 Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie....Angela blocked the incoming jab from the stomach turned her blade to scrape along his until it nearly went into his hilt and then she shoved with a good measure placing force behind her attack to get him unsteady..

Karthin let himself fall to the ground. He rolled to the side and sprang to his feet. He waited for her to make a move as he got into a defensive stance.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela watched as he dropped but before she could react he was already rolling away and placing himself into a stance position,"It seems you are doing well having not lost your weapon so far", she complimented as she went in on one knee to wipe him down she then twisted did a full body roll and then used her feet to counter him if he tried to jump onto her before she used her other hand to prop herself back onto her feet. .

Karthin smirked at her. "What good would I be to anybody if I couldn't use my weapon properly?" He asked her. He then studied her moves blocking her strike before jumping back. He knew if he wanted to win this that he needed to pull something off quick, and he only knew one way to do that. It was a tricky move, but he had to try it. He sheathed his katana before setting his center of gravity as low as he could. "This will decide it all Angela. Whether I'll be good enough to stand by your kind in the war or not all hinges on this last technique." He told her.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela watched him sheath his blade as she held out a hand to halt him,"If you do not use your weapon I shall not use mine it is the Valkyrie honor at stake now", she told him firmly as she waited for him to begin his practice.

Karthin growled lightly. "If you don't use your weapon I can guarantee that you will sustain a heavier injury than I ever intend to inflict on you Angela." He told her. "Trust me and use everything you can to stop this final attack. After this we will call and end to our spar." He informed her. He leaned his body in such a way that put his torso in front of his blade from her angle. He took a deep breath and released it a few seconds later to calm his nerves and clear his mind.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela countered with her words,"So be it then I shall not draw my blade to an unarmed man", she told him firmly standing there with her arms crossed she glared down at him,"No matter what you wish to prove I refuse to do it!", she then watched as he stood there meditating it seemed as she ready a hand to fist defensive stance.

Karthin sighed. "Fine then, but don't say I didn't warn you." He told her. He used his low center of gravity and rushed at her as fast as he could. It took seconds for him to reach her. When he got into a comfortable range in mid run he drew his sword and swung for her chest in one fluid motion. He then stopped himself. When he came to a complete stop he was behind her. He sheathed his sword once more and stood up straight.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela watched his speed as he raced towards her he drew his blade last second and her eyes went wide but before any damaged was done he stopped and someone as if teleported to be right behind her she turned to see him sheathing his sword as her heart race,"I see now why you wished for me to draw my blade..", she took in a deep breathe and then with a heavy sigh she turned and offered her hand,"That was most skilled", she told him impressed,"And with the force you came at me I would have recieved bad dmaged from your blade it must have been hard for you to stop", she told him.

"I honestly didn't think I cold stop myself. Every other time I tried that technique it was on training dummies." He told her. He was breathing heavily. "It's a skill I developed to end fights in an instant.
Something only to be used as a last resort as the physical drain it put my body through can leave me defenseless for up to five minutes. I thought since we would be allies and all that I should show you the extent of my power."

Angela congratulated him,"You did stop it most impressive and I see the power behind this technique", she told him,"Though I see your power may not exceed that of a angel or Demon it will do well to go up against a valkyrie unless they are an elder", she told him,"My mother would have put you in your place most likey she is the oldest of the living Valkyries and she is well experienced in battle", she told him motioning for them to walk she said,"Lets take a walk I'm sure the festivities will begin soon".

Karthin nodded before he walked over to her. "I need to get stronger if I'm not going to be a burden in the upcoming war. Even if it's just strong enough to fight off one demon it'll be something." He told her. He had his head back looking up at the sky. "You may not be able to understand how it feels, but to somebody like me being weak in a battle is unacceptable. I can't just sit by, and watch while others get hurt." He added as he looked over at her.

Angela nodded in accept,"I understand completely", she told him,"A Valkyrie protects many other than its own people we are strong warriors and have been raised so since birth", she told him, explaining,"It will be fine either way I assure you I shall not let you fall in battle if I can help it", she gave him a reassuring smile,"Either way I am sure you are not one to disappoint either", she laughed,"Perhaps later tonight you will show me more of this elvish city while we enjoy the festivities? I have never been here", she replied honestly,"Though I have lived over 2 millennium I have still yet to journey very far from my home island", she told him.

Karthin nodded to her with a smile. "This city in particular has quite a few good places to see if you have either the adventurous spirit or the know-how of how to get there." He told her. "Just stick with me kid, and you'll know all the best places to go and the know-how on how to spot these places in other elvish cities." He told her with a sly smile. He started laughing as they walked back into the palace. He showed her to her room before leaving the palace to get ready for the party.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela ignored the kid comment seeing as she felt she was still very young and who knew how old Karthin was.. Finally with a sigh she entered her chambers with her brethren as they all huddled about her,"My sweet child what is the matter?", her mother asked basking in a lounge chair by the sun,"Do I seem childish?", she asked her mother questioningly as Vaya laughed,"Of course..", she told her,"But to a mortal you would seem very wise", Angela finally frowned leaving it at that any 2000 year old Valkyrie wouldn't be old enough in alot of peoples eyes but she would have to accept that after awhile she would soon get ready with her mother and Aunt who would seemingly start the preparations for the party... The two remaining Valkyrie attendants where in matching Togas while the elders sported a much more elaborate gown her mother in the gold and Angela's aunt in a silver... Now Angela being leader of Valkyrie took something in the middle of the two displays of gowns.. She slipped on her dress and headdress before exiting down the hall right behind her Mother and Aunt they all attend the Party with their wings drawn back and with her mothers guiding hand they managed to keep them tucked in nicely so they lay flat and downward as if they were a featherd cape drapped along the back, The Valkyrie Elder stepped forward to the Queen and bowered respectfully as all else followed,"Thank you for allowing us to attend such a wonder festival you should come and visiting our island.. Great Queen of the elves".
