HealingAssass1n Cody heard what she said as she spoke but thought it over, "I dont mean to be that guy but you are a princess... i mean that in, you arent wanting to turn your back on your people are you?" He asked curiously to her, thinking about how she seemed to just want to get away. Strider was beside herself and just needed someone to actually care about her feelings for once ." I know you are new here and dont know much but i just cant marry that prince " she replied to Cody hoping hed see her side of things .

Cody looked at her and nodded, "I understand, and i know that love is important but aside from love, I have to risk my life for it, and i am to show i can love you and be someone your father can accept." He stated softly.

HealingAssass1n Cody looked at her and nodded, "I understand, and i know that love is important but aside from love, I have to risk my life for it, and i am to show i can love you and be someone your father can accept." He stated softly. Strider was feeling a little better at this point and settled down some . " I hope that things get better for the both of us eventually " she replied to Cody as she sat down on the bed and waited to see what was going to happen next

Cody heard what she said but he sighed, "Witthout counting your hand in marriage, i feel like im in a lose/lose situation... If the prince wins, i die and you are forced to marry him. If i win, I get to wed you but... i would have to take a life, which i never even considered i would ever had to do." He stated softly.

If i win, I get to wed you but... i would have to take a life, which i never even considered i would ever had to do." He stated softly. Strider was not sure what to say at this point knowing that Cody was right and that things could also go wrong as well as right . " I know Cody but maybe things go right and we could leave this stupid castle instead of staying here and listening to stuffy father all the time" she replied to him in a sort of worried tone.

He asked softly, his mind forced him to ask that question. Strider wastaken by surprise by that question for a minute and then replied " no thats not it at all Cody . I love you for who you are and because you care in return . My wanting to leave has nothing to do with the way that I feel deep inside for you "

Cody heard what she said and was decently okay with that but he still couldntwrap his head around what was going to happen with the fight, "So what do you want... i mean, you are a princess but do you think your father would just let you leave? I mean, what if you leave and he takes everything from you or chases after you?" He asked softly.

HealingAssass1n Cody heard what she said and was decently okay with that but he still couldntwrap his head around what was going to happen with the fight, "So what do you want... i mean, you are a princess but do you think your father would just let you leave? I mean, what if you leave and he takes everything from you or chases after you?" He asked softly. Strider listened as Cody talked and then replied " I hope that he doesnt do that to me . I dont need a father anymore but rather a friend to listen to me and know that I am a grown woman now ". She was trying to be calm about this but deep down she was nervous and just wanted to run away.

Cody looked at her but hearing what she said, he gently hugged her, "You are a grown woman, and can do whatever you want but from what i can tell, you're royalty. You have your life and your people's lives to consider and that puts a lot of pressure on you. Your father, if he is anything like other fathers, cares deeply for you and wants you to be ready and prepared for such a burden and if I survive, It will be my burden to share as well." He said softly.

He said softly was strange with timing as a guard opened the door, "Challenger, you are requested to prepare for the match." He stated as Cody seemed frozen in a bit of fear.

He said softly was strange with timing as a guard opened the door, "Challenger, you are requested to prepare for the match." He stated as Cody seemed frozen in a bit of fear. Strider was standing near the door when the guard came up to it and summoned Cody to the match. " i will be here waiting for you , dont worry " she replied to him as he left the room.

" Sorry , yes I will go , I was sort of distracted for a brief moment . I am on my way Cody " she replied trying to shake what was bothering her inside.
