Everything vanished in an instant. The puffy gawdey pink replaced with silence, darkness and almost ruin. As if the party had literally just ceased to exist. Nightmare Moon glanced around before snorting. "finally!"
A grin of relief spread across her features before she realized she wasn't exactly alone. Turning towards this being that had been stalking her all night, NMM sighed, hands on her hips. "As much as I'd like credit for this, it wasn't me. What trickery are you playing this time changeling. I'm on to your games." She hissed. The thought now occurred to her that if the party and everyone else had vanished, we're they now stranded?

Your wonderings seem to start leading you towards the Las Venus' hotel. Images of the very pink party hall with all its delightful treats and beautiful music plays in your head as your body moves. Slowly the building comes close and close to view- hold it. Is that another Pae? The only other one you've seen other than your partner! You can't say you've seen anyone like him before, but you watch as he slips through the front doors.

Laz giggled as she ran ahead of shah! "Come on~ Catch me if you caaaan" She teased.
oh oh ! it was the hotel! yaaay more food and drinks! hehe
WAIT WAS THAT A GUY, "THERES A DUDE HEEEEEREEEE" She yelled at Shah.
"We gotta catch him!" Laz downed the rest of her sweetheart which wasn't much and threw the glass at the retreating figure, too drunk to realize that it is very rude and will get glass all over the place.
Of course she missed, she was drunk after all.
"dang it" She sigh before charging for the front doors. Its a good thing the glass didn't shatter at the doors or she would have gotten hurt.

Well, at least whoever did this had the courtesy to refill the drinks right now... is what Shah would normally be thinking. But right now she had a very drunk date at neither the time nor the place for it.
Her priorities shifted to getting the excess alcohol away from Laz.
Well, at least she wasn't panicking, though what was that about her parents being trapped at a Venus Day thing years ago?!
Hot DAYUM what was it with drunks and unexpected bursts of energy? It just seemed limitless! Shah wasn't particularly out of shape - she liked to consider herself the opposite, in fact - but, combined with her own buzz, it was actually rather difficult to keep up. She didn't really care about someone else. "Laz, Lazzy-boo, you should put the drink down--" Aaaahhhh... There it went... Operation 'Remove the Alcohol from Lazuryte': FAILED.
OH s**t WAS SHE WAS THROWING--
Shah didn't even have time to process what int the ever-loving Dragnid her date was doing before the sound of glass shattering echoed about the emptied street. At least she hadn't have hit her target... Her speed decreased as she had to pay attention to the sidewalk to avoid stepping on the shards of glass now strewn about everywhere, her eyes focused until she heard a resounding thud in the distance. When she looked up, she saw Laz had quite literally taken a door to the face.
That looked like it could have hurt.
"Laz, you okay?" She sped her pace up a bit to head over and help stabilize her date once more.

Despite Wellsprings pleas to stop, Aurelia kept marching forward. "Or we were teleported there for a reason and something dangerous means to intercept us there. I'm not sticking around somewhere I've been transported to against my will!" That and standing around made her antsy. "Of course I know where we are going. I have great sense of direction." She half lied. The wolf pae did have pretty good sense of direction, but she also had no idea if this really was the way to the hotel.
Thankfully it was. "Its really sort of...creepy we havent seen any other pae..." Or noise. Her ears were sharp, she'd hear even the quietest of sounds. But aside from their footsteps and breathing there was nothing. That wasn't normal at all.
Suddenly a movement up a head caught her eye. Another pae! "Do you see that? They're outside too, maybe they were also teleported. We should meet up." Even as she spoke she was picking up her pace, still dragging the poor sprite behind her as the mystery pae started inside the Hotel. "HEY WAIT UP!

But for all his whining, Wellspring never made an effort to actually break away from Aurelia. Nope, he just let himself be pulled forward by the arm half-reluctantly. Wait. Hadn't this sort of thing been going on for most of their life? If it had been a different situation, he might have paused to reflect on such musings.
Her next words brought him back to reality. Eyes wandering from side to side, he continued to voice his concerns aloud. "Yeah... It doesn't look like anyone has been here in some time." It was eerily lifeless. A pause. "Just where are we...?" He blinked and strained his eyes to look ahead as she perked up. "But they could also be the ones responsible for--" And then they were running. "Haven't you heard it's not good to talk to strangers?" Nope, nothing.

"Enfys..." he said slowly, full of uncertainty. His eyes never once left the other being, but his intense gaze dropped when the other boy began questioning things as well. Sure, it could be a trick, but it sounded pretty real to Enfys. "Uh... I don't know..." The teen answered, "I was thinking you would know." This was certainly strange... His dad would probably be worried sick if he didn't check in soon.
"There's the hotel." Enfys pointed out, although he realized that may not have been where Tolek had been before. "Uhm, that's the last place I was before here."
It was an eerily quiet walk to the hotel, where was everyone. Slowly he began to hear music break through the quiet and found himself relieved. There was still no one about, no sounds of others, and was the music in his head? "I don't like this..." He admitted to the other. He glanced over at his accidental companion, at least he looked tough, hopefully he could handle anything...
"Oh, look! There's someone," Enfys called out as he noticed a form slip into the building. Everything was ok, he still had a lot of questions, but he was certain everything was ok.

"I uh..." Neo paused, wondering if he had misunderstood or if he truly didn't need to thank the other. There seemed to be more important matters at hand though. "I actually don't know what happened," he answered. "I assumed it was a similar situation as the one I was in last year, although I did try to be careful with what I was drinking... However... I remembered what happened last year... Even if it felt a little off. This is just off." He explained.
"I came with my son though, and I really should be checking in on him." Neo was beginning to feel incredibly anxious. He had no idea what had happened to him, and he was certain it wasn't what he initially thought now. So what was it?
"It sounds like the party is still going on..." Neo said hopefully as he thought of the music. As they got closer he was aware of another entering the doors. "I guess everyone is just inside," he said, explaining why it was so quiet in here. He had no interest in the other form entering the hotel, minus the security it gave him.

Okay, it seemed like she had calmed down, good good. Now they could proceed forward. After offering his hand to her, he began to walk forward at a leisurely pace.
"Man, it really feels quite dead in here, huh...?" He openly mused as he glanced around at the abandoned buildings. "I wonder what this is all about... though I suppose we shall probably find out soon enough." On and on they walked... it probably wasn't that long, but the eerie silence sure made it feel that way. As it seemed they were approaching the outside of the building once more, he took notice of a new figure. "Suppose he knows what's going on?" he asked Kel in a soft voice before raising his hand and projecting to the stranger.
"Hey! Do you happen to know what is going on~?"
Oh, they were ignored.
Looking at Kel, he shrugged. "Guess we're meant to follow him?"

"I suppose so," agreed Kelebek quietly. She had relaxed somewhat, as Hjortur's presence was reassuring, but she was definitely still on high alert. She didn't trust any of these land Pae further than they could swim. What's more, this particular land Pae seemed.....shifty. She couldn't make out its form very well, but something seemed off to her.
Still, she was content to let Hjortur take the lead, and trusted that he wouldn't lead them into harm's way.
She tucked her hand into the crook of his elbow and walked with him, trying not to think about the dirt and dust of the road felt between her toes. She imagined the fountain in the hotel, and how they'd soon be back and she'd be soaking her fins once again.
Tolek frowned, shaking his head. "Don't know," he confirmed, "Let's find out." He had a clipped way of speaking, short and to the point as if he didn't mince words. Talking might be necessary for some Pae, as he had learned, even if he didnt like wasting time on words.
He merely nodded at the mention of the hotel and started moving in that direction. Yes, the place with all the people earlier. So how had they wound up out here? As they progressed, he would divert into some of the surrounding buildings for a peek, but still no other living thing aside from himself and the other boy. Strange. Unsettling.
Movement! A predator's glare locked on the shadowy figure up ahead. The chase was on!

Deciding the best course of action would be to try to move back towards the motel, Fortuna decided to wait and puzzle over the mystery of how they ended up outside after they returned. It was kind of creepy out here with no one else around. A cursory check into some of the other buildings proved that they too were deserted.
"Does this sort of thing happen to you often?" she asked, trying to lighten the mood. At least she could hear music now, likely from the party. As much as she had sought some quiet from all the bustle earlier, it would be a relief now to find a crowd of Pae. There was someone! "There we go! Almost back to the party! Come on, let's go," she urged Tocino, trotting towards the hotel's light.
She didn't particularly like the fact that they were rushing towards potential danger on our anniversary. However if there were pae in there that needed help and they could give it, she couldn't rightly stand idly by either regardless of what day it was. Dyas gave her mates hand a squeeze, not letting go for a moment as they headed towards the hotel.
Right as the doors came into view, she noticed the movement of a pae up ahead. The first they had seen since being teleported outside. Maybe they needed help...or maybe they were the cause of all this. She turned her head to look quizzically at her mate. Only way to know was to confront the pae, but what did Azure think?

Carnelian shook her head. "No, I wasn't out here before. Just...all of a sudden I was out here with you. It doesn't look like anyone else is around." She frowned when he asked what the rush was. "My family is in the hotel," she told him. "I want to get back to them." Amynta especially. She couldn't imagine how badly her sister was freaking out about now since she just up and disappeared.
Oh, she liked this one. He had seemed as confused as she had been at first but he adjusted quickly. She wondered what was going on in his head now. Giving another chuckle she smirked. "Smart male," she praised. "Well? Shall we see what's going on back at the hotel?"
The closer they got to the hotel, the more she heard music. "Can you hear that?" she asked her...acquaintance. Squinting, Ursula thought she saw a figure. She, however, was in no hurry to find anyone. "This is very strange," she murmured.
