Esmeralda heard her notification tone and looked to her phone pulling it out of her pocket. Alright. I'll meet you there then. Hope your studies go well. She put her phone back in her pocket and grabbed her meal walking towards the group and sat down setting her phone on the table in case Noah texted her back. She looked to Waylon when he said she didnt need to stay then around to the others. "No it's fine I'm just texting a friend about meeting up later" she assured them with a smile. She nodded and smiled going to the pub sounded fun but she still wanted to do something with Noah later so she would see what he wanted to do.
Jace ate his pizza as he looked around at the others as they planned what to do after Magic Studies. He was a bit nervous for it but he knew he needed the help. He knew Kolya and the others would be there so he hoped that wold give him some sense of comfort. He really had to work on keeping them in check without his emotions affecting them. He looked back to Kolya and the other nodding his head. "I think heading to the Pub after sounds good" Jace replied. He looked to Mosiah when he asked to join them and nodded in agreement when Kimberly said it was fine. He then looked to Axel. "Yeah sounds like that the plan" he said and took another bite of his pizza.

Kimberly was happy to have a plan made for after Magic Studies and turned the conversation from classes and everything after it, sensing Jace's discomfort. "Maybe we should make it a plan to meet up as a big group at the Pub or Student Lounge once a week or something. It would be a fun distraction from studies and the chaos of university," she stated. She was one for studying and making sure her studies were never falling behind, but she knew that a social life was necessary. Having one night a week to meet up and enjoy life was as important as study. She hoped the others agreed, but knew that someone was bound to not feel interested.
Kolya nodded in agreement to Kimberly's statement, knowing he would like a chance to unwind. He was keen to get some alcohol and maybe shoot some pool, try some food, and be social. He wasn't the most likely to go out, being a bit of an introvert himself, but he was willing to get out of his comfort zone for the others. In the back of his mind, something dark was brewing and he couldn't understand why. Magic Studies was next and he could use help in his powers, but he wasn't as worried.
Matthias had finished eating and moved his plate to the side of his place. When they mentioned meeting up once a week, he shook his head. "I've got a lot of athletic classes, I don't think I could do each week. Once a month for sure though," he mentioned. He hoped he didn't offend anyone, but he wanted to use his spare time for as much study and practical lessons as possible.

Adventures, as one would say. While he would enjoy something like karaoke, the others seemed more like game or drinking types, possibly movies, but not as much singing. He liked the idea of meeting up once a week, since he would have a chance to mingle with those like Kimberly who only shared one class with him. He was never one for a social life, so he thought it might be good to change things up.

Waylon was relieved that Esmeralda wasn't conflicted, rather distracted. He finished his meal and looked around. Students were still coming in, looking for places to sit. He looked at his watch and realised there was only half an hour remaining at this point in time.
"Do we want to move out to let others sit down?" he asked.
He wanted to be as considerate as possible because he knew some students wouldn't be around to sit for a chat with friends but rather just to eat their meals in peace and silence. He didn't want to rush the others, but felt compelled to leave and make his way towards the Arena before the rush hit.

Cherry nodded to Waylon's comment and her belongings were still in her bag. She waited for the others to decide whether they would move or stay, having no real concern either way. She sat in silence as the others spoke of what to do or not to do. She figured they would eventually want to move out of the cafeteria, but with so much time left they were in no real rush. She knew the cafeteria would always get packed really quickly, but there was outside cafeteria seating that no students had taken advantage of yet.

Autumn flicked her hair from her face, the curls framing the slender bones of her cheeks. The tattoo on her right collarbone, the peacock feather in brilliant colour, visible for all to see. She shrugged at Waylon's statement, finished with her food she didn't care if they left.
"What would we do in the meantime?" she asked.
She didn't particularly want to sit or stand outside the Arena for the remaining time of Dinner, but no one had stated otherwise. There were the gardens outside the Art Gallery that they could see, but nothing was that interesting this late at night.

"That sounds like a good plan. Maybe we could just take our time walking around the campus while we make our way to the Arena? I can't really think about anything else. Or we could just wait there and chat for a bit," he said.
He cracked his shoulders loudly, content with the sudden release from pain. He was so stiff after all of his classes that he was considering skipping dinner from the cafeteria or food stalls and going to the Gymnasium during that time instead, bringing something with him to keep him content until he could make something at the Student Lounge.

Axel was happy that a decision was made and knew that it would be a good end to the day no matter what they did. He might try out the karaoke on his own, just to see how it was, after a game of two of pool with the others. He wasn't much for drinking and games, more music and trivia, but he wasn't fussed either way. He finished his food and moved it to the center of the table. With Magic Studies next, and him having control of his powers due to his ability to understand the complexities of an ability, and thus copy it, he would be able to help others know their skills to the truest potential. He might be able to help someone like Jace, someone fearful of their truest potential, come to an understanding with it.

Esmeralda smiled and put her phone back in her pocket as she finished eating. "We can head to the arena and talk" *she said curious about how Magic Studies will go. She got up and threw away her trash and made her way back to the group.
Jace nodded. "Once a week sounds great" he said as he finished his pizza and leaned back sipping on his soda. He was trying not to think about Magic Studies and just focus on the group.

Kimberly was surprised that it was only Matthias who wasn't interested in meeting up once a week. His career choice was different from the others, his interest in Police and athletics while she wanted a career in writing and the boys (Jace, Kolya, and Brycin) liked Forensic Science. Hunter and Axel seemed content with meeting up weekly and doing so gave everyone a chance to study. No one would be forced to meet up if things weren't going well and it could be used as a group study before assessments came up. She smiled brightly and finished her Dr Pepper.
Kolya could feel Jace's nervousness about the next class, and he himself was concerned too, but they could help one another for sure. Dark souls seemed to bounce off one another and compliment the other person well. Confidence was key, and even though he lacked it in himsef, he could give confidence to others. It was the only thing he could do for others that didn't scare them completely. Aeron seemed to blend in with him and Jace, a dark soul just the same, but he held more confidence in himself. Kolya was a little jealous, but anxiety and depression always got in the way.
Matthias felt bad he was the only one not to want to be part of the group activities, but he was okay with that. He knew walking into his courses that his classes were far more important than socialising. No one was giving him grief, which was good to see, but he needed to find a good place to study. The Student Lounge would no doubt get filled, as would the Library and Computer Labs. He struggled to study in his room, having too many distractions like his video games, so he might have to go to the Ice Rink and sit in the cafe there and study.

He was less worried about Magic Studies as he mastered his ability on his own using his artistic skill. He would probably spend his time working on his art, drawing what he saw or making tattoo designs. He had little worry, but would be there for his friends if they needed his help with something.

Waylon got up and followed after Esmie, comfortable in their idea of getting to the Arena early. There would be a huge line if they didn't make their way in and he liked being early to events. Being on time was something he hated, causing him anxiety. He was pleased to see the sun setting as they made their way over, with the hints of orange and pink giving a warm ambiance to the end of an already good day.
"Beautiful sunset, don't you think?" he asked with a grin.

Cherry got up and made her way after the others in silence. She did have some concerns for the Magic Studies class, more so in communication rather than her abilities, even though her abilities needed work. On campus over the course of her classes, she found only a handful of students who understood ASL and most of her teachers were unable to talk to her, relying on her technology. She hated that, but she had no way to speak mentally. Her psychic abilities didn't stretch that far. She did her best to shake the growing anxiety away, knowing someone would be able to tell, but she didn't want to pretend everything was fine when she clearly wasn't.

Autumn jumped up from her chair and took the lead next to Esmeralda, her confidence gleaming. She had a flair just like Esmeralda did, both exuding confidence like a perfume they wore. Maybe it was because both were Latina, or maybe it was their similar personalities. She had absolutely no qualms about the next class, or any of her classes, and knew she'd be put in the group of students likely to tutor those who weren't in dire need of assistance.

Alistair took the backing position in the group, ensuring all rubbish was off the table and following behind. He was always worried to show his powers, reliving the moment from Judo, and he didn't want to hurt others. If Jace hadn't been around to use his abilities to prevent an explosion, students could have been hurt or killed. It was an alarming notion for him, but he did his best to try and make the most of training in some way. His emotional state had something to do with control, so he knew someone with empathy would be a good asset.

"If we want to get good seats we'll want to go now," Axel said. He was curious to see the abilities of his friends across all his classes, since that wasn't always something brought up in casual conversation. He couldn't remember who said what, all he wanted to do was sing again with Esmeralda. He was lost in that moment and just wanted to relive it over and over and over again.

Kimberly had woken up before the morning bell and made her way to the cafeteria to get some breakfast from Starbucks. With a coffee and muffin in hand, she sat at a table and waited to see if she could find anyone else make their way in to join her. The first person she saw with food was Kolya. His eyebags were noticeable from across the room. He sat down with a cup of cold, black coffee and stirred in silence. She placed a gentle hand next to his own, her fingers just a fraction away from his. "Is everything alright?" she asked.
Kolya barely got any sleep, he was tired and miserable and his mind kept replaying the events of everything that happened the night before at the karaoke bar. He just wanted to crawl into bed and not leave his room. He knew that if he skipped classes, he'd lose student points, and he didn't have any extra so he had to be there at least. He figured he'd stay in the back of the class, away from everyone. Kimberly waved him over and he sat with her, almost out of instinct. She placed a hand near his, skin almost touching, but he flinched away. His coffee almost spilled over the table. He blinked hard, keeping the tears at bay. "Bad nightmares," he lied. He didn't want to speak the truth out loud. Thinking about it already hurt too much.
Jace did not want to leave his room this morning. Remembering what happened last night he was afraid to face his friends especially Kolya. He knew he couldnt miss classes and he had a date with Leora later that he still couldnt believe he had. She was so full of light and he was far from it so he was surprised when she showed interest in him. He had his hood up over his head hoping to hide from his friends as he walked in and went to grab a breakfast sandwich and a green tea latte from starbucks.

Sorry I forgot to post, been busy with picking up the editorial role of the magazine I got published work in. I submitted a horror piece last issue and I've got more for this upcoming one.

Kimberly watched Kolya with a furrowed brow, hoping that her friend was okay but she didn't want to press him any further. She had to focus on her work for the rest of the day, her brain turning to assessment that would be due soon. Writing majors always had more work due earlier, as much of the workload was portfolios.
Kolya looked up and saw Jace walk in and go to the Starbucks line. His arms stung from the stitched up injuries, despite his skin having healed it was more of a psychological pain than a physical one. He looked away before he saw anything more that would make him ache. He didn't know how he was going to manage Forensic Science today, let alone Criminology, but he'd have to make due. He just hoped Jace wasn't angry with him after everything.
Leora walked into the cafeteria to get her breakfast after her morning jog. She walked to the Starbucks to get herself a Matcha Frappucino without cream and banana bread and saw Jace leave the line. She waved at him and stretched in the corner as she waited for her things. She fished through her bag to make sure she had a t-shirt to go over her sports top and leggings from her run. Once she cooled down, she'd need the warmth.
