Combat Type: (close-range - slashing and piercing, medium-range - ballistic
Weapon(s): Oinari - Sword - The transformation to blade mode is quick and simple, trading the range of the rifle for the melee form of the sword. The sword itself is ideal for powerful slashing maneuvers, but is still able to hold its own in proper sword play focusing on single or small groups of targets.

DMR - It is slightly heavier than it looks due to the weight of the blade, but with the proper skill this slight drawback is hardly noticeable. Because the weapon's blades are stored in the front of the gun, an automatic feature has been integrated to slide the lower blade forward and easily access the ammo for when the need to change magazines arises. Additionally, the two upper blades split apart to allow the user to grasp the upper half of the weapon without risk of injury. It has a semi-auto or full-auto setting depending on the situation presented.

Scythe - Complimenting the sword mode is the scythe mode. The scythe completes the weapon by giving it the speed and agility lost within sword mode and allows the wielder to gain access to an increased range compared to it's other form, yet add in the ability to deal with crowd control more easily.

Semblance:
Intangibility - Allows the user to make their body or parts of the body intangible essentially allowing him to phase through matter. It can last consecutively for up to thirty seconds five quick successive uses when going through objects about the thickness of a human being before having to wait for a grace period to use it again. It also allows him to "transfer" this ability to other people by touching them, but requires more concentration. The thicker the object or more people he uses it on the less often he can use it, and the more energy it takes out of him. If his semblance is overused it cause noticeable heavy fatigue. A bigger issue is if he's not careful Sigmund can get stuck in an object and essentially injure himself severely.

Personality:
❖ Sigmund is a calm and collected individual. He's not very talkative around strangers, but around friends or family enjoys keeping conversation with those close to him. The young man is generally kind to anyone he meets, although if treated wrong or seeing something immoral. This has cause some heated confrontations regarding his sister plenty of times. The boy can easily lose his temper due to see his sister getting picked on because of her heritage, which has extend to seeing people getting picked on in general. He tends to be more realistic compared to an optimistic person, but that is hopeful when it comes to both his and other people's goals or dreams among other things. When one earns Sigmund's respect and trust he is very loyal and protective of his friends and allies. When he set his mind to things, he also tends to be dedicated on doing the best he possibly can. Sigmund also has a shy side to him, although this doesn't present itself all the time unless put in situations that cause this. His timid side actually tends to be hidden by his more calm nature, but this is easily noticeable if one knows him well enough. There are certain situations, such as someone claiming they have a crush on him or getting unneeded praise, that would cause him to get a more external reaction. This can be seen shown by little actions such as blushing, or some bodily tics. One of the more rare sights to see is his soft spot for younger sister.

In battle, he likes to try to expose one's weakness and take advantage of it wanting the battle to end quickly and efficiently. Secretly, Sigmund does enjoy an occasional brute force confrontations to get his adrenaline pumping. The boy loves testing his skills and getting stronger by having spars considering there's no drawbacks to losing such as loss of life. Not one to give up in a fight easily, he can be stubborn to the point that he doesn't care if he goes past his limits to protect what's important, or win a battle.

History:
❖ Born within the city of Vale, Sigmund was an only child that lead a good life like anyone that had great parents. One not to worry about life or the troubles that adults dealt with, the boy never had an interest in being a hunter or protecting people. There was no reason considering his family didn't meddle in the affairs that involved hunters or huntresses as far as he knew. The only things that mattered was his father's shop, school, and his hobbies/interest. If anything he aspired to one day either help run his dad's business or learn to cook amazing food like his mother. The role of protector didn't come until he met a fox Faunus girl that was a couple of years younger than him when he was the age of nine. Something set off in the boy seeing someone getting picked on and bullied by other kids in the streets. That confrontation ended up with him walking into his house with bruises and a bloody lip along with a young girl with red puffy eyes from crying behind him. His parents found out that he handled the girl's tormentors, and brought her home because she had no family. In turn the girl, whom was named Amber, became a part of the family after that day.

His sister stated he was like a hunter because he protected her from 'meanies'. This sparked a new interest in him wanting to help those that couldn't help themselves, but more so to want to fight to help rid the world of prejudice against Faunus. The new ideal lead to him attending Signal Academy when he was of age. Sigmund trained and learned till he couldn't physical handle it because of physical or mental exhaustion resulting in long naps from time to time. Over the years he grew more mature about his training, and would rest properly less he be reprimanded by his teachers or family. Through Signal, he learned how to fight, use his Aura, unlock his semblance, and all the other general things that students learn throughout the years at the academy. He's attending his second year of Beacon wanting to be close to home considering his family lives in the City of Vale as well as wanting to learn from where some of the best hunters and huntresses attended as well.

Casual: Also includes different kinds of light jackets with pants. For the most part he wears a scarf unless it's really hot.

Dust Skill:Quinn rarely uses dust, simply because she doesn't not carry it often or actively keep stock. If she however finds dust crystals on her travels, she will use them to her advantage whether it harms her or not.
Semblance: Reflection: Quinn's semblance allows her to absorb some attacks and dispel them as either a reflected copy or as a simple burst of energy. The latter form usually just causes the space around her to blow outwards, depending on how strong the attack was that she absorbed. If she decides to reflect a copy, she has trouble accurately targeting without her ring blade. She can channel her semblance into her ringblade so that she might use the circular void in the centre as a 'shield' to absorb minor attacks such as bullet fire. She uses this technique to charge forwards and get close to her enemy, since she has no reliable long range attack besides throwing her ring blade and risk not getting it back. If she deflects whilst using her ring blade, she can use the weapon as a sight in order to direct it back at her enemy, like a mirror.

Her semblance directly interacts with her aura, the stronger the attack she uses her semblance with, the more aura she risks sacrificing, endangering herself. It's like she'll withstand less damage than if she was hit by the attack outright, but she has the chance to retaliate and catch her opponent off guard and come out (just about) on top. It's a gamble she has to take.

Personality:
❖ Quinn is extremely headstrong, with a task set at the back of her mind, always forcing the way that she lives and acts. Although she is kind when she has to be, and has no reason to be inherintly mean to anyone who doesn't deserve it, she often doesn't have time for pleasantries. With the few people she does know well, she has been known to be kind and understanding, caring for them a great deal, but until someone really gets to know her, she doesn't usually get along well with them.

History:
❖ Quinn grew up as a prodigy, excelling at a young age after the horrific events of the Fall of Beacon. Airurando was a town south of Mistral City, and it came under attack swiftly after the broadcast of what happened at the Vital Tournement. Instead of staying in a safe spot with her parents and many others that couldn't fight, she battled her way through them to get outside with a harvest scythe in the attempt to try and help. When she was obviously outmatched a young boy saved her. Hemlock was his name. The boy's father killed a beowolf that threatened them and told them to get to safety back in the building that Quinn had ran from, but as they were on their way a King Taijitu forced the building to collapse, killing everyone inside. Quinn, overwhelmed with emotion became helpless, and it was down to Hemlock to get them both to safety under his father's orders. Together they were forced to run to the southern bridge where an old entrance to the sewers could be found. As Hemlock pulled Quinn inside he took a final peak outside as he closed the door - witnessing the death of his father. That day, both of them lost their parents at the young age of just 11 and 12.

They waited until they were sure it was going to be clear outside, and eventually found a party attempting to salvage and rescue anyone that might still be alive in Airurando. Quinn and Hemlock were taken to the city, and soon after they got over their own depression and anger they joined Sanctum. Through out her time, Quinn battled twice as hard in order to graduate at the same time as Hemlock so they could both go to Haven. During her break between the two schools Quinn made sure to enter into any competition she could find in order to prove her strength and gain a small reputation for herself, many in Mistral learned who she was for being ahead of her age group in skill. Together, they planned carefully to assure they were teammates, and it succeeded. Eventually it landed them with Nickle, a Faunus from Menagerie, and Lyric, an eccentric from northern Mistral. Together they all excelled, each having their own reasons to push forward. Over time Hemlock and Quinn got over their sorrows and become wonderful people, and they got along great with Lyric and Nickle, becoming Team Harlequin (HLQN). Upon graduation the four remained together, taking on missions to protect Mistral. Hemlock eventually started conversing with the new humanoid Grimm, wanting to understand them. When Lyric found out he was outraged, causing an argument that almost split the team apart. For weeks they didn't speak with Lyric, and after a while longer he returned to his home and his family theatre.

During this time the rest of Team HLQN was contacted by Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon Academy, and they couldn't refuse. It was during this time that Hemlock divulged to the others he had sent Jet, a humanoid Grimm to the Gorlois estate in order to keep check on Lyric, whilst also assuring the Grimm boy a life to live. Hemlock paid Mr Gorlois handsomely, he just didn't expect Jet to become... so good at his theatre job, eventually enraging Lyric. Whilst at Beacon, they learned there was a lot more to the world of Remnant than they knew, but they accepted Ozpin's proposal of helping to assure the safety of the world. Quinn eventually convinced Hemlock to visit Lyric, and coincidentally Jet was leading a role in the next performance at the theatre. It wasn't long later until Quinn and Nickle found out what had happened, and how Lyric had become a murderer. Jet managed to escape into hiding, and Hemlock lead the mission of hunting down their former teammate. Eventually they followed Lyric's trail all the way to a distant town in the west... along with Jet's body. Together they battled Lyric, but ultimately they failed, ending the lives of both Nickle and Hemlock. Quinn used the last of her strength to use her semblance to reflect Lyric's ultimate attack, but it almost destroyed her aura. However, she came out on top, disarming Lyric (literally) and getting him captured by the autorities. She pressed to have him killed, but in the end he was taken to Atlas to be studied in prison, the authorities their hoped they would better understand criminals by evaluating him.

Quinn took a long time out of battle... or anything else for that matter. It took her Aura at least a month to fully recover from the selfless use of her semblance. And after that it took her almost a year to return to actively taking on missions. Push forward two years and Lyric escaped, somehow. Quinn was overwhelmed with anger and filled with a need for revenge, and so finally re-forged her Ring Blade so that it would also become a scythe. She then went to Opzin, asking once more to help him, but he knew what she really wanted. She wanted to find Lyric... who now usually went by the name Xylo. Eventually, Ozpin agreed to help her as long as she helped him in return. And thus became the mutual agreement between the two of them. She rarely took on direct assignments for him, and often now she still takes on missions in Vale to avoid returning to Mistral. She's been hanging onto a tiny piece of information she found months ago that lead her to believe Lyric was in Vacuo or Vale, so she hoped staying here was the right choice...

Now Quinn conducts missions of her own accord, alone.

Outfits:

❖ Leather (red tinted) trousers and long sleeved top, matched with a long red cloak for when she wants to travel more casually.

Personality:
❖He’s a well spoken man,continuously using a stern voice to draw and keep attention during his lessons.He’s often calm with a serious or bored expression on his face,he’s very mature and tends to end up being seen as the older brother archetype.

History:
❖His story begins not in his childhood,but during his years as a hunter in training along with many other students at Haven academy.He excelled as a student grade-wise as well as a fighter,even taking the time to tutor other students if they needed the extra help

It was a short time after graduating that he had his first experience with magic,having encountered a maiden purely by chance and having no clue who or what she was.After his exposure to her magic he became infatuated with studying the wonders of magic for several years,spending long periods of time on his own.Eventually his interest in magic died down and he went back to working with his team,until one tragic event...

He and his team were out on a mission when he was age 27,the same day of the attack on Beacon Academy.They had cornered a rare and dangerous Grimm on a cliff face,the fight was a long g and challenging one,resulting in the death of one member,Shikona,who had sacrificed herself to force the Grimm off the cliff.After months of grieving and hearing about the attack on Beacon the team of three disbanded and went their separate ways,Xanu and Aubrey staying in haven apart from each other.

Forward to age 34 and he’s spent more time researching magic and has learned of a new force of evil...Salem.He had a run in with several of her followers who had seemed to be hunting him down,after dealing with and killing all but one of them he questioned the survivor,learning about her “power” and what she’s capable of doing.

Forward to age 36 and Xanu has developed a drive to put an end to Salem,although the drive is not as powerful as it could be due to Salem’s power being considered to have decreased drastically,choosing instead to teach young students to be able to combat Salem and her forces instead of going directly for her himself.

Finally onwards to the present and he’s finished his first year of teaching and is awaiting the next school year to begin.

Semblance: Misfortune: Qrow's semblance is unlucky, and can cause his friends or family around him to get hurt, as well as himself and his enemies that he fights. For this reason, he often prefers to fight alone.

Personality:
❖ Qrow, at first, appears to be a drunkard without worry or care for anyone other than himself. Grow is the unorganised, uncontrollable and mysterious man. However, when his charade is broken, he is obviously extremely protective of his nieces and only keeps to himself and drink because he has too to keep everybody safe. Grow is always on the side of good, wanting to protect the world and the innocent from the evils of the world, but his methods are unorthodox. He isn't afraid to break the rules or go by his own decisions in order to do what he believes is right. For this reason he often gets into arguments with Glynda Goodwitch and James Ironwood... but it keeps him as a favourite uncle.

History:
❖Grow and his sister, Raven, were born into the Branwen tribe, and for the tribe to continue existing as a force to be reckoned with he and Raven went to Beacon Academy. Not just to become Huntsmen, but so that they could learn a Huntsmen's weakness. Qrow joined Team STRQ with Taiyang, Summer Rose and his sister Raven. Much like the modern Team RWBY, STRQ was given special... advantages by Ozpin. The headmaster would bend rules so that they could co on special missions, he would turn a blind eye, the team would get involved with affairs they shouldn't do.

In the end, Ozpin revealed to them the true evils of the world, and what their purpose as Huntsmen was. At around the same time, Ozpin gifted Qrow and Raven with transformation magic. Shortly afterwards Raven left to return to her tribe, but Qrow remained. This left Yang motherless, and shortly after Ruby was born, but yet again, shortly afterwards Summer died.

Even since the collapse of Team STRQ, Qrow has been working for Ozpin, gathering information all about Salem and her forces of Grimm. Qrow played a Major role following the Fall of Beacon 15 years ago, protecting his nieces and helping Oscar to learn and become the new Ozpin.

Now that the world is in a stalemate again, Qrow has returned to doing just that, working for Ozpin, except now he has his nieces with him.

Think I am ready for you now. To start with just since it is a common question I see you ask because of the RWBY naming rules I'll save you some time in case.
Her color theme is white. Eira is the Welsh word and also a name that means snow, and Winters is fairly obvious.

Weapon(s): Gungnir is a golden and silvered steel dust armament weapon that looks like it wouldn't be far amiss in a heavenly weapons locker. Gungnir takes on 3 combat forms. The golden piece visible between the blade and cross guard in spear form is Gungnir's dust tray and it contains a load out of red,green, yellow, and light blue dust. These allow Gungnir to be used to unleash attacks and strikes supplemented by lightning, fire, ice, earth, and/or air.
  • Blade Form: A short sword form that compresses the moving parts of the weapon into the most compact form. In this version the blade is retracted to be seated into the cross guard area, thus enclosing the dust tray within the blade where it is out of sight, while the haft fully collapses and secures itself as a single hand and half sized sword hilt (the rear most piece in the picture that has the silver steel grip is the piece that does this, the golden pieces are stored withing it.)
  • Spear Form: Since Gungnir comes with a sheath meant to store the weapon in blade form the spear form is considered the weapons deployed form. The blade is extended forward while the haft is fully extended.
  • Arcane Lance/Plasma Lance Form: Either name really works for this combat form. This form is Gungnir's ranged form and the only change that happens when changing to this form is the spear blade splits and retracts, mounting itself against the cross guard to either side of the dust tray. The weapon can still effectively be used as a spear in this form but the space between the two blades now acts like a particle accelerator that fires powerful blasts of energy fueled by the dust in the dust tray. As a ranged form Gungnir's arcane lance form is very powerful and capable of impressive destruction that exceeds an anti material rifle and can be more accurately compared to a low to middle caliber cannon. It however cannot be aimed like such weapons so it's accuracy comes as an unfortunate drawback for the power, which is why it is best used at middle ranges and why it keeps much of it's spear form combative capabilities.

    Eira's semblance is activated and the easiest way to tell if it is active is to look at her head. When Angelfall is active Eira's eyes turn gold and a pair of feather tufts appear on her head over her headband. Additionally while her semblance is active she has a glowing gold emblem on her chest and she tends to shed white feathers, each of which is made of energy and fade fast. These feathers come from her semblance which at times condenses the energy of her aura on her back taking on the appearance of spectral wings when this happens the amount of feathers that show up increases. These wings seem to power the energy needed to unleash powerful barrages of energy shots. The shots are comparable to the kind of plasma released by the most highly condensed amounts of yellow dust, though some think it could be more like what might be achieved if a more molten attack could be made by creating a mixture of fire and earth types of dust. Either way Eira's semblance attacks are not to be taken lightly. While unleashing barrages is the true potential of Angelfall Eira is capable of controlling the semblance to create a single blast. Doing so requires her to be able to extend a hand and point her palm at the target. A ring of energy large enough for her to pass her hand through appears before her hand and acts as the charging point for the shot.

Strengths:
Tactical: Eira is smart on the battlefield, using terrain and any other advantage to aid her, and a cool headed fighter that is not likely to make poor decisions in the heat of the moment.
Cooperative: She works well with a team and has no problems following instructions to complete a plan.
Weapon Expert: She's worked hard with every form of her weapon and is able to skillfully handle herself in melee with her weapon.
Jack-of-all-Trades: Eira took personal interest in investing time into learning how to handle all types of dust and has become very well versed in the ones she uses often. Her passing skill level in all types of dust make her a versatile dust user which gives her options in combat, and options are always a good thing.
Dexterous: Eira's physical fitness is rather high and her training includes keeping herself flexible so she can move however she needs to and do so with speed and precision.
Diplomatic: Eira has a fair amount of charisma and she is a natural diplomat. When it comes to negotiating she can be scary a times.
Cookbook: She's a skilled cook and her enjoyment of the hobby has lead to a wide variety of recipes she has memorized.
Trump Card: In a fight Eira has a strength in sheer strength. Her semblance is without a doubt a force to be reckoned with and she uses it as a fall back in a way similar to how Yang used to rely on hers. Her skill allows her to control it precisely and she can manage a number of applications all culminated with above all else the sheer destructive power her semblance can unleash. It can be a saving grace to turn around even the most unfavorable scenario.

Weaknesses:
Inaccurate: Her weapons ranged mode is strong but it's design makes it un-aimable in the conventional sense.
Low Walls: Eira has learned to defend herself very well with her weapon but her skills with dust are still notably weaker in the defense and healing fields. This forces her to rely more her aura to reduce damage she takes rather than being able to block it.
Draining: Angelfall takes a lot of endurance to use and every use of a full barrage really drains her stamina. Enough so that just two or three can leave her so winded she is gasping for air.
Vulnerability: There are few places to reliably break her skin but the protection that makes this so means any hit deals bludgeoning damage as the kinetic force has to go somewhere. She is particularly vulnerable to that type of damage as it can be reliably delivered almost anywhere on her person with nearly any type of weapon.
Soft-Hearted: Eira doesn't have a 'killer instinct'. She can fight grimm well enough but faunus or other humans causes her some pause. As an example if asked to really think about it she is not sure she could kill a faunus that is a member of the white fang even if they themselves were trying to kill her in the fight. It is likely she would be haunted with guilt if she has reason to place loss of human/faunus life at her own feet.
Fears: She's afraid of spiders and certain grimm can make her freeze up. (Death Stalkers)
Self-Blame: Tying back to soft-hearted Eira cares a lot about those close to her. If harm was to befall those she cares for it is highly probable that Eira would take to blaming herself for it. Even if there was nothing she could of done and she ran herself ragged doing more than was reasonable to prevent it she would still blame herself for failing them.
Good Natured: Eira tends to place faith in other rather easily. This friendliness and willing to trust unfortunately makes her vulnerable. She can be gullible as she tends to not question the motives of others.

Personality:
❖ To those that know her Eira comes across as a bright individual. Her natural state seems to be a happy one and her outlook on life is optimistic. As such it is uncommon to see her without a smile. She's very sociable and enjoys having fun with those close to her above almost anything else. Such memories are a treasure for her. Beyond just being friendly Eira is a good-natured and kind-hearted girl who would not turn her back on someone in need. She places a high value on her word and will never break someones trust in her if she can avoid it. She's known to be honest almost to a fault though which causes her to say some things that are painfully blunt. Despite the slips she might say from time to time she doesn't seem to have a spiteful bone in her body. Over the years more than a couple people have spent time worrying about how naive and gullible she can be. She rarely seems to ever question another's motives and her trust is perhaps too easily given. She relies on those around her more than ever in such cases. When she is feeling down Eira likes to play it close to the chest and hide it, but she is rather bad at doing so. In fact most people that aren't plagued with obliviousness could probably read her like a book.

History:
❖ Like most people Eira's story probably starts with her parents. Eira's mother was a student at Beacon. She was in the first class to come to the academy after the school reopened. Her father never took any huntsman training and was just a civilian in a small coastal town in southern Vale where he operated airships in the local area. After her mother graduated from Beacon and began to work as a huntress the two eventually met as her work took her south. Things developed as they do and Eira's mother settled down as a huntress in that small town. Eira's sister Lily was born first and Eira came a few years later.

The creatures of grimm around their home were growing in numbers and ambition. So much so that Eira's mother contacted her old teammates to ask them if they could come join her for a time to help deal with the threat. At that point in time Eira was still very young and she never strayed far from her mother. At that time she was very different than she is now. She was a shy girl and somewhat unremarkable in how easy she was to overlook. As quiet as she was it shouldn't come as much surprise that her mothers silent shadow followed along even when told not to as they all headed out into the countryside. Eira was hopelessly outmatched though and very quickly was left behind. She wasn't found again until the next morning when one of her mother's teammates found her asleep curled up under a tree in the woods after they had all turned back and began retracing their path upon returning in the evening to find the child missing.

Eira's night in the woods had been eventful. As reported by the huntsman that found her. As he handed her sleeping form back over to her mother he told her about the grimm he had found. In the night the creatures had found a child lost in the woods and they had decided to hunt it. The pursuit had scared little Eira so much that at that young age her semblance was awoken. Her mother's friend couldn't begin to guess what had happened but the scene was rather impressive. A single tree standing in a clearing created of the downed, splintered timbers of destroyed trees. Mangled into the wood were dozens of grimm. All topped off with a little girl barely thigh high curled up on a patch of grass being watched by the remaining four grimm that all seemed most unwilling to leave the safety of the standing trees to approach.

Over the next year Eira's mom worked with Eira to manifest her semblance and by the age of seven she had mastered a level of control that she could call upon it whenever she wanted. At this point her mother began to take her with her on some of her low risk hunts. Eira mostly hung back and watched how a huntress did their job. She watched and learned. Unsurprisingly by the age of ten her mother was her hero and her mind was squarely set on becoming a huntress. She started attending schools for huntress. As a student Eira had been ahead of her class. Her mother had been teaching her how to use dust and how to control her semblance for years before this. Probably the most useful thing she learned during those early school years was how to build and maintain her first weapon. It is a particularly proud memory for her and she still has Gungnir to this day.

As she aged and progressed through her training her personality developed into the more outgoing girl everyone knows today. She still devotes a lot of her time into training though even though she is still probably ahead of the curve in that department as well.
