Annette took a device out of her desk that resembled a thin clipboard. Tapping it opened a light grid keyboard, which she typed on quickly to make note of the mesh and any other not needed things he wanted removed. She set the board down on her desk, causing a hologram image of the notes to be projected above it for both her and him to read. As he apologized for comparing Singe to her profession she gave a short laugh and shook her head. "Doctors use to butterfly open living prisoners to see how their internals worked. Some may argue that we stopped advancing our medical knowledge when we started valueing morals." She explained. She would nod as he explained a bit more, only stopping as Dokusei's attendant stopped in. "Thank you. Please inform Dr.Dokusei that I have an idea for his nanites. Im curious if they can function as a psuedo immune system." She explained, taking the package and setting it on the desk. She closed the door and looked back at Kain, taking a pen light from her pocket. "I need to check your eyes and reflexes. You are correct that repairing a brain is no small feat, I'm concerned too about deficits forming later." She explained, moving to sit in front of him. She gently lifted his chin with one hand, using the pen light to watch his pupils dilate as she flicked the light just at the edge of his peripherals. "Should i be concerned at all that Singe knew of Nimm and her condition? As I know it, he does not take notice of people that do not interest him." She asked, moving to the opposite eye.

Risa narrowed her eyes a bit, hearing the difference in voice and tone as Feign spoke. "Two entities, one body." She summarized, surprised by Feigns appearance. "Nice to meet you Feign," she smirked a little. "Is it safe to assume your privy to everything that happens when Migoto is in control?" She asked.

Annette nodded, but kept her eyes on his pupils, repeating the test. She hadn't missed it. "Can you see alright? Any blurriness or double vision?" She asked, typing what she found into the hologram screen. She turned the light off and held her finger up. "Follow this please." She instructed moving her finger up, then down, a little closer, then further away, keeping her eyes on his. "Once i talk to Dokusei about the nanites, i may be able to work with him to create a synthetic antibody for her so she won't need the mask. However, you should be aware that she is, for better or worse, on a ticking clock. Her disease kills others in a matter of days, and while its killing her even much slower, she is getting to a point that the medicine we rely on here may not be enough to save her." She explained. "Shes had two lung transplants, and each time the disease eats away at them. Im telling you this because if you really do intend on taking her out of here, you need to be prepared if she crashes."

Risa nodded. "Alright. So then, was it your wise words that led to a fight with Dethblade after I told Migoto to leave the hospital?" She asked. It was an honest question, not an accusation. It was something of a curiosity of hers though that he had been so worried and geared toward getting out, afraid even, but when she got back down to him he had confronted Dethblade.

Annette sat up straight, looking at him curiously as he insisted Nimm wouldn't die. She'd spent a good many years studying the disease and watching the girls health steadily decline. She had yet to find away to cure the disease once it was established. "Your blood did help in creating a vaccine, I have to test it yet, but it only seems to work in preventing the disease, not cure it." She reasoned. "But this does bring up my next question. If Nimm is cured, is she still of value to you? Cured means she no longer has a disease to spread as you would like her too." She jotted down another note about his eye sight, attributing the swirl she'd seen to that ability. She turned toward him again and took his wrist, finding his pulse before looking down at her watch, counting off in her head.

Risa shrugged. "I dont know. That bounty hunter did put a bullet in him. If he hadnt been injected with that stuff, I think our night would of gone a lot differently." She moved, getting to her feet and walking to her bag, grabbing clothes. "I have to say though, while im really glad you are alright, im also really surprised." She turned to face him, pointing at his chest. "All i did was clean it and add something to speed healing up, but not that fast."

Annette typed up his pulse rate, giving a solomn nod to his decision. "I have no doubt Nimm will find some way to be useful. She is a resourceful sort. Her room has had many updates to it over the years due to her finding one way out or another. Granted, she never made it far, but shes tried." A ghost of a smile crossed her features before she banished it and moved to put on her stethoscope, leaning forward to listen to his heart.

Risa shook her head. "No, that isn't normal for most people. For you maybe, but most people, myself included, probably would of died from that. I had half expected to walk out and a corpse lying here for real, rather than the stuff the ATF you put me in showed." She walked toward the bathroom, closing the door halfway so they could still hear each other as she got dressed.

"Tickling?" She pulled the stethoscope away and eyed him quizzically before turning to look at the thermostat. Granted she kept her office cool, but she wouldn't say cold. The temp read out at sixty six degrees Fahrenheit. "It isn't cold in here either?" She pointed out, looking back at him. "I wonder if this is a side effect of the brain tissue being regrown...a problem with your hippocampus perhaps..." she stood up from her seat, motioning for him to follow. "We may need to do that scan sooner rather than later."

Risa changed, pulling on a pair of khaki pants and a black button up cap sleeved blouse with a lace cami underneath, and a new bandage wrapped around her messed up shoulder and upper arm. She opened the door, a hair pin in her mouth as she combed out her hair. "As soon as you are capable, we need to find a ship out of here. I don't trust our chances of staying low here bow that we've ticked off Dethblade." She pointed out.

Annette lead the way toward the elevator, nodding as she went. "Ive done a little research into the different energies that can be harnessed and used by different individuals. Alterias mines were once used to search for raw energy, as the planet itself was terraformed because of it. No such power was found though, so the mines were used to pull up a different resource, the black stone this city is built from. A by product left behind from the raw energy that flowed through these caves at some point." She gave a brief history lesson as she pressed the button for the appropriate floor. "Once we get you scanned, you should find some place to rest. Not sure how you feel about a hospital room, but there are plenty of empty ones. There's also the apartments for the doctors that in the South Tower." She explained. The elevator would ding and shed step out out lead him onward through a set of double doors. And to a large room with a medical table and large machine that encircled the table. "The machine uses a sonar type imaging, but its recommended you don't have too many layers on before lying down." She instructed, going over to the computers monitor and turning it on.

Risa crossed her arms, raising a brow as Feign and Migoto conversed with one another, and catching Migotos odd tone and behavior. "Is he high?" She asked, a bit surprised. She moved, taking a seat on her futon and watching him. "You want to take the threat out first?" She asked, hearing Feigns suggested options. "Our faces were all over the televisions, and we were marked as enemies of the new ruler of Grace of Nocturnal. If the city decides to follow him, we have more to deal with then just the group we saw earlier." She sighed, leaning back on her hands, legs crossed. "Theres also the Bounty Hunter to deal with...." she muttered, looking up at the ceiling a long moment.

"You two should know, since we're sharing all this private information, my name isnt Risa. Thats just the fake identity I'm currently using with this appearance. My real name is Mira, and I do have a couple bounties on that name that that bounty hunter will probably want to collect on." She admitted, tilting her head to look back at him.

Annette glanced up, catching the tattoo for a brief moment, but more concerned with the mesh and staples his body was trying to reject. "Those may need to come out sooner rather than later." She noted.

As he asked the question about population she had to stop and think for a moment. "Hmm, I'm not sure...there's just under 600 people here in Nocturnal. But on the surface there are other towns and cities. Alteria is fully terraformed, but its a relatively small planet." She explained, tapping a few keys on the monito, the machine humming to life and warming up. Once he was situated she started the machine up and watched the screen as the ring passed over him back and forth a few times.

Risa smiled laughing a bit at Migotos carefree responses. She sat up straight and folded her legs under her, listening to Feigns strategy and gave a nod, thinking a bit. "If you can distract him while i come up behind him, I should be able to get his mask off..." she looked at her bandaged arm a moment. "I'll have to wait till the damaged scales are regenerated. I could shed them and speed up the process though." She offered, though didnt look super thrilled at the idea. "May be for the best anyway that i do that." She admitted, reaching for the bottle of pain killers.
