Fang had grabbed the towel Frea handed him with a smooth arc of his arm. His eyes on Fay to clean her. It didn't take long to clean her up with Frea's help. While he wasn't paying attention she sunk into the water. He waited patiently for her to rise up, but by the time she did she had found someway to give his makeshift collar the slip. "What the hell?!" He shouted as he stood to his feet, but it was too late. She made quick work of the gave and then was gone. He could hear the faint sound of her whip making quick work of the trees. He chased her out to the edge of the cave, but Fang knew it was too late. He stood there for a moment. He didn't really know how to feel. "DAMN HER!!" He roared furiously slamming his fist into an edge of the cave and causing a massive chunk of stone to fly off with a cloud of splinters and dust. His breathing came out in bellows of anger for a short minute.
Fang stood there until his emotions subsided and then walked back to the others. He shot a dangerous look at Fia's taunt. "Oh, if we ever see her again she's going to be roadkill alright. If you're lucky I'll let you finish the job." He was happy that Frea was impartial to the mess. She didn't seem to care one bit that the trouble causer had left. Most likely this would be best for their group. But deep inside he felt betrayed. He had enslaved her, but also he had given her mercy. He had the right to take her life for attempting to take his. She was his pet. Now, he was alone. Well not really. He had his team. They may not be pets, but they were company and he'd have to look on the bright side of things.
Fang would sit down on a rock to think. "Well, let's get moving then shall we?" He would pick up his bags and head for the mouth of the cave. "Fia. Frea. We'll find a new cave. This one leaves a bad taste in my mouth." He wasn't usually very sentimental, but he hated one thing more than most; being left behind. And this cave would always remind him of that. Theyt'd find a new cave to take shelter in after they traveled a bit north. "We will need to make camp closer to the chasm. Let's just travel north for a while then take refuge..." He planned to march for as many miles as he could before finding a cave to settle into. Hopefully a large one. Something where they coudl take a fortified position and make a semi-permanent base. He woudl ignore Frea and Fia for this trip except when they needed help. He would gladly carry whatever they wanted. By the time they would reach the new base of operations he would be himself once again. Sometimes he just needed to brood for a while.

 "Care about yourself first."
Frea watched as Fang became upset, his actions violent and most likely to hurt himself. With pieces of the wall flying off from his punch, it was easy to guess how much power he put into that punch. Even if his skin was strong, it may still leave a bruise, or redness on the surface. Since the man had not attempted to treat his hand, it should be fine, she would not pay attention to that further.
It was surprising on how much Fang had reacted to Fay running off. She would have thought that he would be less emotional, seeing that they did not get along well and only was in each other company for a short while. But then, it was Fang and not any normal companions, so she should stop applying too much common deduction on her groupmate. Actually, she did not need to deduct his reactions in the first place. Nevermind.
For the leaving new teammate, it did not leave much feeling on her. Again, despite having a common point on being faunus, they were a different kind and had not talked for long. Most interactions Fay did in the group was with Fang, even if those events ended in violence and whatnot. In general, it easily turned back to a stranger to her, when that person left. She may remember their face, but she would treat them as polite as another stranger, and no more than that. It was troublesome to feel something for every single person you met. It would hurt her judgment on things.
Since she had packed the majority of her items when she made breakfast earlier, her process of organizing her luggage was quick. "Alright." The spare ingredients had been turned into healing ointments, so the size of luggage lightened enough for movement. She could sense Fang's mood changed, which she would leave that alone. The horned woman was not one good with comfort. Let the pink-haired woman do it. She would be there for backup if anything happened. Fay's leaving surely didn't phase the lady any more than making her feel like there was more room to breathe, less of a pain in the ear with her constant spitting curses at the woman for her snarky remarks. As much as their conflict was also Fia's fault, she would never agree to that. It was Fang's way of taking it in that concerned her. Fia too sensed the bitterness behind the words he spat, the way he eyed her making her smirk drop lightly but not out of fear, more of the uncertainty of his own emotions at this point. Why did he feel so upset that she left? Did he start feeling something towards her in the brief moment he had her around? Curious pale hues cast upon his own for answers as she shrugged lightly. "Didn't get a chance to make her pay for stealing my mother's ring.." she stated, crossing her arms behind her head that he might have just rejected to be embraced around as she headed back into the cave to pick her things up.
Watching wasn't as pleasant as she imagined it would be once she got rid of his little pet, especially how he seemed like he had lost something important, more or less betrayed by someone important. When was the last time she felt that way? She couldn't recall, the one person she should have felt that way about had betrayed her even before her conception, she never had expectations from the rest of the world. There were occasions though, where she let her guard down and she too was in the same state of mind as he was...maybe. Although, the problem here was she had no idea how she should make him feel better. He refused a hug, the one thing she knew how to awkwardly do. What else? Would he feel better if he hurt her? As painful as that sounded, her mother sure enjoyed that.
Curious hues cast over to Frea almost wondering if she was intending to do something to make his mood seem any better, probably her feminine charm that Fia clearly lacked. It often made her jealous that a lady like Sheepy could just bat her lashes at a man and he'd be melting all over her. Fang was a man too, how would he resist her charm? With her bag over her shoulder now, she walked by the faunus as the two gave the man his space for a bit, letting it all sink into his system, letting him steam off in his own quiet way before the silence began to itch. Fia was often comfortable in silence, but his silence itched her more than it should. A deep sigh escaped her lips as she glanced over the faunus, almost quietly indicating to her that she was going into the battlefield as she tried to catch up to Fang.
"You know, when I lived with mama... I found an injured bird once. It was furiously trying to fly away from a dog that was trying to kill it." she paused, nearly grimacing at herself to call that monster her mother. "I was a child so I obviously felt bad for it and rescued it, hid it from mama and tried to tend to its wounds so it could live free again. Y'know, back in the sky or tree where it belonged." she said, glancing back down at her feet while they walked and once over to Frea so she wasn't too far off before she continued. She couldn't have Fang moping over her wandering off too next. "While it was healing, that silly bird pecked my hand when I tried to feed it and flew into mama. She didn't hesitate and snapped it's neck as easily as the dog would have." she said looking back at him with a little nod. As horrible as it was to even bring up such a gruesome story to him, it spoke of her mad inexperience with dealing with situations like these. "Not meaning to bore you with a story like that, but it just shows how you cant show kindness to creatures that just think of themselves as victims. That stray kitty was like the silly bird I sheltered...although I do wonder if there will be a mama in her story too.." she ended with a little twinkle in her eyes, the thought of someone snapping the kitten's neck was oddly pleasing to her but at this point, she wasn't sure what Fang would have to think of it.
Assuming she might have just made the situation more awkward than it was, she reverted her attention to the faunus, slipping her hands into her pockets as she headed back to her. As much as she wasn't one for initiating a conversation with someone she barely took interest in, she wanted to divert Fang's mind from the silly story she just told him and his lost pet. Talking aloud to the faunus seemed like a good option. "Sheepy! What do you think we should have for lunch? Apart from...earthy produce?" she stated, tapping her chin in thought.

Fang was happy to be left alone to calm his nerves. Both Frea and Fia had respected that more than he would have thought. He rarely got so emotional in a sentimental sort of way, so this was a new thing for him too. It was just hard to be left. Maybe it was a hidden fear that he had never realized he had. A new fear. He wanted companions... He wanted a family, but being rejected by others was so painful. Maybe he was overacting? His heart hurt in ways he had never really known possible though, even with such a tiny encounter. He had to choose his companions more carefully. That is what he needed to do.
Near the end Fia finally approached him. He would look over to her with a somewhat somber, but puzzled look as she described a situation with a bird and a mutt, and then how her mother killed the poor creature. Something was off to him. Fia was usually the cruelest, but she had a kind side. This was just that. He saw it more than most people, but it was still rare."The moral of that story..." His voice was but a whisper, but his round and curious eyes were obviously processing it quickly. "Is that life is best lived alone?" He asked her, but at the same time his tone implied that that was the conclusion he had drawn. He looked at the ground with some sorrow. This couldn't be life. He had lived that life. There had to be a different meaning. Fia interpreted it as targeted kindness to those who were not victims. That was probably true, but there had to be more to it.
Fang spaced out for a long moment as he pondered the story. Lost in thought he didn't even hear Fia and Frea talking about food. "What if loveisn't a lie..." He knew that loneliness was a joke, and he had always thought love was too, but what if- "What if love just needs to be protected?" He would say aloud. His demeanor always had a weird way of switching between innocent and naive, to being a brutal maniac, but now it seemed to hover between the two awkwardly. "Fay was obviously a wrong choice... but what if that bird just needed to be protected... You would have been happy with it. It would not have tried to escape... It would not have died. You would not have suffered..." He shook his head feeling embarrassed. He was so caught up on this concept. He didn't love Fay in any way, but her leaving him just made him realize that he was searching for more where there clearly was nothing to be had.
Fang would suddenly shake it all off and walk over to both Frea and Fia. He would put an arm over both of their shoulders and smile a big toothy grin. "Well, I've been a bit too sappy...but can I just say how much-" He stalled, unsure what to even say. What did he even want to say? "I'm... I'm thankful for the company." That was pretty bad he thought. Oh well, he sucked at this kind of stuff. He would lower his arms and walk forward and stop. With his back to them he would speak once more. "I think I just have always wanted people to care for. I just need to choose the right people...I choose you." And then he would walk forward to scout the area one last time.
It didn't take long before he spotted a cavern. It would make a perfect base of operations he thought. He would return to them with the intel, hoping they decided on what to eat today. He was famished.

"Care about yourself first." As expected, the pink-haired woman had moved up to make an attempt at comforting Fang, after sneaking a glance over her direction. Fia's story was something interesting to think about, and Fang was clearly doing so. Not the choice of story she would be hearing about, but it connected somewhat with the current situation. Something for discussion, lessons to learn. Each of the lessons Fia and Fang mentioned were true in a way. In a way, it all depended on the mental mind of a person. Things happened depended on your choice and others, which also related to you luck and your instinct. Anything could happen.
She watched the human woman hung back on her pace, striking up a conversation. Violet eyes glanced at Fia's face, feeling that she could guess why the woman started the conversation when usually it was not the case, aside from emergencies and necessities. She made no mention of her guess and followed the pink-haired one's question. "I suppose herbs, plants and whatnot bores people occasionally." The horned woman was still perfectly fine with eating all those herbs, plants and bread. It brought benefits to her stomach system and helped staying healthy in a way. "We can try catching some rabbits, some birds or if we lucky enough, some boars on the way to our potential camp. Any spare meat can be set to dry and stored longer." Dried meat was good for long-term travelling. It would not spoil easily, though not many would like the taste.
Frea did not hear all what Fang murmured to himself as she answer Fia, but she could still see the hovering of the expressions on his face. He looked lost, like a child, while did not seem like a child himself, looking like someone who thought too much to be like one. The keyword she heard from him was "love". What type of love did he have, or did he not experienced that at all? She could see Fia and Fang had some type of bond and maybe interest for Fay, but love? That was rather difficult to weigh. Love for her was only her parents, connected by blood. Because that blood never betrayed her, so she did not know what else connected with love. Perhaps a bond, a respect, loyalty, but that would be up for discussion.
Fang's weight pressing on her shoulder shifted her balance a little, as she felt herself kind of being pulled closer to his heat, and maybe his smile. The tenseness she did not know she had disappeared, seeing that the man had looked better. Guess Fia's comfort worked, that was good. "I...see. Thank you." She was unsure how to react to his sudden confession of feeling, but she would take it. So far, their journey was fine, even with little clashes and then. "I suppose I had a safe and normal trip with both of you. It was better than any other teammates I worked with before, at least." Despite Fia's hostility to her, the human woman remained professional somewhat, even if it did not mean Frea would develop any liking to the female human.
The information of a nearby cavern brought her attention, quinting her eyes to look in the distance. Her sight was not as good as a hunter faunus, so she could only make out a shadow in the distance. "That is good news to know that we had reached our destination." MOOD ♠ Serious || OOC ♦ || POST COUNT ♥ 25 OUTFIT ♣ Purple strapless top and matching outter coat. Black pants. Lashes fluttered as the woman stood dazed and puzzled as he was looking at her earlier. Was that a way to interpret it too? She couldn't tell, her brain didn't quite function that way which was probably due to the situations she had grown up around that channeled her to think a certain way. "I suppose..." she mumbled to herself in response, shrugging lightly to herself as she chose not to ponder too much over the same.
Fia's attention now back at the woman, nodding as she acknowledged the woman's words in accordance to her own. Her brow raised upon the mention of meat, as much as she liked the idea, she did wonder if the faunus would be alright with the same. She was the herbivore kind to begin with and she simply assumed she wouldn't be alright eating something with flesh and bones...and a life. Although, she decided to refrain from breaking the peace to make one of her snarky comments about the same. "Sounds good, maybe I can set a trap for rabbits nearby. If we are lucky, we might just catch a stubby one." she snickered, "Birds don't sound very appetizing after thinking about that rascal mother killed." she shuddered at the thought, although she wouldn't mind having one if they did manage to catch one.
"What if loveisn't a lie..."
Curious eyes shifted back to the male as she mumbled to himself. Love. The most curious emotion of all. She never was one to receive it yet she assumed she knew she felt it for Fang. Why? She could never tell, but she assumed she did. Pale hues never left the male, even narrowing as he continued, considering trying to reflect back on her own feelings for the bird. From what she recalled, she did feel bad when her mother heartlessly killed it, but she did learn from that, besides the perks of going against the woman of the house. "How does...it even make sense?" she asked herself, looking away from him as she crossed her arms across her chest, tapping her chin in thought. She did protect the bird, not love it, she just wanted to help it recover, was that too much?
Before she could force herself to process things through his views, she felt his arm drape around her shoulder, eyes cast back to him. Her brows knit lightly noticing his close proximity to the faunus woman. Even if she was being comparatively nice to her at this moment, it didn't mean she would let her remain close to the man she loved. He was hers and hers alone, hence he was off limits to her but he was going through some sensitive time, maybe he needed this? Even so, she made a little huff, looking away from the two as she quietly took in what he had to say. "You're welcome." she mumbled, inching away from him as she passed a glance to the smaller woman and huffed yet again. "Well, thanks to your magnetism, you nearly had yourself a harem to look after." she added.
Not long after, once Frea pointed out their new shelter for the night, she tossed her bag over to Fang before she would take a few steps back. "I'll be setting up a few traps for our protein source." she stated, wandering away to find a few suitable spots.

Fang liked Frea the more he got to know her. She was cold. That was for sure, but she also had a elegance about her and a softness underneath her shell that made him think she would make a good life long companion. Just like Fia had shown herself to be through the time they had spent together. Such an odd thing. A lifetime spent alone. So many close calls, and now he had some luck, finding other freaks willing to tolerate him all within a year's time. Had it really been a year? He wasn't sure. Fang didn't keep track of the time very well. He just knew his own age due to the passing of the seasons. That was about all he paid attention to when it came to time. Fia was always so hard to understand. When he had placed his arms around the two she immediately went back to being grumpy. He would take his hand and force her chin towards him for a second just to make her look in his eyes once before releasing them both. Some day he wanted to understand her, but today that was not likely to happen. Frea seemed a bit off guard, but she embraced his proximity after a moment. That was the soft side of her he liked. It was a most unusual thing for him to see, it made him feel like he was in a zoo watching some beautiful, yet mysterious creature. No pun intended since she was a faunus an' all. "Harem? What is that?" He asked ignorantly just before he caught Fia's bag with a grunt. He would look back to Frea and shrug. "Let's take this to the cave I guess. Time to set it up before nightfall."
He couldn't help but catch himself looking back and forth between the two ladies in a sort of cheesy fondness. Though, Fia would disappear into the trees just a moment later. He couldn't help but think about it all as he setup camp just inside the cave with Frea. What was this weird bout of feelings. Must be that legendary sense of Friendship he always heard people in cities speaking about. Fang shook the feelings out of his head as he spotted a small boar in the distance. Just outside the cave. He hadn't seen one in ages, but they did live up north closer to Vale then he usually cared to venture. This was perfect. His eye's turned savage as his whole body reverted into 'kill mode.' His muscles rippled as he darted into the forest with lightning speed. He dived after the boar and missed it, but it slammed into a tree which gave him enough time to pull his staff out and smash it upon the head. Knocking it out cold. He was breathing heavily, blood oozing from his lip. He must have sliced it in the bush on his first dive.
Fang carried the creature back to the cave for the others to view. He was like a happy cat sitting at one's doorstep with a dead sacrifice to his masters.."Dinner!" He said with a somewhat raspy voice. If one looked close enough they could see the murderous energy still lingering behind his eyes. He was like a murder puppy. "Should I gut it over there?" He asked Frea motioning over to a medium sized boulder off in the distance. They didn't want it anywhere close to where they were going to setup camp in the cave just a ways over. He looked around for Fia. He subconsciously needed her approval most. She liked killing just like him.

 "Care about yourself first."
So the final decision was on the rabbits then. Frea was fine with that, as it meant she did not have to make an effort to aim were she to hunt. While rabbits could be as fast as birds, they remained on the ground, instead of flapping wings and causing confusion in that way. More and softer meat even, though she could understand a person's liking for something chewier. "Alright." Her gaze turned to Fia, making a nod in acknowledgment of the choice.
The horned woman could feel the daggers staring her way from the pink-haired human. Thankfully, they separated from the group contact peaceful enough, as she did not wish for any fight. Her lashes flutter at the mention of the word "harem", the definition she had an unfortunate chance to come across. It was understandable that Fang did not know, and she almost huffed at that fact, hoping that she could have not taken the past solo quest that related to that word. Nothing was wrong with the idea of the word in particular, but she had bad experiences that she would not wish to remember.
Moving along, she followed Fang's lead into their new cave. The place was bigger in size, in return colder inside. Placing her luggage in the corner with the least wind, she moved to set other things up, seeing that everyone went to find food, including Fang who dashed out earlier. His presence changed in that instance, the killing glint strong in his eyes. She felt that glint should appear on Fia also, by a strange hunch. Within a few seconds, she could hear thuds and something heavy hitting the ground in the distance. It was some kind of bigger animals, a boar perhaps, since the more dangerous type of animals took a longer time to kill and better instinct.
True enough, the man returned with his prize, a proud expression in his eyes. Her hand twitched, almost wanting to give him a head pat for a job well done. He almost looked like between a cat or a dog trying to offer the catch to the one he favored. To be able to see such a strange image may mean she was getting quite tired. Tapping twice on her temple to wake herself up, she nodded to Fang's suggestion. "Yes. That should be fine. Do you require assistance?" Fia's knit brows and distaste was much more evident with her frowning at back at the male when he turned her chin over to face him. Why did he have to be so touchy with the faunus too? Unpleasant thoughts nested upon her head as she was tempted to elbow him before inching away, making her feelings more evident but he was too dense for the same. Simply ignoring his question upon her referral of his "harem" she moved ahead to find the catch the women had agreed on.
Shortly after the male had caught the boar and had been enquiring about gutting it, the pink haired woman returned, with her own catch but in a mood foul than ever. She was dragging the hesitant one by a rope around it throat as it dug and tugged against the terrain beneath them while its dead partner's limp body lulled with every swing of her arm. The closer she got, the reason behind her foul mood might have gotten more evident, there was an evident bruise on her forehead and sunken teeth marks on her hand. It might have seemed that Fang's little outburst had scared her catch before they could be victims to her little setup which made her act on instinct and dive for the kill just like he did a while ago, hurting herself in the process.
Eyes cast on the big catch the male had before the cave entrance before glancing down at the woman within. Nimble fingers inched up to her bangs, giving them a little brush to hide the bruise as she reverted her attention back to the male, noticing his own busted lip. "You sure had a good time." she stated, idly reaching for his lip, running her thumb against the wound as she wiped off most of the blood. "Quite an idiot you are." she added as she pulled her arm away, glancing down at his blood stained against it. A smirk played on her lips as she brought it up to her lips, licking it away as she dragged her bunnies away from the mouth of the cave.
Holding the rope under her foot while she drew out a dagger to skin and gut the dead pair, she glanced back at the male as he planned on gutting the boar over the bolder she wasn't too far from. Humming to herself a tune she wasn't even sure where she heard, she cleanly sliced its head off, followed by its skin, bringing up the handle to her lips while she resorted to using her bare hands and yank out its fur. Her features began to turn more relaxed as she continued, almost like she was enjoying this much more than she should, hues even reflecting a sense of pleasure and excitement. Bloody hands soon placed the skinned creature on a boulder to avoid contaminating it by placing it down on the terrain.
Eager hues now shifted to the live one, watching it visibly tremble just brought her a sense of joy that she couldn't quite comprehend. Blood stained hand reached for the creature as her other hand went for the blade. Lips curled into a playful smirk as she ran the blade along its torso, fingers sinking deeper to keep it from flailing around as much as it was, sinking deep but not deep enough to kill it right away. "This little bunny needs a little more discipline, besides, all this adrenaline rushing through your veins.. won't you taste much better?" she stated, passing it a grin as she brought the handle back to her lips, muffling the same tune as earlier as her hands went back to yanking its fur from the incision she made. Ah, the little squeaks were like music to her ears right now, the way its beating heart was felt against her palm, the scent of blood. It felt like an odd sense of high she couldn't get enough of.
Eyes shifted over to the male then to the faunus, lingering a little longer at her almost like implying something. Would Fang forgive her if she tried some killer stunt like such? Maybe not, but the thrill was overwhelming she might have just yanked a little too hard that the poor creature finally gave up. Poor little creature, it didn't even put up much of a fight. How upsetting.
Handing over their additional source of protein, she decided to take a walk to wash her bloody hands off but before she could, her attention shifted to the heads of the rabbits she mauled. Picking them both up by their ears, she placed them on either of her hands, unsure of what to do with them, she held them out to both her "partners". "You guys want to keep souveniers?" she asked.

Fang turned his head like a confused dog at Frea's lack of a response. It wasn't that she didn't respond, nor was it that she failed to respond happily. She just had a subtle way about her that confused him at times. She had so much self control. Maybe too much self control he thought, but he would take what he could get with a toothy grin. "I can gut it myself. I make quick work of animals like this." He said a bit possessively. He wouldn't admit, but he had a sort of ritual when gutting creatures and relished it. "I'll head out then-" He started when Fia returned. She too, was injured, and not too happy about it. Fang didn't actually notice his wounds. Not yet at least. He tasted blood so he assumed something was cut, but blood oozed from his lip rather casually as he watched Fia walk back towards them. He was far too deep in his mania too feel concerned about her injuries right now.
Fang smiled brightly at Fia's remark. A bit too brightly. "Dinner!" He repeated. "Though, your catch is more tasty if you ask me. We should eat that for dinner tonight and just smoke the boar for later. I prefer rabbit any day to pork." He had a nasty habit of going for the biggest thing, even when it didn't taste as good or suit their purposes. Which meant that with Fia around he ate better food. And with Frea, it would be prepared all the better! This was an ideal setup for quality of life he thought.
He would stand there as Fia rubbed the blood from his lip only to taste it herself. "I may be an idiot, but at least I'm not a vampire." He chuckled. He started towards the boulder, but stopped to admire Fia make quick work of her own prey. "If you want to know someone, you have to watch how they gut their meals..." He whispered to himself. To him this was a fact of life. It was like how someone brushed their teeth, or put their clothes on. Fang assumed everyone in the world enjoyed gutting animals, but he just didn't know better. Someday he'd watch Frea do it. Speaking of which he turned back towards the cave and waved Frea over. "On second thought, I'd like for you to help!" He didn't want help, he wanted her to do it so he could see the difference between her and Frea.
Fia was heading off to wash her hands, but not before taking a stop to offer them both the heads of the bunnies. "Yes, please." Fang said accepting her gift. He would take it from her and pull on its ears playfully. Such an odd thing. An animal's face devoid of life. He would look into its empty eyes and imagine the life that was once there. Someday he would experience death. He probably wouldn't enjoy it, but he wondered what it felt like to fully leave one's body. Was there just nothing? Or did one truly go to the places called heaven and hell? He would toss the bunny head into the air like a ball as he pondered this.

 "Care about yourself first."
Since Fang asked for her assistance, she moved towards the two, intending to provide some type of support. Since Fia had finished with the rabbits, her target would be the boar, which draped itself over the bolder, bleeding from its wounds. There were many ways to handle this and she had to think for a few seconds. "Since the boar are large, is there any parts would you prefer to take care of?" It was reasonable to divide up the work to prepare this boar, increasing the speed of getting their dinner.
Pulling out a sharp knife, she cut at its neck and left a small bottle to hold the dripping blood. Then there was another bottle after the first as she cut more area on the boar, increasing the blood flowing out of the dead creature. With the process of draining the blood, it would be less messy with each cut and reduce the cleaning up after meat preparation. For the blood, she would have other uses, mostly for testing purposes. About a few seconds later, all the empty bottles were filled with a red liquid, its smell metallic. Even though these disappeared in her bag, the scent wafted the air and her eye twitched when she mell it. To be honest, she would prefer vegetable to meat, just because of the smell when having to prepare the meat.
She would pause in her work for a moment to take notice at the rabbit head in Fang's hand, head calculating. The fur or bone of the head area had different properties that could be taken as specialized material. Or as a souvenir, as Fang and Fia may have liked. She was fine with either.
The next step was skinning the thing. She chosed her starting area, dividing parts to get each skin. Even though the skin was not cut in a large piece, she should be able to use it through other means, since the smaller patches was cut clean, without harming the tissue under. While she may work slower than normal means, her skinning process left many ingredients to work with, separating meat with skin.

Fia almost felt tempted to pat his face after him reacting so adorably to her remark, even him admitting he preferred the meat she brought over."Well, good thing I caught them then." she stated with a smirk of her own. With a little roll of her eyes, she shook her head lightly to his remark of her being a vampire. "It's just your blood that I care about." she stated with a playful grin of her own.
Hearing Fang call for the sheep faunus, she might have had a rush of fury from the thought of them working together, although a part of her wanted to see how the frail little woman would work with a creature so large. Seeing as she was taking her own sweet time with each step, the woman took the liberty of washing her hands off of the blood and return to catch Fang playing with the rabbit head she presented him. Pale hues found it much more fascinating watching the man instead of the petite woman. A while of watching him and she took the spare head, holding it up behind him by the ears before passing a little giggle. "You'd make a cute bunny faunus apparently. " she teased.
Placing the head away on a rock, she headed closer to the cave to start a fire, collecting twigs, dried leaves and placing rocks around as she built a safe space for it before she drew out her lighter to ease and speed things up. Once the fire started, she headed back to bring her skinned catch and the head, placing it next to her while she began tying the limbs on to sticks she kept aside for the same. Glancing back at the petite woman to check if she wanted to marinate it with any of her special herbs although, she wasn't planning on asking her directly.
"Hey Sheepy, do you wish to bathe my body in your spices?" she would hold up the dead bunny head over her face as she pretended to mimic how it would state the same, pitching her voice up a notch to add a more comical effect. "I don't mind not bathing in spices anyways...I mean, I am delicious either way." she would add, drawing it over to face herself now as she cocked a brow. "Someone's being cocky now, for someone who's dead." she spoke to it, running her fingers along its petite head, feeling along it's soft fur.

Fang simply never knew when Fia was being serious or joking, but he did get the vibe that she was more serious about caring about his blood. Did she want to eat him?! No, that couldn't be it. He had never seen her engage in cannibalism. Maybe she meant it in the 'I want to protect you' sort of way. He would return a smile and flip his hand at her as if to toss what she said over his shoulder in a playful way. Part of him did wonder what Fia's blood tasted like. He'd have to find an excuse to taste it sometime. Maybe in their next fight.
nodded at Frea's suggestion of splitting up the work. He would stay back and watch her start the work for a while. Shooting a knowing glance towards Fia as she approached. She likely knew his angle. "I can help, but I won't be as methodical as you are. Not in the same way at least..." He said as he let her finish most of her work so that the materials she wanted would be unblemished. He would then step in and start his work. With swift cuts he would hack off the legs. The joints taking the brunt of the slashes flew off with ease. He would flip the knife in the air subconsciously and catch it with his teeth as he switched to a different knife which he used to hack through tendons. His hands moved fast and within a matter of minutes he had the bulk of the rest of the meat that Frea had not gotten to cut cleanly out. The grass around them was anything but clean, but Fang didn't mind a mess, as long as it was not on the food. It would attract even more food! Nothing tasted better than wolf. "Glad to see you have your own form. You're always about making the most of everything you do. Resourceful. That's a good trait." He respected that. He was lacking in that quality, but he frequently saw other travelers idolize this particular quality above all else. "I'm going to prepare a makeshift smoker for this later." He had seen a nice cedar tree not too far away. He would have to chop it down, but when he did it would make the perfect smoking wood. They would need to build a nicer shelter within the cave soon. This one looked quite ideal for their operations. He noticed Frea looking at the rabbit head which sparked a smile. "Do you want to play with it too?" He handed it to her to play with. Completely unaware of here more useful intentions for the head.
Fang would head back to the cave with his lot of the meat and materials harvested for Frea just as Fia made a comment about him making a good bunny faunus. "I hear the bunny faunus are the most happy of all faunus, so I wouldn't mind, so long as you didn't catch me and splay me open like these ones." He would say to Fia in a overly serious tone. "I would like to keep my head on my shoulders thank you very much." He would watch Fia play with the head like a puppet to Frea, how silly. Corpses couldn't talk. Though that would be slightly unsettling if they could. "I need to wash up actually..." He noted to himself as he finished placing all the meats down where Frea could finish processing them.
Fang marched off into the distance to the nearby creek where he plopped down to start removing his clothes. It was getting very dark so he would have to hurry, but part of him just wanted a little alone time. "Ahhhhh..." Fang sighed as he got into the water. Goosebumps spread across his skin like wildfire from the cold, but the water felt nice. He went in until he was waist deep. His skin tightened all over in response to the cold, as he lifted his hands in the air relishing the moment. He started to quietly chant a prayer to the gods of old. It wasn't that he believed in any particular higher power, but he thought if such a being, or beings, existed that he owed them a piece of his time. His chant was spoken quickly and in a low voice. "Rid me of unrighteousness, and break my bones cleanly. I accept your guidance and seek your direction. Hold me fiercely with grit and might so that I may be molded in your hand to smite. Break all oaths that restrain me and shake the ground I stand on. Let me be your arm of justice, and your hammer of fury in the night. I hail you Rak'sha, N'gorn, and hidden powers. Renew me in your waters of life once more." His voice drifted across the waters as he finished. That was the 17th prayer of the nomads that he had learned. His eyes remained closed and his hands had come to his chest in a criss-cross fashion to cover his chest. He would stand there for a long moment focusing his mind on what was to come.

 "Care about yourself first." ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
Frea hung back and watched as Fang started his work, the speed greatly exceeded hers. Since she lacked in arm power, she could not develop similar styles to him. "Each individual has different styles, each of them have advantages and drawbacks at the same time." There was a tradeoff between the characteristics of someone's form. In this situation, his speed for his cleaniness. Given how much she got to know the man, he would rather go wild with his handling rather than careful in keeping everthing clean. "I see. Thank you. Yours is also resourceful." She threw the comment back at Fang. Hearing such compliments on herself felt strange and uncomfortable. The woman was not used to hearing praises and tended not to respond to such comments, but this time she replied for polite's sake.
Violet hues blinked at the head in her hand, not expecting it to switch place from him to her. The softness of the fur was evident, a pleasant feeling against her fingers despite the creature being dead. It reminded her of the first time she had killed something. Her prey was, like this one, a rabbit, whose coat she used as clothing piece and whose meat to sate her hunger when the plants were poisonous and inedible. She remembered feeling like vomiting after the meal, the taste terrible on her tongue. It was difficult for one who ate plants almost there past life to switch habits. Her tolerance for the taste of meat built up over time, thankfully.
Her attention turned to Fia, who had asked her in a bizzard way. Even though served as a joke, the movement looked haunting in a way. She turned to check her ingredients, before shaking her head at the human woman with the bunny head. "Unfortunately, due to the limited herbs currently, you will not be able to have your herb bath today, bunny. If you are lucky, you will get your bath next time. Though, I have seen you coming in with quite a full belly, so you certainly have had your own share of herbs already." She followed on with the act, her blank face gave the impression that she was serious, even though she was not. Her gaze flickered through the meat on the ground, hands casually cut away the inedible parts that could be used for other purposes. With that, the meat should be good for cooking.
She did notice that Fang marched of somewhere after he placed the meat down, mentioning something about washing up. If what she recalled was correct, there should be a pool of water near here. The thought reminded her that she should wash up, removing these dirt and grime after these travels. She felt her hair with the back of her hand, the strands sticky and messy.

Pale hues never left the two especially with what seemed like an exchange of complements leaving their lips for each other. Sure the two simply spoke about how each had their own special way of slicing up their kill, but even casual talk was threatening enough for the woman to feel like there could be something sparking between them. Gods only knew what she would do if she did get the man. Although their words somehow lingered, was that what Fang liked?
Attention shifting back to the male as he came closer and passed his own remark about her claiming he could make a cute bunny faunus, a slight chuckle would escape her own lips. Did he seriously think she'd slit his throat if he was any different? Well, it depended on the circumstances, but she would likely still wish to win his heart. "Oh I would catch you, but simply to make you my personal happy bunny." she would state with a bright grin, "And if you'd try to run away, I'd slit your throat and mount your head on a wall." she added with a little snicker, as hilarious as it seemed to her, it was likely she would do that if the circumstances were as they spoke of. Gruesome, yet true.
With her attention back on Frea as she politely denied using her herbs on the meat, she lowered the head in a somewhat disappointed manner. Not that it mattered to the woman if it was bathed in herbs or bland with minimal spices, as long as they could at her catch today. "Aww, what has my life come to...eaten all bland...tasteless and...sad." she would state, shaking her head lightly as she would add in her normal voice, indicating it was her speaking now, "I am going to salt and pepper you, don't you worry about that." she would state, placing it down on the terrain as she would set the meat up close to the fire after adding the minimal spices so they could cook. With the other woman being her resourceful self and Fang away cleaning up, the woman took her rabbit head and studied it better so she could figure out what she should do with it. Ah, a skull would look like a nice artifact to retain.
The pink haired woman was now leaning against a boulder nearby with her blade carefully peeling away the skin and flesh against the rabbit skull she had while her mind pondered elsewhere. Her blood stained hands reminded her of the first time she killed someone or something, which one was it? She couldn't tell. As odd as it felt back then, she felt numb to any feeling besides excitement.
"I think I'll need a bath next..." she mumbled to herself, setting aside her incomplete project as she got up, heading inside to find herself something from her bag, careful not to stain it with the rabbit's blood.
