History

Growing up in a strict household, Halimede had to hide their true gender and abilities from their parents. During their time at the academy when they were a Junior and Senior, they would often go to the cemetery to communicate with them. This is where Halimede fell in love with languages; in fact, some of the spirits actually taught them! They considered the dead their friends more than the living. When they graduated the Academy and went off to Grendel, they gave their parents the big "screw you" by telling them about their true gender. They haven't spoken to or visited their parents since.
