The sound of feet on the ground, the sound of movement that seemed to move with a steady beat. A nosepass walked, she didn't walk fast, she didn't walk slow, but she walked and walked through rain, sleet, and snow. The fire that sands, the heat of the desert, nothing would stop her. Nothing could chance her direction.
Her eyes saw the boy, and she saw her chance.
A smile grace her face, though she didn't have a mouth, but at the very least her eyes seemed to dance. There was a trainer here, a human and pokemon, two. It was time to see if her training had do a thing for her or two.
Her talons clicked on fur not flesh, but she was just over his head. Her wings were wide, her talons wasn't stuck or trapped, so she would strike again. If she could just get enough of her talons on his flesh, she would drive him to the ground and peck him to death.
She was not one to go over, this was become a life or death situation for her partner.

Another line of blood appeared on the bear cub as he was tagged once more by the Murkrow. His eyes only flashed once with determination. That maneuver hadn't worked so he needed to step up his game. He tried running even faster, hoping to avoid the next!
Her hold wasn't strong enough, she caught flesh in her talons, but it hadn't sunk deep enough as the bear rip free and continued his run. Feet versus wings, it was never a very good competition as she would screech her defiance of his escape and would seek to drive him to ground again.
Beating her wings furiously she would reach out for him again.

The Cubchoo was starting to get tired. The various wounds on his body were throbbing but he wasn't done just yet. He would start to slow down but continued jogging along. The bird might slow down as well the longer this game went on? Either way, they would continue!
Fur and flesh and blood would stain the snow. Atiena was getting her talons in, but not deep. The same luxuries fur that she desired was also thick enough that she wasn't scoring a lasting hold and wasn't getting her claws in deep enough for it to actually count. If she could just grip deeper, if she could only drive him down, she could take him back.
IF only, but this bear was persistent. He just wouldn't drop, but she was determine she wasn't going to surrender either.

The bear cub stumbled and felt a deep rip from the Murkrow's beak. This time blood stained the ground as he stood there panting. This bird was really fast! Rolling in the snow to try and stem the bleeding, he would haul himself to his paws and resume running. The game was almost over but who would really become the victor in the end?
Brian was about to return Purr to her Pokeball to keep her from getting too hot when they heard what sounded like footsteps, and they looked up to see a Nosepass standing in front of them. This was the second Nosepass they'd seen, but unlike the first one, this one seemed to want to battle. "What d'ye think, Purr?" he asked. "Should we battle?" The Espurr looked at the Nosepass with a hint of hesitation, knowing that the only attack she had that would do any damage was her Scratch attack, which wasn't all that effective on Rock types like Nosepass. But what could it hurt? Maybe they would do better this time. So she handed Brian's hat back to him and jumped to the ground, taking a fighting stance and hoping this battle might turn out better than the last one. "Alright, Purr, Scratch!" Brian called, after placing his hat back on his head. The Espurr's paw lit up white as she rushed forward.
The pokemon called out loudly as she stood her ground. The pokemon came at her with extended claws, but she knew that she should stand her ground. Against her strong hide, she could easily deflect it and then she would get her chance to attack.
After that, oh after that, she would finally see what pokemon with a trainer could do. It's strength, a trainer's strength, she had heard tales, but finally she will see it for herself.
Oh, this was going to be epic.
Her eyes glowing as she felt the attack hit her, and she tried to stick her feet into the earth to keep from being moved even an inch.
It happen, it finally happen. The pokémon would literally drop into the snow, and her eyes would sparkle. Atiena saw her chance at last as she would back up a bit to give herself room.
Roll, roll, roll, but it was rising again.
Her beak was covered in the blood of her opponent, but the bear was strong enough to still get back to his paws.
NO, she would end this now as she dove. This time she would hit him with her full strength, and with that, Atiena folded her wings and she would drive down at him. This would end if she could only hit hard enough and fast enough.
It had been quite a run but with one final hit from the bird, the bear collapsed onto the ground unconscious. Once he had hit the ground, a very cracked silver disk rolled out from beneath his fur. It was extremely beat up. The letters and numbers TM51 were very faintly and barely visible through all the chipping and cracks. They would need to find someone to fix it before it would be usable. It would seem the pair were free to move forward.
The shiny bit of metal gleam in the weak sunlight as Atiena saw the pokemon fall. She had attacked and attack again and it had fallen, but it was still breathing. It's breathe was coming out slowly yet surely as she looked at the glinting piece of plastic and went over to gather it first.
The pokemon was unconscious, she had no fear of it running away, but she had another problem to face as she grips it gently in her beak. Can she travel with both the item and the bear's corpse?
She looks over at the bear and makes a decision, she had flown far and hard, but it outweighed her. She could keep attacking it until she kills it, but, she was wasting time. The flight back with it would be hard and it would take more time than she liked, so if she was going to go back.
She needed to do it now, or she would simply leave it behind.
In the snow she hop onto it's body, it's fur so warm to her talons, and she aim for right between its eyes with a sharp peck. If this strike didn't kill it, she would leave it behind.
She would have to help her trainer survive without this pokemon's fur.
It was a tough flight. The pokemon's dead body was gripped in her talons as she left a bloody trail behind her. She couldn't fly too far off of the ground, the cubchoo's body was too heavy, but she had managed to get airborne and she refused to be taken back to earth. Flapping hard and gliding when she could she would retrace her own steps and eventually see the foot marks in the snow.
Following her trainer's trail as she could see signs of him stumbling in the snow. Her fear grew as sometimes the trail would have a full body print, and through her wings scream from the additional weight she would push herself faster.
Her mind screaming ..please, please don't be dead.
She couldn't have went for help only to leave him to die. Finally she would see it, the change in his foot steps as something much bigger and heavier was called forth.
Mizuki must have reached his limit.
He called out Kovu.
The print was much more massive and easier to follow as she finally intercepted them. Mizuki was draped over the hunking creature's back and Kovu looked back and snort at her. Mizuki wasn't even twitching, but if Kovu was carrying him that he couldn't be dead.
Her relief was huge, even as Kovu would made his own bitting comment.

Atiena would screech back.
(I never abandon him, I tried to find something that might help him better survive this horrible cold)
She declares as she drops the carcasses of the dead Cubchoo on the ground. The Rhyhorn would give it a sniff.
(Good hunt, so now what?)
Atiena would roll her eyes as him as she landed and drop the Tm: Steel wing next to him. Then she would work on astonishing the pokemon by literally skinning the cubchoo in front of him. She would use her razor sharp beak almost like a knife and take the bloody skin and roll it in the snow to get some of the blood off of it.
The meat, she would cut pieces out of it, making sure she left as much of the fat behind as possible. Then she would smile at him as she used her wings to try gather the fat on top along with the bits of meat she hadn't cut away. Then she would turn her attention to the pokemon's head, as she tears the skull from the rest of the body and turn it upside down to set the fat on top of it.
Her body would suddenly start to radiate heat.
She could keep herself warm, she could keep her trainer warm, if she had better control but it was best to let her heat wave do what it does best.
Put one foot on the fat a flame would start.
Kovu would look at the small bird in surprise.

He would rumble as he places the body on the cubchoo fur. Shifting his body behind him so that he would sit up instead of falling into the snow and off of the small fur coat, Atiena would land on his back.
She would continue to use heat wave to warm up the Rhyhorn. A pokemon resist to it, it would warm him up, but not case the fire that she risk with Mizuki.
It would take a while, but he would eventually wake up.
Slow to move and groaning abit, Mizuki would nuzzle against Kovu.
"I am surprise you two were able to work together to do this?"
He would declare. Kovu was newly caught, often time pokemon newly caught can be difficult to deal with, especially if it wasn't on good terms. The Rhyhorn would only sigh.
He knew the boy couldn't understand him, but what other choice did he have?
His fate, their fates were now tied.
The guardian knew what happen to a pokemon that had been captured, and he decided that he would risk it all with his new trainer. It was like that that the group would actually fall asleep. The flames and the warmth of the rhyhorn made it as comfortable as one could get in the snow.
As the group slept, a Bunnelby would make it's way quickly and quietly as fast as possible. Rumors were spreading about the Murkrow that was part of this group and what had happened to a poor Cubchoo who had just wanted to play a game of tag! Oh no. This was not good. Instead this poor pokemon did not want to be the next victim. Twitching it's nose, the pokemon would scurry away as fast as it's legs would carry it. The group would not be disturbed in the least....
Mizuki would be feeling better when he roused. His strength was back, but the cold was still awful. The heat was gone to leave behind cold stone as it would seem that Atiena had fallen asleep as well. The flames the only thing that kept any kind of warmth for them.
The boy hated to rouse them, but the longer they stayed here the worst it was for them all.
He would get up, and that would instantly have his two partners jump to their feet in alarm.
"It's time to go."
Mizuki would declare as he grabs what meat remain from the cubchoo. He would move to cook it over the flames.
"After breakfast."
It was near noon when they got back to walking again. The sun was at it's highest, but the place was still horrible cold as they continued on their way.
Brian was about to return Purr to her Pokeball to keep her from getting too hot when they heard what sounded like footsteps, and they looked up to see a Nosepass standing in front of them. This was the second Nosepass they'd seen, but unlike the first one, this one seemed to want to battle.
