seconds before adjusting. The quiet and secretive quiet of the shop was now replaced by the sounds of many people going about their day. Seeing as he had completed his objective, Garret debated on leaving the area or staying. There was always something to do, even during this week, but he was unsure if he should take a break for now or continue. As he mused, something would catch his eye though. A competition.
'I suppose I have some time yet left, and this is only a once a year occurrence.' He silently thought to himself. He saw the challenge was for a tea shop, or so it seemed, that was named 'Heart of Eterni-Tea.' Even if what was before him was not the shop itself; while rarely going there, he did recognize from his walks in the city itself. So he knew where the actual shop was. Walking over, he would see that the challenge would be a tea tasting competition with an unknown prize to the winner. The goal was to correctly identify the tea, or as many ingredients in it as you could if you knew not the name. 'Huh.' He softly said to himself as he read, not having done a competition like this before. He was not quite sure how knowledgeable he was on teas as well; while enjoyable, it was not something he ever tried to study or know every type of. But he had done many different competitions he was uncertain of in the past; volleyball, dancing...And all of those had turned out enjoyable and worthwhile. So perhaps this new competition would be as well. At the very least, it would prove entertaining and interesting to see how much he actually knew about the various teas. And to test his own experience against others. 'Perhaps I can even use this to challenge Dove in the future.' He thought to himself with a smile. Another, hopefully, victory to have claimed and speak of when next they met. Smiling at the thought, Garret would follow the directions to the competition at a casual walk with both spears on his back.

::======>>Valleria Teal<<======:: Valleria realized quickly she is not being friendly towards Yumeko; she didn’t even do anything to piss her off so why was she so on edge? Doesn’t matter “it would be interesting when the last member is found, I just hope all three will be bearable” Valleria chuckled a bit, she hoped she won’t need to deal with some annoying people in her team, it was hard enough dealing with random ones she just met like the boy from the library. Valleria frowned when Yumeko answered to her little pissy attitude “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have been so annoyed with it” she really meant it, there was no reason for her to be so mad about something so small.
