Everyone was throwing anything they could find, which was pleasing. At some point in time - he couldn't really remember when, since he wasn't actually paying attention, and he was still unused to this strange new ability of his - he'd turned back into a cat, and thus it was the cat version of himself that had spotted Sweetite and the cat version that she of course recognized - which was possibly problematic.
At least, it would have been to anyone who wasn't Wendell.
She was smiling at him, which was nice, wasn't it? Wendell beamed up at her, tail flicking as she came closer, and maybe he'd finally gotten through to her. Maybe she'd finally realized the benefits of having a friend that was on the Order side of things, and she could be a fair maiden while also not being a fair maiden in distress and on the wrong side of things.
"Have you now?" he asked, and then felt fingers on the scruff of his neck. "What have you found? "
What she found was apparently himself. Wendell found himself being lifted, and then -
"AH YES!" Wendell shouted, his voice growing more distant. "AN EXCELLENT IDEA, MY LACEY LADY, FROM HERE I HAVE A BETTER VANTAGE POINT - !"
He hit the side of the buxom babe with a thwack, twisted, dug claws into its side and proceeded to slide down it like a scrabbling drop of water that was also flailing a little because he couldn't really get his claws into anything. Wendell tumbled to the sandy ground, rolled again, and came up, not as a cat, but as a human, sand flying everywhere as he happily totted back to Sweetite, reaching out to clasp her shoulder.
"A very excellent strategy!" he said brightly. "I am well pleased!"

He saw at least one of the negaverse officers who'd been with Zircon fighting the monster, too, and it was a little ironic when he really thought about it - because most of the fighting he'd actually been involved with lately had either been out of retribution (like Zircon) or alongside the negaverse instead of against them. A mutual enemy dragging them together.
Maybe not the time to reflect too much, he thought to himself grimly as his attempt at a punch kind of hit... but not like it should have. Dwell on it later. Kill the thing now.

Kainite was smacked soundly by one of the leviathan's attacks and flopped kind of uselessly against her scales, pounding a little with his fist.

MeissaBoss-lady - 38/225 HP
HP 8/20 There was something satisfying about yielding a simple, yet deadly spear that took a chunk of the leviathan's flesh off of it's body. Sure she lost the spear as it remained embedded in in the creature's side. Dancing backwards in order to allow others to attack Meissa was beginning to feel sluggish again and though about using another of her potions.
-Inventory- 2 Health Potions (heal 10 damage) -Spent- 1 HP potion

MeissaBoss-lady - 36/225 HP
HP 18 - 3 = 15/20 (using health potion) After her last attack Meissa thought long and hard about what she wanted to hold onto. Sighing and realizing she'd not want a return trip to the graveyard the senshi uncorked one of her last remaining potions and downed the contents. This would keep her going a few more rounds. As the vial emptied Meissa stared at it before rushing forward and throwing the empty container at the writhing creature. She wasn't fast enough to get out of the way of a flailing limb and got struck but it was getting weaker. Everyone's cumulative attacks were having the desired effect. Meissa glanced around before retreating further back to rejoin her comrades. Slowly she watched the battle rage on. It was getting harder to find anything useful to attack with.
Her hand came up to wipe her forehead. If only the sun could be blotted out with clouds, maybe it wouldn't be so frickin' boiling.Sweenys_Revenge Meissa's back to the group -Inventory- 1 Health Potion (heal 10 damage) -Spent- 2 HP potions

[ Corrupt Eternal Stillwaterite ]Inventory: Super HP potion - restores 25 HP HP: 32 / 40 Boss HP: 27 / 225The beast seemed to be weakening, so there wasn't much else to do but press on. Still dug through the sand again and found another chunk of limestone when she tossed at the creature. They all seemed close.

... YES. He gave a whooping kind of battle cry, feeling the creature recoil from him and writhe. It was slackening. Something was giving. "Get it!!" he snarled at the gathered masses. "Somebody ********' finish this ******** off!!"

Without stopping his continued beaming at Sweetite, Wendell kicked backwards with one foot at the Lovely Lady Leviathan.
(It was a very well-aimed kick.)

The Leviathan lets out an anguished roar as it is downed. The beast's body sinks into the oasis it once inhabited.
The air around you begins to vibrate. You can feel it---and next thing you know, a black hole tears to life above the oasis---sand and water are drawn into the black hole, and oh...you are too!

MeissaHP 15/20 The leviathan's death bellows were headache inducing. Meissa covered her ears as best as she could to block out the screams. It was probably why the vibrations in the air went unnoticed by the Bobcat Senshi and only the black gaping hole that opened in the middle of the oasis that began pulling everyone into it clued the senshi into realizing that something was not right. What was going on? Should they have not been able to return to the central staging area?
So many questions, too little answers. Meissa dug her feet into the sand but even that did nothing to prevent her from sliding forward, inch by inch, until the gravity from the black hole got it's hooks into her and propelled her forward and into the phenomenon. Was there something on the other side waiting for them?-Inventory- 1 Health Potion (heal 10 damage) [[ Meissa's exiting to the Finale thread ]]
