The red light seeped into Niko's window similar to the previous night. Again, Niko stirred. She awoke and took to her balcony. Unnoticed by her, her skin was pale, her eyes were red (no sharingan), and her teeth were more like fangs. She couldn't help but wake from her sleep. She was so hungry. She needed to eat. She jumped into the red night sky.
This time Niko's hunger lead her to a group of men. They seemed to be up to no good. Still, they were just standing in a group like everything was normal. After watching for a bit, Niko made her move. She was in no control of her body or her jutsu for that matter. She pricked herself and soon formed a disc out her own blood. It hardened to a point where it became sharp and harder than steel. She cut herself again just to make sure. As the blood seeped down, Niko grew more and more excited.
"So like I was telling the guy, his girl wasn't even that cute. And SHE approached ME! I mean like come on! How are you gonna be mad because your girl... Gah!" The man was suddenly cut off by the red disc flying by slitting his throat. His friends stood in awe for a moment until the blood from his neck showered them in red. "What the hel.. Ugh!" Another red disc came slicing one in the face and the other in the back. The last man standing had no idea what was happening. In fear, the man turned to run away but when he did, he ran right into Niko. "W-what are y-you?!" She was standing there with a twisted smile and glowing red eyes. "I'm... Hungry..." Niko jumped the man and began drinking. He cried out in pain and fear of death. Again, the cries fell upon deaf ears.
After drinking the blood of all the men, Niko returned home. It was earlier than last time, so she wasn't allotted the time to clean up. She was so tired and full. She got back into bed, covered in blood, and fell asleep like nothing ever happened.
__A CHALLENGER IS APPROACHING!! Zhi's sensory was still functional- even if not as well as before. It didn't take long to notice her sempai rampantly charging through the village, and it seemed like he was on his way to her. Like a really muscular, crazy-eyed moth to the flame, Masato would arrive just after Zhi had bolstered herself in preparation with the Belligerence technique of the Nigirikobushi no Shintou style. His feral demeanor very much resembled the rest of the villagers she'd had to deal with thus far. "Yup..." Zhi sighed as she exchanged glances with Masato before he haphazardly attacked while roaring about. Rather than evade entirely, Zhi got a little cocky and just dropped under his attack enough to counter with a special light tap of a punch to his torso as he would pass over her. Whether or not the restrained taunting tap connected or not, Zhi would turn to face Masato again after narrowly evading his attack, "Boss fight time." While sensing others in the vicinity she took notice of someone else standing out from the erratic, crazed behavior of most others that were being affected by the moonlight.
Honestly, Zhi was on the fence about whether she wanted or needed to bring anyone else into a fight with someone like Masato- mostly for their sakes rather than hers. If he got serious then there would inevitable be broken bones... at the very least. On a whim, Zhi made a decision to abandon the rooftop with a single leap toward the source of the girl projecting her voice and surely attracting plenty of other unwanted attention in the process anyway. "Look out below!" She touched down several paces in front of Lahlil with a dramatic superhero landing pose but quickly sprung up to her feet again. There probably wasn't much time for pleasantries so Zhi just flashed the Uzushio headband plate on her scarf to the chuunin then offered a smile and thumbs up. "Heads up! There's a muscly monster close by..." She was particularly staying alert for Masato who she had a feeling wouldn't hesitate to follow her down into residential streets.

The blood called and beckoned, the mind twisted upon itself until the fabric of reality was once again warped and shaped. Zahara snarled as he could feel the influence of a strong hunger controlled him again as all reason was washed away from his mind. The man he knocked out earlier was all but ignored now, left bound by cloth and steel wire before primal urges took hold of him. It took everything in him to ignore the fleeing man he saved as he had the Byakugan active again, peering into the world around him in a dull grey shade.
He walked with a heavy yet slow step, wide stance as if he were wading through water. Zahara dropped to one knee as he heaved heavy gasps with fangs bared, grunts and groans as he convulsed and twitched against the urge. Get...out. The c***k in the armor cracked as Zahara mentally probed through the influence as he stood up slowly, his mind clearing of the fog as he realized he was in the street, eyes again active as he took in everything around him to his understanding. Stay. ...Out. He started to stand upright finally, his left hand curling into a fist and teeth bared as a tremor ripped through him like he was going through withdrawals.
"Hello? Is anyone out there?"
Zahara stood still as a voice echoed, the Byakugan catching a wave of chakra washing over the area of a signature he was unfamiliar with. The mind shattered like a mirror, cracking and falling in tiny shards with bits left intact. He moved his head to the general direction of where he heard the voice, Byakugan aiding more with radial sight as his pale eyes tracked the signature like a blood-hound hunting a scent. With a seal, he took a single step forward before his body would turn to a blur and he moved through the area and body flickered to where he pinpointed the sound and saw the chakra originated from.
He appeared right before her out of the body flicker as he seemed to appear from the air, his movement masked by a veil of visible blue chakra as it swept around him with a step forward. Zahara felt a strong compulsion to act on instinct, the fog in his mind thin but present as he walked toward her with a set jaw as he forced himself to stop. In that moment, he retained control over his senses again as the mind freed itself from the fog and he spoke.
"Dangerous right now, Lass." He said simply, not making an effort to consciously hide the fangs, head tilting to the right slightly. "You right of mind? Or lost like I am." Zahara's left hand twitched slightly as he said that, his face neutral save for the narrowing of his eyes.

tab Hot breathe escaped her mouth as Ferrah ran through the buildings in desperate search of Lahlil. thankfully Karuto hadn't bothered to wait and try to pull her in with him, she could tell that whatever had affected her had begun to take it's hold on him as well. But she had no time to worry about that. She had no time but to worry about anything other than Lahlil. Where in god's name was she? There were so many attacks and screams all ringing across the village. She was even drawn herself to feasting on a few nearby civilians though thankfully she managed to suppress the urge at least for now. Damn that girl where is! And what blasted powers be that took away my Sakkuguan? Ohh when I find out who.. Swinging around the corner so fast that she nearly slipped, Ferrah's anger melted away in an instant as she caught sight of her mark. Only she wasn't alone.. beside her stood the most impressive sight Ferrah had ever seen. A blue haired girl, one Ferrah recognized as one of the ninja's from Sunagakure. She was covered head to toe in a brilliant glow that Ferrah could feel even from here. The mere act of setting her eyes on her made stand almost drop her mouth and drool. "La.. Lah.." The words fell from her fanged mouth barely able to form a coherent sentence. Every emotion that was running through her mind was eclipsed by the single desire to sate her hunger on this girl. Ferrah did her best to compose herself as much as she called out to Zhi, her voice a unnatural soothing melody meant to entice the girl. Eikyou no Koe [ Voice of Influence ]"You are.. so incredible.." Gradually stepping towards her she continued. "You wouldn't mind if I had a little taste would you? After all you are my friend."

tab Apparently for whatever reason it seems fate choose to head Lahlil's request. A blue haired girl leaped down from the rooftops above to land a few paces in front of her, striking up a picture-esque hero pose as she did so. The whole scene was just so unbelievable that the Lahlil barely had time to even process what just happened. The blue haired girl then turned just enough to flash her headband marking her as a village ninja, not only that but Lahlil could nearly recognize her face. She had meet her somewhere of that she was certain, but ti seemed like there wouldn't be time happy meet up hugs as the girl mentioned another of the plagued that were taking over the village. Ohh marbles.. A worried grimace plastered on her face which only drifted into further worry as she tried to activate her Sakkuguan only to find it failing her. What is going on? B-but I've always been able to use my doujutsu what am I going to do now!
through the fear of her every cell in her body telling her to run Lahlil never even noticed when another morphed into existence right beside her. This new figure belonging to a man in a dark red jacket. His voice clean and steady, at first she was further put at ease. After all three against one were odds she felt rather comfortable in. That was until he displayed the telltale fangs that marked him as one of the beasts prowling the streets. Her smile faded as quick as it came and Lahlil stiffed. She knew it was dangerous but whatever reason he hadn't attacked her yet. Managing to stutter out. "Th- those.. teeth. Are.. are you.. f-friendly?"
Friendly. Was he? The stutter, the smile fading and the question sparked the urge stronger as a low hiss came from Zahara as a smirk crooked the side of his mouth. The fog clouded his mind now as his Byakugan deactivated now, his attention only on the one before him as he took a few steps, not saying a reply to her as he was consumed by a strange excitement welling up in his chest. Stop. The fog lifted partially in his mind, he clenched his jaw and shook his head.
He didn't approach further as he stared at her instead, teeth bared still as the urge pulsed in the back of his mind. It was a struggle as he pushed and pulled with two sides of himself, silent as he ensued the mental fight. Finally he walked forward as his mind started to cloud, the urge winning its control over Zahara. "Yes, I can be." the reply came half whisper, half hiss with a smirk now.
Another crack, the veil in the mind settled more and a hiss came from him. "You've no idea how much I crave the blood of others right now." He strained to say as he began to walk to the side, pacing and starting to circle this woman. "Very difficult to keep under wraps."
Zhi's light counter attack to mark Masato would be seen quickly as he performed a forward somersault, flipping his body over the fist of the girl with just the slightest gap between the two of them. As he landed the flip, he would jerk his head around to view the blue haired girl, his eyes leaving a neon streak of color in the air as he moved, glowing with hunger. " GRAAHHHH" He angrily growled as she vanished below.
As Zhi dropped down below, speaking to Ferrah, Masato would move rapidly. As he cleared the building's roof and laid eyes on the vampiric girl below about to sink her teeth into Zhi at first chance, Masato's meshed desire to face Zhi one on one and his desire to fend off the other predators from his prey overwhelmed him. "GRAAHHHHHHHHHAHAAAAA" He screamed wildly again as he body flickered directly before the woman approaching Zhi, standing between the two. His fist had already moved into position. A strong single punch aimed for the girl's forehead. He had every intention of rendering her immobile as soon as possible in order to secure his prey.

__ So he could still reflexively use his techniques- awesome. Zhi kept this in mind as she left Masato back on the rooftop for a moment. Shortly after meeting Lahlil she noticed other presences also starting to close in. Yeah, this was probably gonna get complicated. They had apparently stumbled upon Zahara, the fanged Hyuuga boy whose presence teetered between menacing and possibly friendly. Then another girl approached from elsewhere. She seemed to have been stumbling before she approached the group, struggling similarly to her sempai's feral temperament. Ferrah, she recalled from their homeland, came around the corner and the look in her eyes sent a shiver up Zhi's spine. "I am so over everyone looking at me like a snack..." She finished grumbling for a moment before Ferrah started to approach.
Chakra welled up in the girl, warning Zhi of a prepared technique as she also detected Masato getting ready to rejoin the fray. "Dangit!" Zhi formed a hand seal and a pair of Shadow Clones appeared at each side of her just before the genjutsu started to take hold. Zhi, with her top tier training as a VORTEX operative, was struggling to resist the influential effects of the enacted genjutsu, "U-uhm... a taste? Well... uhh, probably... not? Maybe..." The clones exchanged glances past the real Zhi and nodded to each other. They didn't really need much effort to communicate thanks to the Enlightening Brand that they shared on the napes of their necks. While Masato engaged Ferah in his even more excessively violent self, like one predator fighting another for their prey, one of Zhi's clones finished hand seal for the Genjutsu Release technique and poked her in the side of the head to put it into effect. The other clone remained on guard while Zhi came back to her senses. She felt her head pounding for a moment as she regained focus. "Okay seriously! How many of you are trying to eat me right now? 'Cause I am soooooo not about it!!" Zhi stomped her foot out of annoyance and one of her five recently unlocked powers reacted to her semi-conscious will to be . Roots as thick as her body rose up around her and her clone into a protective cage as they curved into to form a roof overhead. She was pretty sure she could beat up most of the people here, but that confidence faltered a little when considering how badly outnumbered she was right now. The other clone then sat down into a meditative pose and opted to remain perfectly still while they focusing intently on the task at hand.

Niko, awoke very sluggish and tired. For some reason, she felt full. She didn't remember eating anything before coming home. Niko opened her eyes more. "What's all this red?" She was covered in dried blood. Then it hit her. Flashes of the night before. Her eyes widened. "Oh no..." She quickly rushed to the bath to shower.
After cleaning up, Niko went to the mirror. "Is this... the sharingan?" Confused, Niko left the mirror and put on a lavender perfume. She knew Hisashi hated perfume with a passion, but she also knew that she wreaked of blood. She didn't want to alarm him, so this was her best bet. Hisashi awoke but showed no signs of noticing. Just a clear look of disgust. "Why'd you have to put that on? Hoping you'll run into Itsuki? When are you going to tell him about the sharingan? I bet that'll be funny!" With a sigh, Niko hushed Hisashi as they went to go meet Ryota.
When they stepped outside, Niko noticed there was an eerie red in the sky. "Strange... The sky seems very ominous today..." As they walked, Hisashi looked at all the posters. "So many pretty people..." Then he stopped and barked when he got to a particular poster. "Niko! Can we do this one?" Niko stopped and turned to look at the poster. When she did, her face turned sour. "Seriously...?" Hisashi shook his head and wagged his tail eagerly. Niko caved and decided to help him out. Hisashi was no slacker, but sometimes he really did not like training. It also took him a while to get really motivated. To see him so willing and wanting, Niko couldn't deny him. "Alright I guess..."
They went to the alley to not draw attention to themselves. "Man Beast Clone!" There, stood another Niko. "Ready?" This time, Niko had a harder time showing Hisashi the end product. She failed a couple times herself. If there was one thing Niko knew well, it was combat. She was always skilled as a fighter and was good with her jutsu as well. She could hold her own with anyone. If there was one thing Niko didn't know well though, it was how to be "sexy". She couldn't for the life of her understand why Hisashi wanted to transform into something like that, but she wanted to help him anyways. After a few solid goes, Hisashi shook his head. "Um... Okay! I think I got it!" He made his hand seal. "It's time for Hisashi's... GIVE ME SOME STEAK BABY JUTSU!" After a big poof, there Hisashi stood, covered only by a thin cloud of smoke, in a handsome, dreamy, and irresistible pose. It was so much, even Niko blushed. Then, she bonked Hisashi on the head. "T-that's not funny Hisashi." As he rubbed his head and laughed, Niko couldn't help but find him interesting. It was like she was seeing a whole new side of Hisashi for the first time. She sighed and rubbed him on the head.
A loud crash erupted from the rooftop adjacent to the action. Dust covered its tracks before a shape emerged. The entity was eight feet in height, and its body was more monster than man. Two batlike wings protruded from his back and itβs face looked like a strange reptile, with overdrawn fangs extruding from its lips. It radiated corrupted nature chakra. However, at the core of the being, behind all of the levels, was the familiar chakra sense Zhi and Masato could pick up. Another flap of its wings shot it into the air. It dramatically then crashed down on Masatoβs position, attempting to shove the man into the ground. There was a thirst in its mind to devour blood, and there was someone nearby who smelled the most delicious. However, a predator must ward off all other threats before it can pursue the prey.

tab Ferrah snarled as she suffered not only one but two interruptions. The first being vampire formerly known as Masato leaping in front of her path, and then another.. well beast is the only thing that came close to describing it. Whatever curse had claimed it had also claimed most of it's body, turning it nearly entirely into a man-bat morph. She didn't have time to mess around with these creatures she needed a way to neutralize all of them at once. Making sure that the timing was perfect Ferrah formed a two quick handseals, though only one of which would be visible to the mind addled vampire. The first was an genjutsu of her person that continued to form signs only to stop just short as Masato made contact with her face, and thanks to her prowess in genjutsu he would be able to feel, see, and hear the crinkling of skin of crushing of bones underneath as the clone would drop to the ground immediately after. Mougo Shibaku no Jutsu [ False Strike Technique ]
The real Ferrah however made use of the genjutsu brief window of invisibility it provided her to have disappeared in a Shunshin. Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape [ Unnamed ] Her body reappearing safely a good distance away on a nearby rooftop. Lifting her head to the sky Ferrah appeared to preform some kind of jutsu. In reality she only mimicked hand seals commonly used in Suiton jutsu to mask her finger movements which were used in another genjutsu. This one causing the clouds to gradually grow darker and moderate sized rainstorm to begin failing that would span the immediate area and begin to soak into everyone's clothes, and once more thanks to her study in genjutsu she would be able to manipulate the jutsu to cause sound as well as it's normal touch, smell, and sight. tab Hands held clasped in front of her chest Lahlil stood completely still. she didn't know whether or not she should trust this person, I mean he is a vampire after all! Not that he couldn't be a good person on the inside too.. Overlooking him with her big purple doe eyes she meet his gaze, and with movements so small and precise that it would have been hard for most to catch on Lahlil weaved hand signs with her eyes. Dokushinjutsu [ Eye Mind Reading ] In a single move the man's mind was completely open to her. Much of it was difficult to sort though, I mean this was the first official mind she had read before so she wasn't exactly skilled in it. The more he spoke however the more she felt like she didn't even need to read his mind to know what was going on in it. She could clearly see the the two natures fighting inside of him.. sort of like how she fought against her own mind.
Taking a deep breath Lahlil stood herself up straight and spoke all the sternness that her small frame could muster. "I.. listen you're not well." she extended her hand towards the man as he passed in front of her during his predatory circle. "We need to get you to see a medical nin right away. You have some kind of infection like-" Lahlil's sentence was cut short by the voracious howling of another vampiric creature. This one seemingly more bat than human as it tumbled down from the skies and onto another muscled human whom Lahlil assumed could only be the one Zhi warned her about. Had she really not been paying that much attention to her surroundings? Then to top things off further it began to rain on her. The dark clouds came on rather suddenly however which only left her to wonder if perhaps they weren't related to this awful disease or one of these two bats. For a moment ignoring how exposed it might leave her, Lahlil took her attention off of the vampire she was talking with on onto the fight in front of her. He continued to circle with his eyes locked onto her while she spoke to him and peered into his mind, a low hiss still going. Glow of chakra emitted from his iris as the red color of vampiric faded and darkened to a deep magenta and black as the glow lit his face. The veins in his temples pulsed while the dojutsu was alive and well, the world sinking into a grey with distinguishable color of others, their aura. Chakra, each signature different from another yet Zahara was hyper focused on the one that caught his attention, wrestling with himself mentally as the push and pull continued its miniature war in his mind. This woman, upon seeing his thoughts, would see the passing thoughts of two psyches roiling over one another like water and oil heated to a boil, clashing and separating but refusing to seperate.
Humanity slowly deteriorated in him as there was no longer a spark of reason to fight back the call, the pull of the lust to succumb to baser instincts that were not his own. The metalic taste, the hot fluid he had already felt from his first victim still very well fresh in his mind and now another was on the radar, instincts washing over the mind. If she were still reading his thoughts, seeing the rapid degeneration fade she would see and feel his conflict. Pull back. A passing thought came as he flinched, ceasing his circling as he looked up with another hiss.
Don't give in. Zahara stood there with a stare down as he remained completely oblivious to the others, lost in both his own mind and locked in by its conflict. Rain dropped onto him which startled the man, corner of his mouth twitching in a smirk as his byakugan became clouded with chakra around him. A storm, rain and the change of weather came so suddenly as he curled his hands into fists, flames flickering ever so briefly as his legs flexed and the ground beneath his feet cracked slightly from his chakra venting out, he fought against his urges still as he remained there staring and kept his mental pull back to humanity.
He saw the chakra all around him of whatever technique created the rain but her signature stood out still. His chakra stopped venting from his fists as he took a step forward once her attention shifted briefly. Excitement washed over his savage side and the pull back to humanity snapped almost entirely. Blood was the call and was the motivator now as the chakra flared up all around him once again, pressure flaring up behind him as he jumped out toward the girl as an explosion of chakra erupted from behind him, the eruption blowing a chunk out of the ground he was once standing on as it scattered back away in the opposite direction. What the woman would see was Zahara lunging toward her right side, his right hand seeking to grab onto the throat with his jaw wide as he would try and tear into the girl's shoulder with fanged bite as the force of forward momentum from the chakra burst would take the two to the ground as he made his attack.
Zahara was in complete hunt mode, his mind blocking out all other distractions and environment even ignoring the second version of her that just appeared. The blood, the feed. It was all that was on his mind as his thoughts were awash with chaos of the predatory half taking full control, yet he still wrestled control back even then.

Masato would be ready to strike Zhi as something caught his sights above. Yet another predator would approach the group. This one seemed to be another apex predator like himself. Taylor's transformed nature would be beyond Masato's partial recognition, his sensory dulled by his bloodlust. An abrupt halt before his fist collided with the girl's face before him. He needed to react to the...thing above him. His brow furrowed as he snarled, He would tangle with this monster head on. He would brace himself for the beast as it crashed down, crossing his arms overhead and taking the brunt of it's descending attack. Masato would use this opportunity to manipulate his downward motion and clasp onto the monster's right shoulder with his left hand and reach around his left side with his right hand. Rotating his body to the left and pivoting, he would perform a hip toss, O-Goshi. The throw would plant the Man Bat Taylor on the ground as Masato would land on top of his torso in a seated position. From this position the Vampiric Uchiha would unleash a volley of six punches at the beast's upper torso and face as he blindly lashed out in rage. As Masato would attempt to rain down a flurry of punches, the rain nipping at his back and Taylor's face would begin to saturate the area.

__ From the temporary safety of her protective technique, Zhi and her two clones observed. Not a single one of the three didn't feel like they'd just made it easier for these lingering predators to know exactly where their prey was waiting though. Her highly detailed sensory abilities allowed her to observe the apparent and underlying ongoings of the brief clash between the genjutsu user and the feral Masato. As well, she paid mind to the degrading demeanor of the boy interacting with Lahlil several paces away from her defense. To make things more... interesting Zhi sensed the approach of what felt like Taylor's chakra- hidden somewhere deep under layers of incredibly dark energy. Her lost "best" friend seemed even more lost under the demonic guise that he appeared in. "I have no camaraderie with either of you. If you wish to revel in the past then I'm afraid I'm the wrong person." For a moment Zhi remembered their bittersweet reunion and his depressingly distant manner. Taylor went straight for Masato, but she could instinctually feel his hungering intentions also locked on herself.
Both of Zhi's clones were now actively gathering natural energy at this point. It seemed like the best opportunity while nobody's attention seemed to be directly locked on her anymore. This new ability she'd learned left her with many questions, but her father's imparted memories at least left her with answers to how even if the whys continued to flutter aimlessly. 'As much as I'd love to break up this fighting, I don't want all these people to decide they just want to share while they eat me alive. Better to let the competition beat itself down. I just hate sitting her doing nothing.' Ferrah's enacted weather manipulating technique only tipped Zhi off about also being an illusion due to the chakra instilled into everyone present for it's sensory overriding to take effect. For now, it seemed like a harmless enough illusion though; the rainfall was heavy but not enough to obscure her awareness of the battlefield. If nothing else, it gave her an idea. While her clones continued their preparations Zhi created another shadow clone in front of her. The newly created clone's chakra network was free of the illusions effect, granting her and her other clones clarity thanks to their shared Enlightening Brand. Although, at the same time, all were still aware of the genjutsu's effects. The clone's objective was simply to take over as the guard while the others were busy. The simple motions taken to form the hand seal for the Shadow Clone technique was enough to simultaneously enact her akariton as well as subtly manipulate the wood barrier's structure. In the midst of the smoke that briefly filled the cage, Zhi bent all light away from herself to perfectly camouflage herself with the Fallacy skill. Once the smoke settled she slipped out and opted to retreat from the situation.
If it were real rain, then this elusive tactic probably wouldn't serve her well, but thankfully mass hallucinations like these tended to be limited by the caster's awareness. Zhi went full speed to relocate herself about a mile to the east, still in the residential area of the village so she could keep tabs on that situation's further development. It would be excessively easy to notice any pursuers too. Zhi rendered a couple in a small apartment unconscious and bound them to secure her hiding place. Doors and windows were closed and locked as well. "What a day..." Zhi sighed halfheartedly. So far, that Lahlil girl was the only one that seemed remotely sane, but there was no way to extract her and escape at the same time. Unfortunately, this had to be something she dealt with by herself. But for right now she had to see how all of this played out between her friends and other comrades.
Although she had figured out how to gather the natural energy, she was still sorting through the imparted information on how to properly use it. While away from the combat and ruckus, she could meditate and learn in a bit of quick self study. It was doubtful that she'd need it to fight any one of them individually. Even still, having it would be a boon if she ended up having to fight a bunch of them at once after all. The dangers of petrification were made known to her, but so was the first-hand experience of how to properly channel natural energy to avoid such consequence. 'Too much at once and I'll mess myself up. Although, apparently too much given to others without training also caused them to turn to stone. This could be useful to know.' Zhi quietly thanked her father for his foresight, even though he was extremely ambiguous about why all this power was being offered to her in the first place. 'I can do this. I can do this no problem at all!' Zhi thought confidently. With these blessings, her natural genius and her skill in quick adaptation Zhi would master this Sage Mode stuff lickety split. Since she didn't have any natural energy prepared in herself, yet, she couldn't yet outright attempt to use it but she could still align her intent and willpower to practice activating the Awoken State in the same way she could recall. Like her clones, she too would begin banking natural energy. If the clones were destroyed or if she dispelled them, she'd simply take back whatever normal chakra they had left as well as their gathered natural energy. 'This stuff has a lot of ups and downs. Although, the risk seems worth the reward.' Zhi reassured herself as she continued trying to best use her bided time. It might not be long before those bloodthirsty shinobi realized that only a bunch of clones were left in her stead. Then they'd surely come looking for her again. Then again, hopefully the would not. Then she could finish this training and continue trying to figure out what was happening to the village. Not to mention figuring out why and how to change things back. The sooner all of this was over the better. Zhi was already sick of watching everyone hurting each other and not even knowing why they were doing it.
