Redback was trying to rest, but all the constant talking was making it slightly difficult as she faded in and out of consciousness. She might not need to pass out with a concussion, but she was just beaten by Superman Lite, and was in no real mood to follow medical rules. The sounds of them talking wer distorted and muffled, even with her sharp senses. Redback didn't pay much attention to what they were saying, the mission was over, right? The Titans won/lost, so it was time for recooping, and morning the green arrow woman.

The explosion and sirens woke her very sucessfully, much to her concussion's credit. Redback nearly reached the ceiling as she jumped at the sounds. UGH. What the Hell?! She grumbled as she slid off the bed, hitting the floor when she remembered that her leg hurt like a b***h. Damn it. Redback stood look took at the others in the med bay with confusion. If this was a joke... it was in poor taste.

The voice on the speakers made it clear that this wasn't some sick joke, but ann attack continued by this 'Slade' person. The sounds of dozens of men reached her ears in a painful thunderous echo, making her hold her ears. They needed to escape this obvious trap.

The men were at the doors, giving ehr just enough time to look at the otehrs before deciding to jump to the ceiling to vacate through the vents. ********. This. She wasn't about to be captured or killed like the green chick had been. She had gone through HELL and the obsession of a spider lunatic. Whoever this Slade was, he was making her a deadly enemy. Redback replaced the grate and started to crawl and slide away through a maze of vents. Maybe she could call Batman to come kick this Slade's a**. If anyone could, it would be that creepy guy.

As Redback moved through the vents, she caught glimpses of others being taken down, fighting, and groups of soldiers in the corridors. tHis was far deeper than any fall out from a mission. Smeone was hired to take the group out, and as much as she would looveee to run away to get someone else to make this thier problem... she had to do something... But what? Redback didn't have the training to take down such highly trained soldiers.

Nightwing took control of the situation that he had been placed in, swapping from a defensive stance to an offensive one. As he dived into the rest of the thugs, the first two were greeted with a tornado kick to their skulls sending them into the wall with shattered visors. Soon after landing on his feet, spontaneously jerking his body to face the last man standing. He squinted at him before barreling in for another attack, not giving him a chance to even react to what was coming his way. Smashing one of the escrima sticks into the side of his ribs, then grabbing him by his vest to toss him over his shoulder. Once the goon was laying on his back, Richard quickly ended it. Using his palm to smash to smash into the helmet, incapacitating him.

Unconcious bodies covered the floor around him as he rose from his takedown, sluggish panting escaped him as he laid his eyes upon the thugs. How the hell did they get in here? What went wrong with the Titans security? Before any more questions came to mind, a throwing knife flew above his shoulder. They either had bad aim, or did it on purpose to catch his attention. Most likely option B. A voice from his past called out to him, and not one his was too fond with. ”Long time no see kid.” Slade’s voice only pissed him off more, he was one of the few people that ever got under Richard's skin. He knew what buttons to push, and when to push them. Slade had spoken again in a condescending tone. ”Miss me?” He knew better than to dive in for an attack, but his emotions got the better of him. He wanted to show Slade how much pain he had coming to him when you had messed with a Titan. Sliding his escrima sticks together as he went in for his attack, only using raw power instead of thinking this through. His weapons led the charge, swinging the both of them to strike down towards his head. Instantly going in to connect a crescent kick.

Deathstroke parried Nightwing's blow with a swipe of his bo-staff; the distinct clanging sound of metal on metal echoing throughout the hall as the weapons clashed together. Slade moved in for a counter-strike, but Nightwing managed to intercept the Terminator's strike with his own crescent kick forcing Slade back a few steps. The kick hit Deathstroke hard enough to shake him, but his enhanced strength combined with the added protection of his promethium armor protected him against any serious damage. It was made clear to Slade that Grayson was unfocused, blinded by his emotions, probably as a result of what had happened earlier that day. This was a fatal error, one that would cost Nightwing the fight.

Deathstroke bounded forward, a barrage of lightning fasts bo-staff strikes thrown toward all of d**k's vital areas. The Terminator managed to land several strikes to Nightwing's ribs and the sides of his head, forcing the young Vigilante back.
You allow the death of an ally, an ally you barely, to shake you like this? People die Grayson - allies die. Grow up. Slade scolded as he clashed his staff with d**k's escrima sticks. The Assassin stared Nightwing dead in the eye, a disgusted scowl making its way across Deathstroke's lips as he leaned in to the attack. He knew d**k was better than this, Hell he had put up a better fight back when he was Robin. You disappoint me, Slade spat spitefully, thrusting his arms forward to shove d**k back before taking aim with his power-staff and blasting him with a powerful yellow beam of energy square in his chest. The blast wasn't fatal, but it tossed him across the room into a wall rendering him unconscious. Slade made his way to the mangled body of Nightwing, staring down at his longtime foe for a long moment before sending a heavy kick to the downed hero's rib-cage. You disgust me.

The Ghosts had managed to track Redback to the grate, aiming their rifles up into the vents and firing. The Terminator made his way to the vent and tossed a grenade inside. The grenade activated, releasing a powerful toxin into the ventilation system. The toxin wasn't fatal, but it would next to immediately render all who inhaled it unconscious. Within seconds, Redback fell from the grates into a heap at the feet of the Ghosts, leaving her defenseless as they scooped her up and carried her out.

Donna had managed to emerge victorious over the two Ghosts that had attacked her earlier, the second of the pair crumpling into an unconscious heap at her feet. While she was distracted, Slade tossed a sticky taser-grenade to her back. The grenade send 500,000 volts of electricity pumping through the Amazon's body, forcing her to submit and secede to capture at the hands of the invaders.

After the Tower had been cleared of H.I.V.E personnel and the prisoners, Deathstroke flipped a switch setting the dozens of charges placed throughout Titans tower during the battle to detonate. The Tower went up in a ball of fire, burning to the ground along with everything (and every one) left inside. Slade made his way to the pile of rubble, lifting a piece of black and yellow cloth from the ashes... a piece of Robin's cape. Guess you weren't so tough after all... Deathstroke muttered to himself with a chuckle, opening his palm and allowing the wind to carry the piece of cloth away over the ocean. The Terminator brought his right middle and index fingers to the side of his helmet, opening a transmission with his employer.

This is Deathstroke, the Titans have been apprehended and their Tower's been destroyed. I stand ready to execute them now.

Slade went silent for a long while as he listened to the response on the other end. What he heard was unexpected, but not surprising. He opened his mouth to oppose the decision, before reconsidering and reweighing the options. If that's really what Mr. Darhk wanted, who was he to challenge him? He was just a hired gun, after all.

Understood sir, however I expect to be paid upon arrival. This change in our contract isn't something I agreed to.

As he darted down the hall, the young Robin vaulted over the many ghosts invading their home. Gun fire lit the dark halls tearing at his cape. Not to be mistaken for him. He was too elusive to ever fall victim to folly attacks such as these. The only real threat in this tower was Deathstroke himself. Damian narrowed his eyes as he waited, watching as several of the ghosts ran through the halls looking for Titans. It was clear their instructions were not to kill but apprehend. Presumably for whoever hired Slade Wilson in the first place. After checking to see if the coast was clear, he crept out from hiding utilizing his strength in stealth. The darkness played a key role in such as he heard the fighting going on between Nightwing and Slade. He wanted to interject but doing so would be futile in the long run. At least one Titan had to be able to fix this mess. Who better than him? Besides, he'd already forewarned Grayson about going into this fight beforehand. Emotions held no place in the battlefield. They clouded your judgement and increased only error and recklessness.

Once Nightwing was done away with, the other Titans were dealt with. Damian clenched his jaw at the team's lack of resilience. Had they all really been this weak? He wanted to scoff but that would risk drawing attention to himself so he didn't. Especially since just then Deathstroke had set off several bombs to detonate while he departed with the team. Damian took this moment and ran into the living room area throwing several explosive discs at the window. They had a three second interval before they'd detonate. With haste to cover his tracks, he'd unsheathe a batarang, tearing a peace of his cape and tossing it away to be found later. Soon after the bomb's detonated overshadowing the sound of his escape.

The tail end of the fiery embers shoved him forward as he barely maintained gliding. Robin glided until he hovered above the water, then proceeding to place his arms and feet together diving down, so that he wouldn't be spotted. He was a more than proficient swimmer and could hold his breath for as long as a Navy seal, if not longer. When far enough in the body of water he came up for a breather turning and seeing the Tower engulfed in flames. Black smoke signaled distress and the media would no doubt be wanting to get a story soon. Which is why he refocused on swimming back to shore. On shore now, he fell into the grass where he could see many buildings ahead. He was in a park now, struggling to get up. But used what had transpired as purpose to continue. He looked down at his wrist gauntlet and opened a comm between himself and them.

"I wouldn't be contacting you if this wasn't serious. The Titans have been abducted and I need help. So, will you help me, Drake?"

It looked to be yet another sleepless night ahead for Gotham's Red Robin. Same old usual routine, take care of the petty criminals, keep an eye out for the major league ones -- Oh, and spend most of the night awake and hunched over a monitor. Not that Tim didn't enjoy this life style, it was something he so longed for, but a good night's sleep would probably go a long way for him. As he felt the power of the Redbird push against the roads of Gotham seamlessly, a message signaled from his comm - none other than Damian, the manikin himself.

"I wouldn't be contacting you if this wasn't serious. The Titans have been abducted and I need help. So, will you help me, Drake?" For all his attempt to disguise it in the presence of Tim, Damian sounded exhausted and beaten - which was incredibly unlike him. He never really offered Damian help, the last few times that he had his hand was slapped away... literally. "Sure. Get somewhere safe, let me know and I'll meet you there." He said as he shifted his weight and turned the Redbird. It never truly irked him until he would hear Damian say his name. 'Tim Drake'. At times it would feel like a snide remark that he didn't belong - that he wasn't 'Tim Wayne'. He wouldn't press on it though, his little brother needed his help and he couldn't reject it.

Red Robin hadn't given a specific location to meet Robin at within San Francisco. Had the Titan's Tower's security been breached, and Damian was the only escapee? Who knows if their communications had been breached - which is why he left it to Damian to decide their meeting place. As they met the place of Damian's choice, he lay eyes on his injured and bruised brother. His brows pushed down on his mask as he looked at him. It was a truly sorry sight, and to see Damian humbled in this manner was of no comfort at all. It was brutal.

Before Drake could even begin to console Damian, an incredibly rare moment of weakness took over - but incredibly warranted. "Where is d**k? They got him too?" He spoke through his teeth as both concern and fear mingled in his voice. Who was their kidnapper? How was it that they managed to defeat a team under the direction of both Damian Wayne and d**k Grayson? He could make a guess, but it wouldn't add up - not in the orderly head of Tim Drake. He held out a hand to offer the young Robin any sort of support, his hand shaking reluctantly - more or less because he knew that there was a large probability this his support was going to be declined in a typical Damian Wayne nagging-esque manner.

The two met at one of his Grandfather's abandoned safe houses. Damian had been tending to his wounds himself when Red Robin arrived. His face of concern causing scrutiny to appear on Damian's face as well as a glare. Which could be thought of as his defaulted expression. "Try not to look so worried. If it's any consolation, I told him he should refrain from going after Slade." Damian said casually, his arm slightly raised with a "I-told-him-so" body language. He winced in pain then after moving so care-free. One could mistake the misfortune for karma but in reality, his muscles were still fatigued from the long swim. "Before we continue, let it be clear no one is to know about this place. Understood? I use it from time to time and I don't need Father bugging it." Who was he kidding knowing Batman the place probably had fifty hidden cameras already.

"I should start from the beginning. Ahem. Earlier today, Artemis was murdered. Slade Wilson killed her. Very shortly after he and a raid of H.I.V.E.'s foot soldiers invaded the tower with orders to apprehend. I know this because of their attack strategy. They were using non-lethal weapons and thanks to Slade, they also sported Promethium armor. Afterwards he did this." Damian picked the remote up from the table and pressed down on the button forward. A small TV, nothing too fancy, turned on behind Tim showing the ongoing news reports of Titan's tower burning. Or what was left of it anyway. His mouth drew into a snarl and out of agitation immediately flicked it off again. "As you can see, today hasn't been our best. In fact, it just shows we need to be more prepared. This could've been avoided if.." Damian fought the urge to lash out and call all of them idiots. He cursed himself for feeling the emotions he did.

"Moving on. I have been keeping tabs on potential recruits thanks to Father's keen eye for prospects. And I think I have just the persons who would be perfect in assisting us in these tough times. The first being Jaime Reyes." Damian walked over to a closet in the rusted house or so it appeared then flicked a switch. A lit room in all white from the floor tiles to the walls. It looked more like a fixed up interrogation room because that's what it originally was. Inside there were spare gauntlets, two capes, two domino's and several batarang lined against the wall. The computer he had was by no means state of the art but it got the job done. It connected him to the servers he needed without having to use their secure sever and risking exposure to Batman, whom was under no circumstance to be involved in any of this.

With a few strokes and clicks of the mouse and keyboard, he moved over allowing Drake to look over the file for himself. The teen would be a more than formidable addition to helping them. The file had all of his information and footage of him fighting. "Let's move out."

As expected, Damian was soldiering through it. Typical, but respectable - there was a strength in him that even some of the best of heroes lacked. He wouldn't waste time worrying over Nightwing any further, it was priority to get him back. "It will not leave our company." Tim assured him. A faint grin emerged on Tim's face, as there was more than likely a mutual understanding that Bruce was already more than aware that this place existed.

As Damian turned on the television, he turned and glanced at the flaming wreckage. Tim's eyes widened in shock as he listened to the list of events that had led up to the destruction before him. His attention was dragged away from the television as it was turned off. He watched as Damian snarled. It was time for an even mind to interject. "You and I are blessed with a conscious mind, capable of anything. We can solve all the problems of the world with that mind -- don't let anger get the best of you. Your ability to keep it at bay is why you're here right now and not attempting a suicide mission like d**k." He knew that Damian most likely already knew this, but he wasn't going to risk any irrationality - it makes for poor strategy.

He followed as Damian opened up a rather crudely tiled room. His very own outpost, Tim couldn't help stare around to see what he had amassed within. Damian ushered over Tim. He scrolled through files and folders of data of this 'Jaime Reyes'. His face grew intrigued as he read through all the information that was collected on the individual. Tim's mind immediately set to plan to utilise his skills and for the best way to rescue the others. A plan of attack, the kid detective knew that first they must deduce their enemy - though that train of thought was interrupted as Damian wanted to move out.

Emerald green eyes blinked open slowly, the darkness fading and replaced with the lights of a green containment field holding not only Wally but his fellow Titans as well. Wally looked up to his left and then back up to his right, then down at his legs as he assessed the bindings that kept them floating in place. Their limbs were trapped unable to be moved and used, he didn't even want to try and use his powers in fear of finding out what would happen. Could vibrating out of these restraints work? Surely their captor would have planned for such an occasion. How else do you hold people with incredible abilities. "Where..where are we?" Wally called out to the others, hoping they had deduced their location. His voice was hoarse and weak and with a second look given down at his legs, he didn't want to see more. His costume stained with his own bloody, bandages carefully wrapped around the wounds. They'd heal soon enough he'd hope but that didn't make the many any less excruciating.

The pair strode outside, both their motorcycles were already there and parked. Damian already knew this however having called for them in the first place. "I took the liberty of hacking into your cycle and bringing it here while we were inside going over the file. You're welcome." said Robin, ushering forward to sit on his bike. "According to Batman's tracker, Reyes is already here in San Francisco. Fortunate for us. Now all we need to do is find him, recruit him. Then retrieve the Titans." he glared behind his mask looking forward. Drake probably wouldn't be listening to his orders like this had the situation itself not been so dire. Clutching the bar and revving up his motorbike, he was to take lead seeing as these were his affairs and Drake was only a temporary in assisting. Doing a wheelie for a greater boost then bringing it down back on it's head wheel diving forward through the streets of San Fran.

Wally and the other Titans began to stir awake and unbeknownst to them, would all soon be in the company of the man behind all of their troubles. After all, he was the reason Slade went after them in the first place, killed Artemis and just recently, Robin. Boo-hoo. Thought Darhk sarcastically as he watched the lot of them from behind a one-way window. They couldn't see him, but he could see them. The best part about them coming to? Was that he finally got to make his grand entrance to the bunch. He loved making entrances, never passing up the opportunity to do so. A door swung open commanding all of their attentions in the warehouse filled with nothing but space and more space, oh, and several restrained 'heroes'. Can't forget that. As Damien's shoes tapped away at the steps during his descent. He was careful watching each step as one should be then marched right up to meet the Titans of San Francisco. A smile showed on his face just absolutely ecstatic to meet each and everyone of them. "Well, I must say this is quite the turnout, isn't it? Kid Flash. Ah I must say the speed is impressive. I myself often wonder what I'd do with such an ability at my behest. Being powered by the speed-force and all. Oh, that's right, you probably didn't think I knew that huh? Awww.. come on, I'm not ignorant. Evil admittedly. But not ignorant." Damien began allowing them all to catch up to what he had to say. This was going to be fun for all of them...or maybe just him. "Oh, I'm sorry you must be wondering who I am. And why you are all here. Stay with me. I promise we'll get that to in a second. For now, let's get familiar with each other, shall we?" Nothing but silence as expected. He turned on a heel walking up to the first Titan face to face.

"Judging by the bright red hair, youuuu must be, Wally West. Yeah. We just met but humor me. Moving on." Damien moved in front of another Titan this time, one who looked like they'd seen better days for sure. "And you, sporting the leotard like only you can must be, d**k Grayson. Really good to meet you. Heard you used to work with Batman. Always wanted to meet him. Heard he's a real swell guy outside of you know his secret hobby for little lost boys. Eh?" he said playfully nudging the hero in his bruised abdomen. "And you, my, my, you Amazons are truly a sight for sore eyes. You must be Donna Troy. Forgive me as I would normally kiss your hand but seeing as you're a little tied up at the moment, I don't think it'd be possible." Darhk let out a chuckle then at his own jest. Boy, did he crack himself up.

Next, and lastly up was the green teen who showed great defiance in his eyes. You could tell he just wanted to morph into a Gorilla of some kind and bash Damien's brains in. It please Damien seeing Beast Boy like this. All enraged yet fearing for the unknown of their fates. Cutting the silence at last between them, Damien continued. "And you, someone I thought I'd get along with--the shape-shifting trickster himself; Garfield Logan. Bam. Nailed it. Didja' like that? Oh right. No wonder it feels like I've been speaking to a dead audience. You guys probably don't want to be rude. I appreciate that, I do. I've lived a lot of lives and in those lives, I've taken up many a names but you all can call me, Damien. Damien Darhk. The man behind H.I.V.E. Enough about me though. I tend to go off on a tangent sometimes. Guilty. Lets hear about you all. Starting with the ring leader himself, Diiiiiic--on second thought if you don't mind, I'd really prefer to call you Richard. You know it's just a little weird and all. Your name. If you get what I mean. I'm sure you do. Sorry. Tangent. Well go on. I'm all ears." Darhk ended. As he stepped back with a smile on his face waiting for a response.

Just kill them already, spoke the voice of Slade Wilson as he made his way toward Darhk and his pubescent guests. The Assassin held his helmet tucked under his right arm, leaving his scarred and eye patched face exposed for the Titans to see for the first time. His chalk white bangs falling messily to the side of his forehead. If you want them to stay down I advise that you take care of it now. As I'm sure you know, I've fought these kids on several occasions... let's just say that they're resilient.

Deathstroke placed his helmet back on his head, the red lense lighting up ominously as the piece of armor clicked into place. Slade figured Mr. Darhk would probably not head his warning, Slade knew these charismatic types. They liked to talk. They liked to taunt, give their spiel, monologue, explain their "evil plan", etc. It always ended the same way, the victim somehow escapes by some inexplicable act of God - more likely, however, just moronic luck.

The only reason Deathstroke was even still here after having received his payment was because Damien insisted, also the H.I.V.E. leader paid generously and Slade would prefer to keep Darhk as his client; if playing loyal for a little bit was a way to ensure that, well Deathstroke has had to endure much worse.

Deathstroke crossed his arms and stared at the immobilized Titans; deep inside he knew they had some kind of trick up their sleeve, it was only a matter of time. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but not actually finding the body of Robin was something he found... unsettling. Had he been given the time Slade would have began a search for it, he was always wary about not having the concrete evidence of a corpse to solidify his kill. Alas, however, what Damien saw was enough to appease him... and Slade knew that was going to come back to bite them in the a**, he just knew it.

After Donna came to she could hear Wally call out. Grunting as she struggled at the restraints. There was no way of breaking loose. Blowing a stray hair form her face she looked around the containment trying to figure a way out. There was no hope.

As the strange man shoes tapped into the room. Scrunching her nose in disgust as he spoke to her. "Pathetic." Donna snapped out at his ridiculous 'joke'. Listening to him as he tried to show off for knowing their identities. She counted the team they had here. What about the others? Donna closed her eyes a moment hoping that they weren't dead. Snapping her eyes open as Slade spoke. Her jaw clenched, as they addressed d**k. She hoped he wasn't too emotional or they'd never be able to make it out of here.

Slade was right to assume Damien hadn't heard his comment. Because he didn't. He was far too busy having fun at the heroes' expense. Even more with the reactions he received. He watched the Amazon's eyes wander off as if she was searching. Slightly peeving him before he realized, she'd probably been wondering where the others were that he neglected to mention. "I see. You have that twinkle your eye. You must be wondering where your friends are. Don't worry. I don't want to ruffle any feathers." He rose his arm and flung it out for theatrics mostly. Appearing beside them would be the remaining members who were also restrained--Firestorm, Red Arrow, and Redback. "See? Now if you all would so kind as to return your attention to moi. I have a presentation I put together to explain in detail as to how and why all of these unfortunate events came to be. Same for how this meeting between us came to be. Where should we start? Oh. That's right your team destroyed several of my facilities costing me millions." Damien paused laughing. "I'm sorry. As I was saying millions." his tone darkened. "You all prance around in your little fancy costumes and you play hero. That's all fine. Maybe help an old lady across a street. Save a cat from a tree. But when you stuck your nose in my business -- you made a terrible mistake. You see, because I'm a man who takes his business to heart. It's my lively hood. It's how I provide for my family. And you by destroying my facilities took food out of my family's mouths. Now if I didn't know any better... That sounds a lot like something a villain a do. I should know. Bad guy, remember?" said Damien pointing to himself. "But a hero? Don't you guys work off a code or something? Either way after you all carelessly blew up my homes. I called in Mr. Wilson here to deal with you. To teach you a lesson. Then to kill you of course. " Damien finished again.

"So I guess you could say the death of your poor friend, Artemis was collateral. Or part of it anyway. And brutal especially watching it in HD. Remember though, you guys did cost me millions of dollars. So here's how this is going to work. I'm going to give your leader the floor to speak once again. Should what he has to say move me, I'll maybe think about making your deaths quick. And if he doesn't, I'll be forced to torture you slowly and painfully while your comrades watch. Because those restraints are not only made of Promethium but they're also powered by my own brand of magic. Now without further ado, Richard. You may now have the floor."
