Thoughts were racing through Sonnie's head. Wander's obvious panic only added to his own fears. His foot tapped rapidly, but his face was frozen, eyes wide. His gut told him he didn't want Poe to go. But, was that selfish of him? If Poe left for space, him and Wander would be fine. They would be uncomfortable, maybe following a different rebel, but they wouldn't be alone.

Sonnie lifted his head and scanned the room. Yes, they had the numbers. There was no way they'd be truly alone. Sonnie's eyes fell back to the floor in front of him. Poe would be more useful in space, wouldn't he? Plus, it was such a cool experience he'd be giving up. Just for him and Wander? Sonnie frowned.

"I think you should go," the puppet spoke up. Sonnie's eyes wavered, on the brink of tears. "I-if you want to..." the puppet added, covering his mouth with the neck of his shirt. He looked at Poe briefly, but his eyes darted back to the ground. "I'd want to..." Sonnie mumbled into his shirt.

Sonnie didn't get it. Could he, though? "Th-there's bad things u-up there... I-if p-people have to be r-ready to f-f-fight... It's g-gotta be bad... If I-I c-could help, m-maybe..." But she couldn't. She couldn't ever do anything. She was too small. And even if she wasn't, would it matter anyway? But two trolls were better than one. She thought, anyway. And yet, her partner stuff with Cynril during Bloodfest had gone so badly... Deep in her pumpbiscuit, she felt like a failure. Could she do better, really? Or was she just dragging everyone down? Did she seem...that needy?

She didn't like doing things by herself, no, but she'd done them before anyway. Because she had to. As hard as it was, she knew everyone had to do that. But losing Poe, losing track of him, well, while she wanted to be able to hold his hand when he got nervous, something kept eating at her worse than her own inadequacies.

"S-space is scary...b-b-but i-ff I could go s-so you would get to b-be happy, I-O would. What s-scares me more i-is..." She looked at his prosthetic leg again, looked away. She swallowed. "I-I'm m-m-more scared...s-something bad w-will happen and I-I-I w-won't be able to d-d-do anything b-because I won't...c-can't...b-be there..."

Poe said that he would stay. But it didn't make her feel much better, for some reason. She still felt vaguely like she was seeming needy. And she hated it.

Wander turned back to Sonnie, who looked real stressed himself. "Sonnie..." Was that because of her, too? She hugged into him. "P-please don't cry... M-maybe someday w-we'll get to go to space, too... I-I'd go with you... Maybe then i-i-t'll be more fun than scary and s-serious... Aaaaa...."

Stryke laughed softly at Rasali's input. "fair, i'll have to snag myself some after the meeting..." He loved sweets, that was an unspoken truth he generally kept it on the down-low just how much he enjoyed such treats.

Seeing Vremea brought a smile to the younger yellowbloods face. He nodded to her in greeting as they all settled in. She often times came and went, using her disguise to move through the world undetected. Vremea had always been an inspiration, she was a truly driven individual.

Raising his chin, he listened closely first to Cerpin deliver his speech, his eyes widening slightly as he weighed of his words carefully. Between what was said, he could decipher that this was no light-hearted mission. Tevini carefully outlined her part of the debriefing, he couldn't help but smile proudly at her for being confident enough to address everyone. They all would have jobs to do, and within all fairness, it was only a matter of time for both ground and space teams to do all they could effort wise. Stryke exhaled slowly as he tightly crossed his arms over his chest.

Stryke's eyes traveled to Byakko for a long moment, listening to her explanation. As usual, she was to the point and made it clear what they had to do. In turn, everyone spoke up, asking their questions. He truly did not have any of his own. He was certain he would have to do what he could to help coordinate his teams' efforts. Stryke would need to work with them, as well as make his reports. Regular contact would have to be properly arranged, and just as Byakko said they would need to use discretion with the utmost care.

"whatever we find...we will accomplish all we can. Together. we may not know what's out there." Stryke found his voice, going so far as to speak up. Clearing his throat as he sat up a bit taller. "but we will have each other to rely on regardless, as i mentioned. no matter where any of us go..or what part of the mission we are on. remember we are all a team." His eyes scanned the faces of trolls younger than he. Some looked afraid, others looked hopeful. He nodded with a light tap of his fingers against his forearm. None of what he said wasn't so much as a question as it was a statement. It was a lot to take in, there would be many variables. Logically Stryke saw it as an opportunity.

Stryke would do what he could to keep his team safe as possible given the odds. All of this meant further their movements plans. Something that was incredibly important

Failure was not an option.
