Joe attempted to grab Aries once more, but he would try to roll out of the way and use the ropes to get to his feet.

Samoa Joe gets to his feet before Aries does, and tries to clothesline Austin Aries over the top rope when Austin gets up using the ropes.

Not seeing the move coming because he was too fixated on escaping the submission, Aries would be clotheslined right over the top rope and to the floor, landing on his back

Samoa Joe would back up to the center of the ring, watching Aries.

After a few moments would pass and the referee would get near the ropes to initiate the count, Aries would get to one knee and eventually to his feet, turning back to the ring, when.....

Samoa Joe attempts to time it right by running to the opposite ropes, hitting them to pick up speed and comes back to dive through the middle and top rope to hit a suicide dive forearm on Austin Aries.

Aries would be clocked with the forearm, and he would get pushed up against the barricade wall, now falling to the floor

Joe lands on the floor as well, and gets to his knees.

Aries would be laying on his stomach, as the referee would once again, be counting, with the two on the outside again. Aries would touch his mouth a few times checking for blood----none.

Samoa Joe would get back in the ring. Thinking he may have done enough damage to Aries to maybe win by countout. The count was at 4.

The count reaches 7 as Aries is showing signs of life. Samoa Joe eagerly waits.

Aries would begin to crawl slowly to the ring apron. He would use the ring skirt to lift himself up, slowly.. but this was just a mere strategy. He wasn't that much in a critical condition, but buying time to recuperate.. he would then roll in at the count of 9.

Samoa Joe had a plan if Aries made it back in time. He immediately lifts him up when he rolls in and drives him into the closest corner. From there, he attempts to sit Aries on the top turnbuckle.

Aries would be brought up to sit on the top turnbuckle, however, he would try to kick Samoa Joe away.
