Nah, I'd be concerned too. XD And, really, thanks for pointing it out so that I could fix it right up.
I'm just disappointed in myself because I totally triple checked it all. And now XDD I can't trust my triple checks. I totally saw that every time and okayed it.
But <.< >.> I've had this happen over the years, so it's nothing new.
On a calculus exam, I totally wrote down that 2 x 3 = 5
I even had extra time to check over my paper, twice I think, before turning it in. And every time I read that line, it checked out as true. Yep, two times three equals five and has always equaled five. I can't even claim I read it as plus. XDD;
Ugh.
There were 10 questions, each worth 10 points. The teacher said if I'd left it as "2x3," I would've gotten full points.
Instead, I wrote 5 right under that line.
So.... she said she took off half credit, five points, for my mistake of writing 5. DX She knew I could multiply. And that was the last line of the problem! I'd gotten the whole rest of the problem correct. Had I written 6 (the answer), it'd be correct. AND I would've gotten 100% on that exam.
But I wrote that 2 x 3 = 5 and XDD did I just get a point off for a silly mistake? Nope.
She said I'd never make that mistake again tho.
And XDD I don't. .... because now I never trusted myself to math again during exams and always pulled out a calculator, to check even the smallest things <.<; like 2 x 3.
...Because I just get into that mode where something is true... and has always been true and then XDD see the exam the next time and just think "wtf was I thinking? The sky isn't purple! It's blue. Always blue!"
// story time.
Anyway XD; this was again one of those moments. OTL
Good thing they don't happen often... but they happen. And XD thanks for catching it. c:

Perception is a magical thing, isn't it? I swear I saw an armadillo as a kid and I know I almost certainly didn't, it was PROBABLY an echidna, but I can't see an echidna, even when I think 'yep, it probably was one.' I can't see that creature as having quills, only flat scale-like plates. There's a possibility someone brought an armadillo in from another country and it escaped, or that that echidna was sick or something, but those are very unlikely.
I think the point is is not to take anything for granted ^^ If everyone was a bit more aware of perception bias, we'd all be much happier. YAY FOR PERCEPTION.
It was a super fun contest though, so thanks again for hosting ^^
