At this point, the harsh and cacophonous battlefield was no longer perturbing Lunestra -- and it certainly was at first. The sounds of battle were highly individual yet melded in quite strangely, and Lunestra began to wonder if her brother once had a battle such as this in the past. Even so, Lunestra was glad she was under the guise of protection -- but she knew all too well that hiding for the rest of the battle was inconceivable, and a traitorous act upon her teammates and classmates. Even if she did provide a well-suited handicap to the snipers, they would undoubtedly descend and join the fray on the ground.
And that they did.
Even so, Tessa had made up her mind -- and with great force, lifted Jessica onto her shoulders and pried slabs from the ground, shielding them from incoming bullet onslaughts. The rhino faunus and her teammate soon were off, away from the safety of the stone pyramid Tessa had engendered, and were heading directly to where they needed to go. Furrowing her brow, Lunestra watched the scene unfold -- Lunia was in over her head, at least she assumed so, despite damaging her opponent. Ivory was clashing with one with gauntlets, meanwhile Ivory's battle-partner was about to be axed. Someone suspected the owl faunus' position, and another sought to mutilate the tailed-faunus. So much was going on, but what caught Lunestra's eye was. . .
A bandit attempting to ambush Jessica from behind.
Lunestra sprung into action. Materializing a glyph directly beneath her and imbuing it with wind dust, the heiress spread her wings and used her glyph's wind-power and her winged agility to blast forth with great speed, Glyphon's blade-form in her right hand prepared and ready for a swift, painful slash onto the bandit that sought to injure her teammate. Lunestra made certain to keep her body in control, however -- she was gliding with great alacrity, and she maintained her precision. If something were to go wrong, no doubt she'd be ready. She wouldn't want to accidentally attack her own teammate or Tessa, after all -- even if they had their aura and defenses up. Even so, the two were the only ones Lunestra could reach on such short notice, and the sudden burst would hopefully be a certain surprise to the furtive, ambushing bandit.

As the rope pulled the girl through the thick of combat feet rushed forward and a pot bounced ontop of the boy's head. His eyes squinted while his mouth held a determined frown. The young man would swiftly pull the pot from his head with a single motion and jump infront of Lunia. The fist of the larger bandit hitting against it with a heavy blow, forcing the young girl to run into the boy's back. His body quivered at the strike seeing the hit had really put a dent in his pot, though after the strike and a grunt, his arm would draw back and pull from a sheath. The blade's guard was ornated with lines of royal like origine as he used a single mighty swing to try and slash the man's chest, either to harm him, or force him back. Though with the strike to the pot, the boy was shaken. After this, his body stepped back with his lip panting a bit and eyes wincing. "Shucks. . . That looked like trouble." He'd mutter under his breath before hitting the dent out of the pot with his hilt and placing it on his head. His eyes would blink a bit as he held his sword forward at the ready for the bandit, while his eyes look back to Lunia, the girl he had came out to save. "I reckon you were in a pickle. Guess gettin' lost ain't all too bad ma'am." The boy would rise up from his knee and stand as strong as he could muster, looking around at the many teams battling and fighting the bandits. "Sorry for buttin' in ma'am, if it were a misunderstandin' but, I didn't want ya to get hurt." His words had a bit of joy behind them as a child like smile peered across his face. "James Cichild is the name, but you can call me Jimmy." He'd greet giving a slight look back to her and then to the battle before him.
Lunia's eyes opened widely with fear as she got tugged towards the bandit, he pulled her right for his fist which was directly in line for contact with her face. "How does he know who I am?! " she was so confused, the blue hair was a huge giveaway however she figured the bandit wouldn't even pay attention to that. Before she collided with the huge fist, she didn't see exactly what happened but knew she was in a much better situation as she landed into a boy's back. She stumbled slightly into him, the momentum of her fall pushed her chakrams on the ground not far from them.
Lunia looked to the young man who saved her life, and also looked around the field - it almost reminded her of battlefields she had read about. "This is real, you are going to die if you don't pull yourself together Lunia.. " she said, her eyes wide as she witnessed her friends in fights. "T-thank you for helping me, Jimmy.. " she said. She hadn't seen him previous to this, where did he come from?
"My name is Lunia-" she said, rolling on the ground she picked up her ranged weapons and stood ready, "Let's go!" she said, changing her weapons back to melee form she ran at the brute of a bandit and as he aimed his hammer for her she slid right under and through his legs, aiming her blades for his back.
With her side vision, she looked - making sure Jazz and her team mates were ok. She noticed bandit heading for Charlotte and looked worried, "CHARLOTTE! Behind you!!" she yelled, she would do her best to look out for her team.

Ivory and Narx were getting pounded by one hit after another, but a massive blast seemed to startle the bandits and take off the stray shots from an occasional sniper. This gave Narx some leeway to hammer his opponents back a few feet. Each time he knocked them back they seemed to regain their composure faster. "To hell with this! We need some he-!"He didn't have time to finish his sentence as an axe blow to the head suddenly came out of nowhere. He didn't have time to dodge so he did what few others cou.d He took it head on. The blade smashed into his face, but fortunately his aura shield sliced between the blade and his skin with a grey sheen. It took out a lot of aura to take a normally deadly hit straight on."That's it. That is really it. I'm going to take your arm off now."Narx's eyes narrowed with focus. He slammed the same bandit with his hammer and sent the man's axe flying. He swung his hammer in a circle and bashed his legs out from under him and finally swept his hammer into the air and straight down on the man's right arm. A crack could be heard by the sudden gushing of human jooces."That oughtta teach you punk! We never did anything to you."In the midst of his little duel he ended up quite some distance from Ivory, but he seemed to be holding his ground. Narx decided he would play decoy and started to run straight into the fray where the snipers would surely be able to fire at him.

Being lifted onto Tessa's shoulder it gave Jessica enough height to take out a few bandits. Reloading she leaned back as a bandit had gotten really close to her with their sword. Because of the lean she rolled of Tessa's shoulder, firing directly into the bandit that tried to get her. "LUNESTRA!” Taking off a Bandolier of flash bang grenades and waving them at her. She could see her team mate in the sky, tossing the bandolier up. "There are eight in total, pick a group, pull the pin, and drop them." Moving up to Tessa and firing at the bandits who had gotten too close to escape. Peeking at Ivory in the corner of her eye, seeing him fight with Narx. "Tessa fire your weapon into the largest of groups. Piss some bad news on them."

The bandits are calling to attack the students and in both groups. The bandits were using different tactics from heavy hitters too long ranged attacks on students so they meant business. A bandit came in with a surprise attack and charged at Lunia. Fortunately, she was saved by a kid called, Jimmy. " Jimmy...was it? Nice save." Oswald walked passed him and Lunia. Oswald used the opportunity right after the grunt's attack was blocked and the grunt's weapon was brought back. Oswald activated his Jet Mode to close the gap between him and the grunt and delivered a heavy right straight punch on the solar plexus. "Jazz, your up!!"
Danaë would see that she had been spotted. Damn it. She would have no way of communicating with the person while her Semblance was up. However, she could feel it already starting to fade. She would turn towards the person that wanted to fight her. Damn it, she wasn't as strong by herself. She really needed to get up her Muscle mass, but this wasn't the time. She would dash off to the side, her heels making no noise as they clashed on the pavement. She would point the pistols at the person. The shots would be silent as they flew out. She wasn't good at long range, however, they both had the same kinds of weapons. After she fired, she would charge forward, her pistols becoming daggers again as she charged forward, swinging her blades. She hoped that the shots would cover her.

Ivory would watch as the man in front of him was fighting with his fists. Had he been a better fighter, he wouldn't have let the person get as close to him as he was. Ivory would let out a growl towards the man. He however, had to decide which blow to take. He didn't think that he could block the fists, however, he had a thought. He would quickly put his blade hilt on his pelvic bone. It would point up. The guy had a choice, continue with the attack, or become skewered.

Jazz watched in horror as the bandits rushed them. Charlotte and Lunia were the first to respond, Charlotte taking a defensive stance while Lunia opted for a more offensive role. They're already splitting us up. He knew the other teams were struggling with their own issues but he had to place his own team as the priority for now. If we can lower their numbers even more this'll become a landslide victory.
Lunia was facing down an opponent who was stronger albeit slower than her. As long as she doesn't get caug-. The bandit wasn't a fool he saw an opportunity to grab the rope connecting her weapon. His instincts told him to rush forward but he noticed another bandit rushinig towards Charlotte. s**t. What do I do? Fortunately another face appeared to rescue Lunia from the bandits large fist. Thank god! He breathed in a sigh of relief.
The issue became where Jazz was meant to go. It would be easy to abandon Charlotte to this bandit to help take down another, 4v1 would easily help with that. But he knew it would result in a team member going down. I need to slow this new one down a little. Indecisiveness would be the downfall of the team.
Pulling out his weapon he utilised it's shotgun form, blasting the oncoming bandit. Charlotte, can you hold this one back for a second. If we get too seperated it'll be our downfall, so shout the moment you need backup. His attack wasn't intended to do a great deal of damage but rather to increase the time before the bandit reached Charlotte, hopefully giving Charlotte enough time to defend herself.
After firing a couple times to slow the new bandit, Jazz turned and made his way towards the larger bandit, ducking behind Oswald as he shot forwards. Oswald used Lunias distraction to deal a heavy blow setting up Jazz to move in next. Switching his weapon to it's sword form he zipped out from behind Oswald and sliced the large bandit along his front moving to block Oswald from a counter attack. If we can keep this attack rotation going this guy won't get a chance to respond.

Being attacked on all sides was certainly not ideal , but when one had shields and a sentinel it was considerably easier to deal with..until she rolled off and left Tessa alone. Lovely... The giant faunus grunted as she slowed and pivoted on one leg, twisting her upper body as she threw one of the stone shields she'd made sideways at the bandit fighting Ivory, and the other in an arc at where she had a vague idea of where one of snipers was nesting, at the very least she'd hopefully distract him long enough for one of her teammates to get out of their line of fire. However now Tessa's blood was pumping and her adrenaline was flowing, in her mind it was time to finally bring out what she'd kept deactivated out of desire to keep things sporting...stupid yes, fun...also yes. There was a distinct series of metallic clicking sounds as the rhino turned to face the clusters of bandits Jessica had mentioned, she bared her teeth as the slack in her large, sweeping sleeves was filled with her arm guards expanding into gauntlets covering her arms with thick plates of angled metal while guiding her fingers and palms with wicked looking sharp talons capped with what looked to be dull colored diamond. Tessa raised both arms, fingers closed, at the largest clusters as she felt the automatic loader click a round into place in the weapons before a hollow 'thump' sound signaled the release of two rounds sent sailing straight at the bandits. She didn't aim for the body , certainly, but she did aim for the ground in front of their feet just far enough away from the clusters not to kill them, but certainly enough for them to have a distinct ringing in their ears coupled with the sensation of being kicked by an elephant. As the weapons automatically loaded a new round into the chambers, Tessa leaned down and pulled a large chunk of rock out of the road before taking off in a sprint toward the snipers that had moved into punching range. How unfortunate for them.
Mid stride Tessa brought her leg and arm up simultaneously, stomping hard and making a downard striking motion with her elbow, causing a stone the size of a volleyball to pop into the air while a slab rose and bumped the one with sword in hand off balance. As the stone came down Tessa settled her stance before striking forward with her rear arm, hitting the stone as it fell to shoulder height, simultaneously detonating the shell in the firing chamber as the force of her strike shattered the rock.The combination created a hail of searing hot stone sent flying toward the bandit , tumbling in the orange belch of the directed explosion in front of the faunus. It wouldn't be enough to kill ...probably, but it would absolutely hurt, though not as much as Tessa's follow up. The giant faunus stepped close, far too close for someone her size to wind up for an effective strike, but thankfully that wasn't how this one fought. With a sudden drop in stance, modified with a half lunge, Tessa dropped her center of gravity to match the bandit's as they no doubt reeled from the shock of her last attack, and with a loud "OSU!" she twisted her torso, striking the bandit in the side, quickly stepped her rear leg into place to catch them at the thigh, then with a hand on the back of their head, she pushed and swept their leg from under them. There was a dull thudding noise as the bandit's face met the concrete, followed by a low crack as Tessa pivoted her leg and dropped her knee straight into the bandit's ribcage, likely breaking a few on impact. "Stay down, or it hit you again"
Considering the speed Lunestra was darting at, coupled with her adroit usage of her wings, there was no doubt that she managed to land a clean, grueling slash onto the ambushing bandit's back -- this caused the bandit to gurgle with pain as he fell to his knees, likely subject to any further onslaught that anyone else wished to offer. Naturally, her teammate Jessica reacted immediately and delivered further punishment.
However, Lunestra wasn't cruel -- not necessarily. She didn't wish to kill this bandit, for they were still human. . . Even if they were a squalid excuse for one. But, she wouldn't be able to stop someone else from doing so. Not right now, at least. Even so, she ascended further into the sky, knowing full well she wasn't in any immediate danger of gun fire.
She kept her eyes peeled however, her senses heightened, and her aura sharp. Furrowing her brow, she quickly grasped the bandoleer of flashbang grenades and blinked rapidly, confused at Jessica's action but otherwise unfazed. This was likely for the best anyway -- all she needed to do was wait for the strategic moment, for bandits to truly huddle together like cattle and then unleash flashbang hell on them. But for now, that moment wasn't yet. . . Unless.
Lunestra's eyes caught Narx's form heading deeper into the fray, and she saw an opportunity. In flight, she was quick -- very quick. She soared towards him and rose up a single flashbang grenade."I release this, and we take them down." Is all she instructed as she removed the pin and tossed it with a grunt towards one of the groups of bandits, naturally calling out a warning to any of her fellow classmates and teammates to disperse before getting caught in its dissonant waves.
Afterwards, Lunestra would naturally shift back to watch the scene unfold -- if any, looking for an opening, with one part of Glyphon in fan-defense and the other part of the set in sword mode, ready to unleash any glyphs or ripostes. She was a Krayeth after all, taught by one of the best, and she had noted that some of these bandits sought to clip her wings. Not. Going. To happen.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The bandit against Narx thought they had him as their axe made contact with his head, they were so sure that they let their guard down and ended up with a messed up arm. He let out a shriek in pain as his arm lay limp beside him. He witnessed Narx leaving him and chased for him, "Oh no you don't!" he said, as he jumped forward, aiming a slash for his back with his only usable but weaker hand - stupid mistake.
Ivories attack worked and the bandits fist was impaled by his sword, he jumped backwards and winced in pain a little, "Clever kitty" he said, blood dripping from his arm. This bandit in particular wasn't any good at distance fighting, they ripped off part of their clothing and wrapped it around their arm, trying to stop the rush of blood. He smirked, lifting his good arm up, he signaled for Ivory to come and fight him - inside he was worried that Ivory would fight from a distance, something this bandit couldn't take.
The bandit aiming their throws for Danae lost her for a split second, one of the shots from her weapon made contact with the bandits leg, putting him off balance as he tried to avoid the other ones. He turned around with his back facing her, trying to pick out where she was. Danaes blades made contact with his back, sending him onto his knees on the ground - he was caught off guard. He turned around, still on the ground, and aimed a close quarters knive for any part of her front. ╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The bandit took Lunestras blow to his back and laughed, cracking his neck - it seemed he almost 'enjoyed' the pain. He avoided Jessicas shots, one lightly grazing his cheek and continued to pursue her. Tessa seemed to be pursuing someone else, leaving Jessica on her own for now. The bandit smiled at her, cracking his neck again. Spinning his longsword within his hands, he jumped at Jess, aiming a few direct slashes for her front, while keeping an eye on those guns.
The second bandit with the club for a weapon continued his pursuit for Lunestra, he witnessed her throwing a grenade towards the fight, aiming towards both friend and foe. At first, he thought she was made to aim it so close to others she was with, and although she called out, those in the heat of battle may not hear it in time. He also didn't want his own team suffering from it, and ran at the grenade, he slid on his side to advance forwards quicker, also being able to aim back into the sky. With a swing of his club, he smacked the grenade back into the sky and right at Lunestra, the timer on it would go off in seconds - she had barely any time to move. ╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The larger bandit let out a gutsy laugh, he looked at Lunia and then to Jimmy and patted his chest with one fist like a Gorilla. "You made a mistake saving that one!" he said, pointing to Lunia. He rushed forwards towards them, his sword at the ready, and aimed a high swing as he saw Lunia run for him. She was stupid trying to take him on face to face, but she was also smarter than that, as she slipped right under him he was knocked forwards by the impact of her blades taking on his back.
He thought to turn around and grab Lunia but was instead met by the blow from Oswald in his stomach, they were coordinated attacks and it wasn't over there. Jazz's attack again surprised the bandit, he just wasn't quick or smart enough to keep up with these consecutive hits. He looked to Jazz and Oswald and realised the smallest of the group was still behind him, as Lunia moved around to join her teammates he brought his leg out and booted her in the stomach, sending her across the ground a few yards into Jazz and Oswald coughing as she was winded badly.
"I crush you puny boys, come and get it!" he shouted to them, laughing. This bandit barely moved, he was almost like a wall, but no wall wasn't penetrable.
The bandit making her way to Charlotte continued her pursuit, the shots from Jazz had to make her move from side to side, slowing her down as she also heard Lunia shouting for Charlotte to look out. Taking out her daggers, the bandit aimed two swift slices for her tail. ╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝
Rolling back further from the bandit with the sword she quickly reloaded. Taking aim and releasing the magazine right at the man with sword. Not checking if he would go down, knowing she wouldn’t have a chance to fully reload from that she drew her melee weapon. Tomahawk in hand she grinned under her mask. Closing her eyes she tapped into her semblance. Her body, cloths, and gear becoming covered in a tough metal. Knowing she could take rockets in this state she wasn't too worried about taking the damage, it was if someone could pop the bandit before she got out. "Please let someone take out this guy, or keep him busy, long enough for a reload."
