Cedric stood up.
"Well, let's just have those that want to go, go, and those that don't wish to go, stay. I, for one, plan to leave. I'm not letting them keep me here anymore. We're all going crazy in here, don't you understand?"
"Psh. You're already crazy, idiot. I've heard you cry out in your dreams. We all have. You've killed two children, and you call yourself sane? You burned them to death, murderer!" sneered a patient, blocking Cedric's way. "Letting you out is a crime. I won't let any of you leave!"
"I didn't kill them!"
"Yes, you did!"
"I. DID. NOT!" roared Cedric, and threw a punch at the man, who retaliated with another punch. Soon, the two of them were on the floor, exchanging punches with fury.

"Oh, stop," Bess pleaded as the two men fought. She sat down on her bed, and held her hands on her ears while she shut her eyes tight.
Suddenly, Bess winced with pain and fainted on to her bed; it was a good thing she had already been sitting on it or she would have hit her head. She couldn't be woken up.
((Wewt! Drama! And... A reason not to rp much tomorrow since I probably won't be back till night. whee I'm going to visit someone. sweatdrop ))

Mira, who had been looking around the cave without finding anything interesting, let out an 'eep' when she heard Cedric and another man fight. She ran back in, and pulled at the guy's shoulders. "Stop it!" She yelled, but got thrown off.
She looked around for something to knock one of the two out, but only saw the beds, in wich one Bess lay. Mira thought she was sleeping at first, but then realised that one cannot sleep with this noise. "Bess?" she whispered, and got to her bed. After a poke, she still wouldn't wake up.
"Bess, please wake up!" she exclaimed.
"Help!"

Ankah stood up and walked over to the two men, giving one of them a swift kick in the nuts. "Listen. No one picks on the softies around here, except me." She said to the unnamed man who she kicked. "Get back in your piss stained corner and back the ******** off."
Ankah sat down on the floor next to Cedric and made sure he was okay. She figured that she sort of had a love-hate relationship with the rest of the more normal 'inmates', and one of them getting beaten to death at this point wouldn't be very good for her sanity.

Trey kicked the guy opposing Cedric in the stomach, then the nuts. "We're all insane in here; you are, too. So shut up, sit down, and release your anger/insanity on something besides a living person!"
He remembered how he had always gotten into fights at school. This made him feel normal for a few seconds. Then he realized that he, nor anyone in this room, was normal. He had finished packing, so he sat on his bed, to see who was coming.
(( Sorry I haven't been posting. Hurt thumb. gonk ))

Cedric shook his head and groaned, his body beaten and bruised. Being physically weaker than the other patient, he had easily been defeated, and would have been in serious trouble, had it not been for Ahkah and Trey. Getting up, he bowed, thanking the two of them. "Thanks, Ankah, Trey. You guys really saved me."
However, more serious matters were at hand, namely the condition of Bess. Quickly running over to the bed in which Bess lay, Cedric put his hand on her forehead. And sighed in relief. She did not seem to be in serious trouble. Turning to Mira, Cedric attempted to calm her down.
"Don't worry, I don't think Bess is hurt that bad. We should just let her rest. I don't think we'll be going out that door today, either. I'm not leaving without Bess."
