Aaah, it's not dumb. I enjoy character development. And I'm always a fan of fluff and ships lol. I get a but kick out of shipping random characters in a group. Lol. Are you more into like...fantasy, school, medieval, or modern RPs?
I like canon and original RPs smile but the canon stuff I know is pretty old school. Like...older animes and stuff.
Oh I like mostly modern based RPs since it removes alot of the hassle that usually comes with fantasy/medieval RPs and usually those are more character centered (not to say that fantasy/medieval RPs cant be character centered). However, I'm actually joining a fantasy/medieval RP soon. I like to think that I'm pretty flexible with my RPs, haha. And I might know about some older anime- Depends on what it is lol. Hi hi everyone.
I'm Hikari, most people call me Hik. I'm 33, stay at home mom with 2 boys, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and my mother. I've survived an abusive marriage, graduated college with a AS in Computer Tech and a BS in Graphic Design, been left at the altar, and been medically forced into disability. I've been on Gaia since 2004, so long time. I've been roleplaying since about 2002, I guess. Other fan sites like TORC and such before moving over to Gaia completely. For about 6 years, I co-captained Gaia's leading Star Wars RP guild, worked on the AURB as various room hosts for a little over 7 years.
My people skills are pretty rusty, and I've not RP'd in quite a few years due to a lot of depression. Thought it'd be good to get back into things as the world has ended and I need something to occupy my time. I love all kinds of roleplays; fandoms, originals, apocalypse, arranged marriage, historical, fantasy, magical. I hate excess gore and mary-sue romances. That being said, I do love romance in an RP. I like character building and world building. I also think it's fun to plot before hand and create different kinds of relationships between characters.
I have no idea what else to say........So yay! Thanks for letting me in.

I love getting to talk to other moms! I've just had my first as of May 2020. These are definitely weird times to have to raise kids in. Like you, I decided to spend more time RPing and writing since the world is burning. I was beforehand but...yeeeah, doing it even more now lol.
I'm glad you've come out of a depression, or at least enough to start writing again! If you ever need to talk, lots of us here understand. I'm bi-polar and the depression spells are always the worst.

My name is Alex, male and I'm 26 years of age, a full-time Barista, an Aussie as well and I'm an IT tech boy who spends most of my time playing online gaming. I have been on Gaia since 2008, role-played since 2010 with my skills as a role-player growing from a one-liner person to someone who prefers a few paragraphs with detail and of course no text-talking. I have been in quite a few guilds over the years and threads as well as my genre of stories all over the place. I've done Resident Evil, Mass Effect, school, fantasy, etc... My preference in genres of role-plays has changed quite significantly over the years. Now I'm a person who enjoys stories that can get gritty to ones that are wholesome and simple. I'm not afraid of R18+ so do not hesitate on steering me into those types of role-plays.
Other than that I pretty much can post up to two-six times a day, depending on my availabilities at work, and I'm super keen on getting back into this again. So give me a shout. ^^

I'm pretty much-playing games like Apex Legends, Minecraft, Ark: Survival, and every now and then SMITE. Genre-wise, I'm craving the whole fantasy-adventure aspect but I do not mind school-based RPs every now and then.

That's good to hear! I have the general concept of a potential fantasy RP posted in the RP ideas thread under the OOC subforum if you'd like to check it out. I'm waiting to finish building it until there's more interest, but I was already including an option for shapeshifting characters.
