Myles - 5
Myles was not usually the sort to attend a fancy anything, and truthfully he had only stopped by for a few moments just to see. Curiosity got the best of him and now it had landed him here--looking at neat things, one minute, and...getting chased through a strange town that looked like something out of one of the old movies Jeremy kept on late at night. He didn't exactly know what was going on--but he could understand that when people started running, so did you. He wasn't sure where they were going, or what would happen if they didn't make it, but he let himself be jostled by the crown as he hurried, trying not to hurt anyone as they shuffled along.
Alexei - 10
Playing social was one of many of Alexei's duties as a public figure. Attending a charity was the perfect event to do something semi-meaningful, show up for a charitable cause, and leave. It was public enough that he could make himself known without having to go out of his way. He was just about to leave when, of course, something would happen. It couldn't just be a simple evening. It never was.
He was too done with everything to even be surprised, but he wasn't in his powered disguise to spare himself any humiliation of being recognized. With as much poise and control as he could manage, he followed the wave of the crowd towards the strange tear before them.
Loren - 9
Loren had only meant to escape the rain; the idea of a charity event was nice and all, but he was crowded enough and wasn't going to bring anything more home when they were already a bit tight on room. He had not signed up for a race away from a robot army, towards a static tear in the sky. He did not want an impromptu run.
He wanted to go home. He wanted to have dinner. He wanted to relax.
...He didn't really have a choice but to play along and keep moving if he was ever going to get any of those things.
Leander - 8
Being a photographer had its perks; Leander was being thrifty, trying his best to save up to make sure that if there was any lull in business, or any unexpected expenses, he would be fine to cover himself and his sister. A photography gig for a local newspaper was an amazing opportunity, so naturally he had accepted.
Was money worth being chased through a crowd of people running for their lives as a wall of laser-firing robots chased them, and a wall of static gobbled up the world behind him?
Possibly.
Probably not, but possibly. He couldn't help but hold his camera up and try to snap a few pictures before charging through the crowd with the rest of them. He had a job to do, and even if he didn't understand it, he lived for conspiracies like this. Being a Senshi gave him an insight to a completely different type of world, but this? This was...
Completely out there. No one would believe this. He wasn't even sure that he believed this.
...But the proof was always in the evidence, so he tried to gather as much as he could on the run out.
Soleiyu - 5
Soleiyu was not looking for trouble. He was not inside the building. He was minding his own business, people watching, and then all of a sudden he was here. Human, again. Or, close enough to pass for one. He didn't know what was going on. People were running. Robots--robots?--a crude mockery of a robot seemed to be chasing them down, and if the hackles on the back of his neck weren't raise, he might have gone to investigate. He had wits enough about him to know that the crowd wouldn't let him--and to know that this wasn't natural.
...He wanted to go home, and it seemed like the only option was following the crowd.

Jumping through the tear in the horizon was a strange sensation, like a dull wave of electricity rolled through your body. It wasn't enough to cause any harm, just enough to be surprising. The atmosphere changed immediately between the last platform and this one--suddenly, everything was dark. Stars speckled the sky and the glow of the sun was bright in the distance. Earth was visible, beautiful and radiant. A gaudy space craft had landed on the surface in the distance and astronauts were wobbling around in over-exaggerated space suits that look like some anticipated futuristic outfit designed fifty years ago. The air seemed lighter here and, though they could breathe, gravity was not working in their favor. There was a strange weightlessness that suddenly struck everyone. In the distance, the astronauts seemed distracted examining something; suddenly, the group of them looked up dramatically and pointed-- screamed--at the new arrivals. No, that wasn't right. They were afraid of something behind them. It would have been comical if not for the sudden fear that flooded the area; tiny little green aliens that moved like melted putty. They had strange lasers in their hand and began firing at the group of people. Warbling space sounds echoed around them and they spoke in a broken, jittery language. Well beyond the spaceship and the astronauts was another tear that crackled almost eagerly. In the distance, behind the aliens, gray static flashed and began to consume everything. You might not fear the strangely, little, green men--but you should fear their lasers; one fires and it hits the spaceship and it explodes. If you aren't scared of the static, you should at least be scared of that. Quote: Now isn't the time to take it easy; you've got a lot on your plate and have to keep moving forward if you hope to get out of here! Not only do you have to deal with strange gravity fluctuations that make you feel weightless, but you also need to avoid getting shot-- and outrun that static! All characters must roll one 10 sided dice to proceed!Quote: If you roll between 8-10 you manage to avoid any of the stray lasers being shot and you seem to have a pretty good grasp of how to run with this gravity. Things are a little slow moving but you're making good progress! If you roll between a 4-7 you manage to avoid the lasers but you are near enough to some of them that you may feel a burst of warmth passing you or have to deal with the loud, exploding sounds they make as they whisk by. Some lasers are hitting the ground and a strange shock wave may make you feel off balance. While you are still progressing well enough, you may find yourself stumbling or bumping into others as you hurry towards the escape. If you roll between a 1-3, you wind up struggling to get a hang of the gravity here; you may find yourself tripping often, bumping into people, or being thrown off balance and off course by some of the explosions of lasers hitting the surface of the moon. If you are particularly unlucky, you may find that some of the lasers seem to graze past you, leaving the sensation of sharp burns. You are most affected by the sound of explosions and the heat and light of the lasers as they sail past you. Please keep track of your roll totals in bold red font at the top of your post! If you choose to, you may respond to a prompt from a lower number than you rolled, but you cannot respond to a prompt higher than what you rolled! You can only roll once per prompt and if you make a mistake, simply strike out your post. Please do not delete rolls! You may continue to RP between prompts. The next prompt will be posted in ~48 hours. While you can join at any point in the roleplay, you cannot make up lost rolls!

Ryan sighed with relief when he finally pushed with the last of the crowd into the crevice. Then promptly groaned dramatically as he realized they were in another weird little hellscape.
Well, at least I can breathe out here, he thought to himself. Being on the moon was cause for concern, usually, but as long as the weird s**t happening kept him from dying while supposedly on the moon, there was a bright side. And a dark side, considering they were on the moon, hahaha okay Ryan shut up and run you idiot.
He took a deep breath and dug his feet into the... moon.... dirt...? Whatever, he launched himself forward and then shrieked when the moon's gravity launched him up more than he expected, and slowed his descent considerably. Okay, this was just freaky, and he hated every second of it. He pushed himself forward again as soon as his feet touched the ground, with as much force as he could, and went upward several more feet than he'd expected (again). This wasn't going to get any easier to get used to, he knew, but he still wished his brain would stop freaking out about it.
The alien's lasers whizzed around him and a nearby explosion made him flinch. Heat sizzled the air and he frantically tried to plant his feet for another touch down so he could go forward again.
Now I wish I hadn't thought about the Charity Ball at all, he thought with a hysterical laugh, because at least I'd not be here.

Oh for -
This was almost like Halloween, anything that could go wrong did go wrong, and she often found herself in disastrous circumstances during that incident as well. In fact, she distinctly remembered falling quite a fair way into an abyss the last time and she didn't really fancy a repeat performance. Unsurprisingly she continued to run reasonably quickly as the little aliens showed themselves and despite the challenges of the seeming lack of gravity she wouldn't be dissuaded.
She was getting out of this one, she wasn't even in a position to fight, so now more than ever she needed to find a safe spot.
It didn't go as to plan as she would have liked, but she did manage to make progress and having identified what looked like a safe location the red head made a bee line for it. Her progress wasn't as fast as she would have preferred, but in these circumstances she'd take what she could get. All being well she would make it to where she needed to go and their little visitors would continue to fire towards her with the accuracy of a stormtrooper.
She hadn't even noticed the fact that earth shone brightly in the distance, she was too preoccupied with what was in her immediate vicinity to pay attention to anything scenic... But maybe she'd have a moment to take it in when she finally managed to find a safer vantage point.

Regula Wilder Rolls: 9 | 2 Total: 11
***********
It did take Regula a few moments to recognise the man in front of him, however, the moment he started to speak it became abundantly clear that he was the missing cat that he'd been looking at. He looked peculiar in this form, particularly without his ears and tail, but it was definitely him. If there had been any doubt that it wasn't this would have been quickly dispelled by his rather vain query regarding the -
Was that what he thought it was?
His mind graced him with a brief, flashing image, of the bundled up scarf from the auction and something threatened to boil up towards the surface. Where in the hell had he found that? You know what, Regula wasn't even sure he wanted to know. It was in his best interests to tear his gaze away from it for the time being. This was particularly important when the static began to bear down upon them. They were about to be consumed themselves and he really didn't want this to be the end of his life.
"Just move," he uttered, grabbing the younger boy by the arm and hauling him with purpose through the crowds and towards the rift. Evidently there were benefits to being this large.
...Unfortunately, when they reached the other side of the rift things didn't go quite so swimmingly for him. No sooner had his feet touched the ground than things had escalated, tiny green aliens were in his midst and they were firing something at him that he most certainly didn't want to be hit by. It was to his great misfortune that he discovered that whatever place they had wandered in to now was significantly more challenging to move around in. It seemed that in this world, Regula did not find it easy to tread lightly and he soon struggled to gain any solid and reliable footing.
He knew where he needed to go, he could see it, he was just making exceedingly slow progress.
Gravity was not his friend.

February Bloom Rolls: 5 | 9 Total: 14
***********
Oh sweet merciful gods!
It really didn't take February much time at all to make her choice. When faced with encroaching robots, aliens and lasers it seemed to be a perfectly reasonable response to run away. Thus, it didn't take much of a push at all for the white haired woman to scamper away with surprising grace and speed. Despite her heels the woman was quite adept at moving in them and her sweeping steps carried her comfortably away from what should otherwise have destroyed her.
Truth be told she made this look easy and she surmised that this might very well be one of her odder dreams. Sure the shopping had seemed particularly vivid, but as someone who wasn't necessarily familiar with the magic of Destiny city, she wasn't inclined to believe that this entire scenario was a possibility in the real world.
...She didn't know why she had dreamt of shopping, but it was what it was!
She carried on, moving towards what looked to be a safer location and away from the peculiar little space men and their weaponry. She was in no position to really help anyone, in the chaos it seemed to look like it was every man for themselves, but that didn't mean that if someone did need assistance they couldn't call out for help! If she was nearby she'd give a whirl, she wasn't guaranteed to succeed, but she wasn't really the type to completely ignore others either...

Zeke: 3 Yolie: 2 Cherish: 5Zeke and YolieYolie diod not like the electyrical feeling. Or the fact the robots were ghone -- until they arrived on the quintessential sixties moonscape, Astronauts exploring in the dffistance fore ehsy djhe guieessed was a colony ON THE MOON!!! and she stuck a lip out, before getting a brilliant idea. "Space. TRhe fina.l vfrontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Her mission: To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before!" Following suych a stellar quote, she began humming the theme to Star Trek: The next Generation, only flying the Vulcan handsiogn of "Live long and prosper" when the astronauts turned, and screamed. A moment later, a laser burnt her side and she yelped. Zeke was far more attentive. Normally, he was the one makiong stupid comments, but today his cousin had that plum of skill, the younger man moving despite his frills and layers like an uncurling cat as, moon!graviuty or not, he launched for his cvousin as the aliens opened fire, and grabbed her by the waist after a laser burnt her side. Zeke wasn't skilled at keeping his balance in strange gravity, but it let him grab his cousin, shhielding her with his larger body as she yelp[ed a second time, Zeke using gravity top keep momentum as lasers made show around them, covering them in moondust as he trioed using the gravity difference to flee in a flow gliide, very badly. CherishCherish was quite happy to be away from the army of invading proto-Terminators despiite the electrical feeling leaping through the riip, but she did know the next location was likely one she wasn't keen on when she settled in on her spot on the moon. The gravity was different, strange, but she supposed she'd walked on the aships moored on the city she saw on her homeworld, and so she moved, taking a few testing sateps as she ignored the blonde idiot humming Star Trek and then looked back as the astronauts screamed. "Little green men. Seriously?" Cherish made a face, bevcfore sghe moved like flowiing water, dancing around laserfgire as Moondust covered her legs, the platinum blonde hissing unhappily as she moved, fleeing the Little Green Men rapiodly. Nope, not having this! Quote: All three are opwen to interaction!

Mei
There was no explanation for what had just happened.
One moment Mei was in a crowded room with several other people standing around as she was. The next- she was well… for lack of a better term, teleported to who knows where. Not Earth, that was for certain since she could see it off on the horizon; beautiful and radiant as it was, but still so very far away.
Even the Sun could be seen, shining brightly just beyond their planet, but from this distance it looked almost like someone had punched too big of a hole through a piece of oil slick colored construction paper where all the other little holes, stars really, were no bigger than a pin p***k.
Mei had been stuck admiring the skyscape when someone had pumped into her, josteling her from where she stood so that she started to float.
Yes- Float.
A startled yelp escaped her as she tried to grapple onto something, or someone but was left wanting as someone’s sleeve just barely brushed against her fingertips. Barely too far away to actually grab ahold of.
Too startled by the sudden loss of direction, Mei did not initially notice the little green men until one of their lasers shot past her. Although she wasn’t struck, it had come close enough to leave an angry red line across her upper arm where the skin was singed.
She drew in a hissing breath and glared in their direction only to then notice, as she floated upside down now, that their target had been either the astronauts or perhaps whatever it was they were frantically pointing at.
Still- Mei did not appreciate being caught in the line of fire. What more than that though, was that she liked even less that astronauts were in danger of being shot at instead.

Alise (total: 18 )
Alise had escaped the robots with ease, taking the ‘exit’ and finding herself... in space. Okay, weird, but still pretty cool. Alise had been to her homeworld a few times already, so it wasn’t a startling experience, but the astronauts and the lack of gravity were a new thing. Also, technically she’d be powered up all those times she’d been into space, but details.
She didn’t get much of a chance to appreciate the view or play with the whole floaty-ness though, as the astronauts suddenly were screaming and pointing at something in the distance like in those kaiju movies with Godzilla, only instead of a giant lizard, there were little green men- aliens like in the old cartoons. Okayyy, that was even weirder, but it seemed, disappointingly, that this was her cue to run again, unless she wanted to be zapped by lasers.
Or did she? Alise took her henshin pen out of her pocket, thinking she’d get a chance to power up and show off in front of everyone, only to find that there was something keeping her from transforming, the magic fizzling out like a lightbulb going out. Well, that was unfair, and possibly cheating on this strange magical realm’s behalf, but Alise didn’t have time to stew on it- it was time to get running.
Luckily she yet again had no problem getting away! —
Morie (total: 9)
Morie had been hoping that escaping from the robots had been the end of whatever was going on, and that she’d be back in the city with things back to normal. Unfortunately, it seemed that fate had other plans in store for her, and now she found herself on the moon. While Tochi might have ignored all the weird red flags this was setting off, Morie couldn’t help but inwardly question as to how they were here without special suits and not running out of air.
There wasn’t much time to think too hard on this, perhaps thankfully for the others present, and everyone was spared Morie’s questioning of reality as green aliens started attacking. Frankly, this was getting weirder and weirder, but the aliens didn’t particularly seem to care as to how legit Morie questioned this all to be, as they started shooting lasers at the group. Yet again Morie was on the move, just barely getting dodging being shot at, though there were some close calls a few times.
Honestly, just how much weirder was this going to get?
—
Anming (total: 11)
Anming was feeling a ton of regret for ever attending the ball, and wished she had just stayed home. It seemed that whenever she went out to any large gathering, something always went wrong, and today was no different.
Still feeling sore from the previous stampede, Anming was startled to find that she and the others were in... space? On the moon? It was extremely confusing, especially with the space craft and spacemen in the distance, and Anming almost wanted to ask them if they knew what was going on, if they knew at all.
And then the little green men showed up and started attacking. Realizing she was going to have to run again, Anming signed, but once again was back on the move. At least this time, she made it out successfully unscathed... —
Ilse (total: 10)
From a city to space, from robots to aliens, Ilse was nearing the end of her rope all too soon. Her day had been going so well, and then this happened? “This is ridiculous,” Ilse hissed under her breath, but the aliens didn’t particularly care about her feelings or anything like that, as lasers shot the spaceship, blowing it up. Okay, so they meant business, then- Ilse still didn’t care.
Running in heels, while dealing with the lack of gravity, was not the easiest feat to pull off. As if to mock her, Ilse struggled to maintain her footing, a laser bolt coming close to singing the hem of her skirts. Had they not been in the middle of another crisis with world-devouring static, Ilse might have stopped to yell at the little green men, to demand to know just what were they thinking. As it was instead, the young woman continued her struggles to escape, as explosions rocked around her and lasers continued to narrowly miss.
Her disappointment was immeasurable, and her day was ruined.

Rayna Farrell (( Roll totals: 7 + 10 ))
Was it because Rayna had visited outer space before or something just inherit that she was good at? At least the dress slacks she wore made it possible to jump and not worry that a dress would be affected by the low gravity. Watching as others got used to the lower gravity of wherever it was they were, the Moon, it seemed Rayna could start to admire the strange, cold landscape and almost was curious about interacting with the astronauts when of course, like a bad sci-fi movie, the aliens started arriving and shooting without warning. "What the actual heck," was her only murmured comment before she started to bounce towards the tear beyond the spacemen that were unfortunately drawing the wrath and ire of the little green men.
"Guess Mulder was wrong unless these guys aren't from Reticula."
Without much difficulty Rayna was able to reach the tear and jump through it. Perhaps it was selfish to not try and aid others but for the moment the young woman was just keen in surviving this little nightmare that everyone found themselves in. Every person for themselves right now. Unless things called for those trapped in this bizarro land needed to band together at the end or she on the off chance recognized someone then she would stick to getting through these worlds as soon as possible.

Ashley WilliamsTotal = 18Jumping through the tear in the horizon had been strange and whilst it hadn't been strange in a painful way, the dull sensation of what felt like electricity that had washed over her had taken Ashley by surprise to the point where she very nearly lost her grip on Harriet's arm–
Nearly, but not quite, the fingers of her left arm still holding on to her sister as grey eyes took in the sudden darkness of their environment and the way that stars speckled the sky even whilst the sun glowed brightly from somewhere off in the distance.
There hadn't been any real time to take in her surroundings however, because a gaudy-looking space craft chose that moment to touch down up ahead and Ashley felt herself struck by a strange sense of weightlessness.
And if that had been all to it then it would have been curious, if annoying–
But that the arrival of little green aliens had meant that, that wasn't all to it - especially given the fact that said aliens came complete with lasers that they had no compunction about firing.
Even so, and even despite the strange weightlessness, Ashley didn't think that she would have had much trouble on avoiding the lasers if she'd been on her own since it felt like she'd managed to have a good idea of how to work with the strange gravity.
She wasn't on her own though, and she wasn't about to leave her sister.
Even despite that however, Ashley managed to avoid the lasers - although she had felt the sudden burst of warmth as a few had passed by a little tooo close for comfort.
